Hi!
I am looking for some kind of "CCleaner" clone, designed for Windows Mobile 6.1.
What do I expect it to do? Clean up temporary files such as Internet Explorer cache and stuff, and clean up the registry.
Can somebody help me find a program like this?

Hi, has anyone found a java midlet manager one can download and run on a windows mobile 2005 smartphone. Ive read a bit but for non programmers its all greek. I'm in trouble with my PDA (ASUS MyPal 636).....Does anybody know how to remove programs already presents into WM5 like Internet Explorer, pocket Word or Pocket excel? Are there any utility that can do this job?

first of all i would like to congratulate Dr. Martin Gonzo for his amazing ROM.
now, since i've seen that many people have already tried and are currently using his rom, you definitely have some of your other apps instaled
what i would like to know is:
wich apps do you think work best with the Windows Mobile 6.1 version
or that you find them practical or indespensable
if you can, put a thumbnail of you 6.1 screen
would like to see come cool backgrounds with the 6.1
please share the links if possible

i guess it should be pretty much the same applications for wm6.1 also.

Total Commander, Its got to be the best Freeware File Manager for Windows Mobile. It allows you to work with files in ROM unlike File Explorer, allows you to edit the registry and even has an ftp client built in.

I'm fairly new to this and I have a lot of things stored to my internal memory on my palm treo 750, (I thought this was where there were supposed to be installed).
Maybe I have some overlaps or unnecessary items, this is whats installed:
Microsoft .Net configuration

What OS version are you running (WM6, WM6.1, WM6.5)? That can be checked in the Settings->System->About.
Seems like you do the same things I do, I install to internal memory for necessary stuff, that needs to be in the internal storage, and I don't like installing to external cards.
In a few days I will be releasing a WM6.5 version that will grant more memory, and if there is much demand, I can do the same for WM6, for those that prefer WM6 (and maybe 6.1)
