Is there no way to take it back. I accidentally deleted it off when I connected it in my laptop using Vista Ultimate, so it is not synced. In Computer, I see it as a portable device, and inside there, there are 3 different folders \, My Storage, and Storage Card.
The files are fairly important to me... Anyway I can get it back?
first thing you need to do is NOT touch the storage card at all.. that is.. don't copy ANYTHING new on it.
now... download Active Recovery 7... read your storage card through a reader..
and you can recover the files..
Um, it is not storage card, it is the MY STORAGE from internal memory.

Try connecting your device as a card using some program. I don't remember which one. Maybe someone can enlighten you on a program that does that since I have no clue about any.
install nueMassStorage. declare connecting as a usb key rather than activesync.
it might let you use active recovery..
Thank you guys!
Thank you nir36 for the program!!
Though, I lost like 2 or 3 pictures because it was overwritten somehow? But I got msot of them back! Thank you! And very useful tool too!

My Touch Pro came with a 1g MicroSD card. So...I started installing stuff on it already. Programs were installed in the card either by .cab file or through windows. Now I'm thinking of buying a larger MicroSD card....do i need to reinstall everything or can I just copy everything from the old card to the new one and it would be as if I didn't change anything?
Thanks
If you copy everything (including any normally hidden system files) then you should be fine and NOT have to reinstall any of your .cab files......
.
ahh, that's good to hear
I assume, using the PC to copy it will work since the PC sees all the files right?
ok, got my 4g micro sd and used activesync to transfer all files to a temp dir and move it all to the new card. I made sure that windows explorer could see hidden files and turned off that hidden operating system bit. works great
Yep I did the same from my tiny winy 4gbB to a barely adequate 16gb.

Just a bit of advice, next time, extract the micro-SD card, put it in a microsd 2 USB adaptor.
Copy/paste all files in a temp dir on your PC.
Remove the card from adaptor, place the new one. Copy all the files back on the new card.
Copy made through a USB card reader is definitly faster than a regular activesync copy !
Hope this helps !
Hi Guys,
I also found that if I have to transfer quite a lot of data to the PC it's much faster to switch the Touch Pro to 'Disk Drive' mode instead of 'ActiveSync' mode, then it's really quick!
Good for backing up the storage card etc.
Cheers,
D.

Well, you usually backup to the storage card, right?
All of the sudden, all the files on my SD card went missing! I was transferring music and video files to the device over USB (as a storage card, per the custom ROM USB/PC feature) and after it was done, it showed my card as blank.
I took the card out of the phone (XV6900) and put it into my SD adapter and into my computer. The 4GB card shows that 1.8GB are in use when I go to properties, however, there are no files at all in the root of the drive! Like they are invisible! (Yes, I have Windows set to show all hidden and system files, so that is not the problem)
How do I get my files to reappear? It looks like they are not actually deleted! i don't get why this happened all of the sudden
you can try an undelete program and check the sdcard while in the reader
undelete programs can handle sdreaders just like they can hd's

I'm using the same 4GB card as my old phones. this never happened on my Titan or TouchPro, each of which I have for a year or so. I have had a Vogue for 1 week and it has happened twice! does the XV6900 wipe the card periodically or when performing certain actions? even on a ROM update/flash it should touch the SD card when running from the RUU package in windows
Hey guys.
I realize the SIMPLE answer here is probably no, but I'm in dire straits here.
I don't know how, but somehow, my xoom deleted all of my photos, now I honestly don't know if it was on my external sd or internal storage things got messed up, but I'm currently running a full deep recovery on my sd card to check there.
I'd also love to be able to do the same with the internal storage. Since they took away the USB mass storage thing, this seems 'improbable'. But I really need some of the wise wizards in here to tell me if there's ANY way - maybe an old kernel? maybe there's a way to do it with linux!? If anyone could help me, I'd let you name my first-born child
you should be able to see both the SD card and the internal card mounted when you plug in the USB cable, make sure you have the correct USB driver. Hope this helps..
yeah, the MTP protocol allows me to see it, no problems. But it needs to be mounted as mass storage device for data recovery tools to be able to get to work on it, since MTP doesn't give access to the actual file-system.
Hey, guys! I think I need you help here! I have accidentally deleted some phone photos that have been taken with my families. I have remembered all of them have been stored on the inner memory card, not phone internal memory card. So, it is possible for me to get back all my deleted pictures? Any idea could be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
If your just trying to recovery deleted files from and SD card? Try:
http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using Tapatalk
You could also try software called Recuva
Sent from my Nexus S using Tapatalk 2
I recommend this recommendation...

My ways may help you out:
1). Keep this phone memory card way from any newly taken photos or new files in case of any data loss.
2). Connect this card to your computer with a card Reader.
3). Try to restore your lost memory card photos back with a phone card data recovery program, like 4Card Recovery, Recuva, PhotoRec and more.
4). Save and back up all restored photos on another drive or place in case of data loss.
Note: Never format a phone memory card without data backup again.

Hi There,

So I had connected my phone to the computer, and I accidentally deleted the emulated folder in my phone on the computer... This wiped literally every media and other files off my OPO . Is there a way I can recover this? Really desperate since I had some important pictures and files stored on it... I cannot use any PC recovery tools since the OPO doesn't support Mass Media Storage since it lacks an external SD card slot. How do I recover in MTP or PTP now? I don't even have the TWRP back ups since it wiped my SD card.
All the apps and other data such as contacts are stil intact though.
Any help is appreciated, thanks
Try to search for "data recovery"' in the playstore, some of them seems to work..
Worth to try...
