I have scoured the net looking for an answer to this and I am really not able to find much information at all.
I am looking for information regarding the version of Windows Media Player that the Cingular Blackjack uses. I want to know if it's possible to get that version of the player to work on other devices.
I have never used the player, I have only seen screenshots of it. If it works as good as it seems it would, I think I would love to have this on my 8525.
Can anyone shed some light on the mystery of this elusive WMP version?

Hello just a quick question that should be answered quickly the many experienced members of this forum.
I am after a today plugin that controls Windows Media Player? or similar, for a WM6
i know there used to be a program called spd toplay, however it would appear as if they have stopped this.
however i have read that if i have a Kaiser with WM6, then it is already included as one of the many options. Is this true?
i wish i could upgrade from my N73 now!!!!!!!!

There's also the 5 and 6 tabs home plugins from HTC that has a player tab. Works really well.

Will this work with WM5? On their site it looks like it is only for 2003.

Does that only work with Audio Manager or can it be made to work with Media Player as well?
it says on the site that mortplayer has a today plugin. i have mortplayer, and i dont have a today plugin. where can i find that?

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the music launcher in HTC Home PlugIn from WMP and Audio Manager to Pocket Tunes?
I know changing HKLM->Software->HTC->Music PlugIn from 1 to 2 changes the music launcher from WMP to Audio Manager but is there a way to change it to Pocket Tunes?
Would really appreciate it if anyone knows how.

I doubt it, Pocket Tunes is really for Palm I think. I used to have it on my Treo's, but never decided to try the WM version since it's almost $40.

I remember on my HTC universal I had a today plug in for Microsoft media player that enabled you to use all the normal controls within the today screen. not sure where it came or how I got my hands on it but its there...
anyone know a cab for it?
