I had the same after installing a piece of software - unfortunately, cant remember which one it was.
try un-installing recently installed software.

I am having trouble with my ROM all of a sudden. I don't remember seeing this kind of error message before. I did a clean hard reset of Faria's Pro Kitchen ROM on my MDA and installed some programs. Then one day, I got the message "Cannot execute \Windows\PocketNotify.exe" and more for calnot.exe and other programs. This message pops up random and to fix it, I reset it. But what is this message really saying and why does it come on random? How can I stop it? I have searched the forum but did not see this situation. Someone else might be having something similar so I decided to post.

i had the same problem...i ended up switching roms though. it did occur in another rom and i found that it was due to duplicate entries in the notification database. i use anton tomov's pocket mechanic to scan for duplicate entries and delete them. i haven't had the error since.
Would anyone know why I keep getting an error message after any soft resets for Palringo - palringo.exe can not start, not a trusted cert, etc. I've installed on the mem card, uninstalled it, installed on main mem and still get the same error after a soft reset. Keep in mind, I have checked the box to prevent it from starting up... any help, greatly appreciated
Same issue here. Anyone have a fix or know how to stop it trying to load on start up?
Hey everyone,
I bought this phone yesterday on o2 (XDA Serra). I like the phone and have quickly got used to it.
There is just one problem that is bugging me however. If I have the keyboard shut and I am running an application and then I decide to open the keyboard an error report with device.exe is generated.
I can simply click away the error and continue as normal, but this is quite an annoying bug. Does anyone know of any fix to this or anything I can try that may help?
I haven't gone through the process of setting up all my phone yet, so resetting isn't a problem.
Thanks in advance,
Andy
I too am having this problem. It just suddenly started to happen today. The soft keyboard is unusable and the bottom half is cut off. Anyone know how to fix this?
Well mine has stopped doing it now. It would appear it fixed itself.
I am having the same problems on my 3 week old Serra all the time. Every time I start typing I get the error report caused by device.exe 2 or 3 times in a row, then it is fine for a while.
Anyone have any ideas on fixing this?
Thanks
Ignorance is bliss ....
Hi,
i've had similar problems with my O2 Serra when i first got it ... It got that annoying that i turned off the error reporting as the keyboard still works after that error is given ... or at least that was the case on my Serra ... i got allsorts of errors when i first got the phone but found that everything still works fine even after the error came up ...
Not really a fix i know but it stops the errors displaying on screen ... ;-)
Anyone encountered error 403 after upgrading to ics?...dont think its my router problem because the error is incosistent...for example:
When im updating facebook apps the first time its ok, then another update available 2 days after, the error occured and the error will stay there, but the things is that it wont fail on 3g. I dont really mind if its small apps but i need update of huge game apps...im in deep trouble...i am seriously considering changing this tab to another one....also google support is useless, they gave all sorts of solution that didnt work and in the end just didnt reply my emails anymore.
This is frustrating....
I've tried all sorts of things,
Cleared cache and data in playstore, download manager and even the service framework....nothing happened
Only for my tab 7.7 though

Click to collapse
Seems to be a router problem, nothing to do with your tab.

Hi everyone. I've been facing a curious error message on my Nexus 5 and I was hoping I could find some answers here in XDA. I bought the phone about 3 weeks ago and right upon the unboxing I've installed the ROM Cyanogenmod 11 M6. However, several times a day I notice this error message (as shown in the attached snapshot):
"Oops! Current has stopped responding, a report has been sent to our developers."
I don't use the phone so much during the day, but the few times I pick it up, I notice the error popping up on my screen, randomly.
Another remark: I had already noticed this error in my previous phone, Samsung Galaxy Nexus, even without CM installed (at the time it was up-to-date to the latest available Android version, v4.3 JWR66Y).
Does anyone have any idea of what may be causing this error? I have no app installed with such name as "Current" (the only one is "Google Currents", but even when uninstalled the error persists and thus shows no relation whatsoever with the error message).
Thanks a lot!
