i would like to continue with your work. To upgrade WM 6 to 6.1.
I worked for Symbol (now Motorola) than we had lot of Pocket PC .NET CE and WM devices.
It is very interesting for me because i'm new owner this older but interesting machine

May be it is stupid question, but ...
We have T-Mobile Wing release in June 2007 and specs are almost EXACTLY same as for Wizard. But Wing has WM6 officially.

Since only Faria WM6 ROM based on "kind of official" WM6 ROM for Wizard, would it be possible to rip WM6 ROM from Wing and have it on Wizard ?
yes it should be easily possible and I'm sure it will be done as soon as it's out. The Wing is supposed to be released this month by the way.
It should be less work than previous ROMS:
-Convert to WWE - Done!
-Majority of bugfixes - Done!
-Use of pseudo 100% same build files - Done!
-Change drivers for Wizard - For us to do
Hopefully that will be the only thing to do maybe with some image size adaptions if necessary. Perhaps the Wing will even use a G4 chipset meaning some drivers will be ready there.

No it is not such easy.
I´m trying to get a sood dump from XDA terra (aka Wing) and some people tried to get it flashing to wizard.

Hi everybody, i have HTC prophet (Orange M600), turning with WM5. Can some one help me and telle me how to upgrade into WinCe 06, French edition? Thanks again.
Simple first download one of these roms: gollum tf2dopera, manila, diamond rom, pdaviet. Then do hard spl on the device, after doing this, run the update utility g3 or g4, first find what type is your device, after the process is complete 100% if all goes well the device will reeboot, (it maybe take more than 1 minute), and the new operating system will start to run, any questions feel free to do so.
Hi, I have Qtek S200 with WM5 and would like to upgrade to WM6. How can I do this, please? Is there any topic that explains everything, as I don't understand anything about this! Thanks!

(I hope this is the right section)
I just bought a Diamond 2, and I'm wondering about is it possible to upgrade to WM 6.5 ?
I don't know much about how does it works - I guess I should change my device's ROM and that will reinstall? If there is one already out ofc..
Also I know probably there will be an official upgrade from HTC, but I cant wait

Could anybody tell me, where I can find the latest (most stable ROM) for the Polaris (XDA Orbit 2) fitting the following criteria:
- WM 6.5
- German user interface
- Manilla 2d or other/better
Currently I'm running the latest Version of Alex-V i found. But my XDA is not very stable with it. I think, there is less memory free. Running my navigation software, it often breaks down with "low memory" failure message. And any other application and event is very slow.
Coud you recommend me a ROM (WM 6.5 with German interface)?
Is there any german WM6.5 ROM which still is in development? Or in other words: is there any cooker who still is active for a german polaris rom?

How do I take a backup of the ROM and How do I upgrade to WM6.5. I have seen many posts; Looks like all are having ROM for touch phone. This is not a touch phone. Can some one give me hint, url etc.
