Czech WM6.1 ROM ported from HTC Kaiser

Hi, I've made this ROM for MDA Vario from HTC Kaiser ROM RUU_Kaiser_HTC_CSY_3.28.462.1_radio_sign_25.83.40.02_1.65.16.25_Ship.exe
DISCLAIMER: PLEASE USE THIS ROM ON YOUR OWN RISK. THIS ROM CAN BE USED ONLY ON CID UNLOCKED DEVICE.
OS: 5.2.318 Build 19212.1.0.3
Known problems:
1) SYM key on hardware keyboard doesn't work - you cannot write local letters
2) auto complete doesn't work
- these are quite common problems with ported Kaiser ROMs, I don't have any solution yet, if you figure out how to get it work, please contact me or write your ideas in this thread

BT sync
Great job, thank you. But i found some other issue: BT sync doesn't work.

BT Sync works fine for me, I use it almost every day - check settings in your PC if everything is ok, but this problem isn't in ROM...

OK takže ještě jednou - než to flashnete, tak se podívejte na známé chyby uvedené v prvním příspěvku zde nebo na ce4you - je tam jasně uvedeno, že NEFUNGUJE navrhování slov při psaní - z toho vyplývá, že nefunguje ani navrhování kontaktů při psaní sms, protože se jedná o jednu a tu samou aplikaci - zajišťuje to jedna a ta samá knihovna, která zde nepracuje. MortPlayer neznám a pokud nefunguje jak má, je to vinou WM6.1 nebo MortPlayeru, ne ROM - zkus použít google, pravděpodobně někdo už tu samou chybu někdy řešil.
PS. A pokud chcete psát česky, tak prosím pište na ce4you, popř. přidejte anglický překlad... Děkuji.

OK so once again - before you flash it, read the first post - there are known problems and word completition, which allows you to add contact name in Messaging, is one of them. I don't know MortPlayer, but if it doesn't work, it's probably incompatible with WM6.1 or some error of MortPlayer, not the problem of this ROM - try to use google, please.

Synchronizaci pres BT jsem rozchodil az po aplikovani patche z Bluetooth.zip v tomto vlakne http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=374373
V ntb mam integrovany BT modul s chipsetem Widcomm. V pda mi nabizi sluzby Seriovy port, Telefonicke vytaceni site a Sada handsfree. Po aplikovani patche se zmeni Seriovy port na Activesync a vse bezi jak ma.

Bluetooth - mne stačí v active sync na ppc zvolit "Připojit pomocí bluetooth", najde mi to počítač a kliknu na připojit a je to.
CAB z extended rom - problém je již opraven, viz první příspěvek - stahni si novou rom a flashni jí, pak již vše bude fungovat i při dalším hardresetu.

Bluetooth works fine for me, all I have to do is choose "Connect via bluetooth" in active sync in ppc, then choose my computer and that's all.
Extended rom - this problem is already fixed, look at th first post, download new ROM, flash it and all should work fine.

Good job, working nice. After installation of this rom, I had to restart device (wizard freeze with making custom settings on the first run). Thanks anyway!

Here is my first released cooked rom... M-Diamond 1.0|dyn pp
The Base is the officiell German-HTC-Rom with CE OS 5.2.19212 (Build 19212)
This is only the OS, but it's recomanded that you use 1.65.xx.xx radio´s with this rom. I use the original 1.65.16.25 radio version.
you need to flash LINK>>> HARDSPL <<<LINK first!!!....then you can flashing these rom.
After the first boot the device instaling the Diamond HTC black bars, then the device boot again, and you can work with it.

I would test it myself, but I just got my kaiser fully set up as i want it and don't really want to reflash and set it up again for testing this.

cleartype-setting is greyed out in landscape so i don´t think it´s working

Hab das Rom gestern Nacht noch auf mein Tytn2 gehauen und soweit ist alles ok bisher. Was mir fehlt ist der MSN Messi.. aber da schau ich mich mal nach nem alternativprogramm um.. also nicht sooo schlimm.
I have toastet it to my Tytn2 last night, and all ok so far. Very nice looking. MSN Messi is missing in the Rom, but i will show after a alternativ App.

Throttle Launcher tips:
What to do first: (Setting up ThrottleLauncher)
1. After final flash synch all you contact etc. with outlook or restore
2. set up you email acount (but only if you use email)
3. install any soft you haven't installed with UC
4. start Throttleconfig and chooses TFlo3D if not chosen then press config
5. now go to weather tab and type in you town and country ( Town, Country "New York, USA" ) if it's not working try the short for your country Denmark=DK Germany=GR
6. now go to the email tab change Acticesync to the name of your acount ( it is case sensetive so if acount is Gullum it want display any info if you type gullum)
7. optional in General tab choose and arange what pages to show.
8. press save then exit on the default throttle config page choses reload plug
this can also be done later but this will get you familuare with the config app
the music page can controll WMplayer,S2P and Morthplayer
To get the Flash Clock, Weather and Conntacts to work you need to install fp7_ppc_en.cab
It can happen that throttlelauncher does not start after first boot.. just goto start/programs/throttleconfig and choose TFlo3d and save and reload plugin

unzip and rename Backlight.exe.0409.MUI to Backlight.exe.0XXX.MUI where XXX is the code for you country( you can find you country code behind the download link in post 2) then copy the file to the windows folder of Wizard if you get an can't overwrite error just do a reset and copy again now backlight works but has english text

Nice ROM , I like the languages !
Some feedback:
1) I tried to switch weather to Rotterdam,NL but it keeps going back to Lissbon how should I change this??
2) Tried the Flash clock but do not know what to expect from the flash clock. All I noticed was that the clock is smaller ( less height )
3) Tried the flash Weather and it gave me indeed animated rain but there are two gradient blocks on top of screen over the animated clouds :-(
4) Office Mobile folder incomplete ( only Excel and Word )

1) try to add Rotterdam, NL (remember the space) or Nederland.
2) flash clock should look the same only animated changing.
3) don't know about that one never used any of the Flash myself
4) this is totaly a choice I've made I never use the Power point os one note.
5) not shure how that happend that was not my intension so sorry this will not happen again. I'm shure it one of the provxml files that's from the kitchen OEMOPERATORS folder that I changed because I've used the oem drivers and stuff form a kitchen from here and the creators name was there. but good thig is that you can change that to what ever you like

1) When I switch off the flash animation on Weater Rotterdam, Nederland worked but with aflash animation it keeps going back to Lisbon...puzzled.
2) No animation was seen, so maybe someone else can explain?
3) see screenshot attached, it should be fixed ideally..
4) OK there is an office cab on XDA but it would be nice to have tasks and note in there

this is only os.nb no radio or slp or any thing else so yes it should be G4 safe

if you are refering to the home only showing 50% of the page in landscape and not the Touch Pro menu look then no it's not fixed but It's going to be fixed in next version of Throttle launcher. this problem is ecause the keyboar is on the other side then on Herald and Kaiser.

Standart version is with 16MB PagePool. I think that this is the best settings. It may be faster version.
But if you want 12MB PagePool, you have a choice. 12MB PagePool is used in official HTC ROMs by default.
I recommend the standart version.
The only diference is in free RAM. 12MB PP version may have more free RAM, but could be a little bit slower.

Vydána nová verze.
S touto verzí jsem už opravdu spokojen, a myslím, že nabízí hned po instalaci uživateli celkem pohodlí.
Zřejmě se bude jednat i o poslední release, pokud se neobjeví zásadní chyba, či nějaký zásadní update pro Kaisera.
Popravdě... Nevím, co jiného tam přidat a ROM mi docela dost vyhovuje.

Ahoj, mate nekdo kaisera v O2? Jake vam nejlepe funguje radio? Ja se zatim drzim radii 1.65, nejake zkusenosti s 1.7x? Diky

Sice nepoužívám tuto ROM, ale s nejnovějším 1.70.19.09 nemám potíž.

MIDI ringtones - no sound
Musím uznat, že se jedná o velice zdařilou ROM. Něco jako svého času NoThrills V3, kterou jsem velice dlouho používal (hlavně je čistě Kaiserová). Nyní už několik měsíců jedu na této ROMce a jsem naprosto spokojený, ale našel jsem snad jedinou její chybu.
Mám problém s přehráváním MIDů nastavených jako vyzváněcí melodie. Na předchozích ROMkách se mi to nikdy nestalo. Našel jsem tady na fóru, že to může být způsobeno souborem htcmidi.avd (v kombinaci s tone_sample.data), ale ani jeden z nalezených (o velikostech 540 kB ani 320 kB) můj problém nevyřešil.

Very nice ROM like a NoThrills V3 - my favorite (and also pure Kaiser ROM). I found only one bug in this ROM.
I've problem with MIDI ringtones. When use MIDI melody as ringtone Kaiser plays no sound. I found on XDA there a problem with htcmidi.avd (and tone_sample.data) file in Windows folder. But copy other version (with size 540 kB or 320 kB) of this file has no effect.

Jen bych rád upozornil, že ROM bohužel již není ve vývoji. Resp. současnou verzi považuji za odladěnou.
Nicméně nikdo Vám nebrání v její úpravě ;-)
Co se týče MID souborů, s těmi nemám problém. Je možné že to způsobuje nějaký dodatečný software...
