Does anyone know where someone can get the install or .cab file for this app?
I have looked and looked, and cannot find it.
I have downloaded the YAHOO! GO application, but it does not have the MESSENGER application.
I would really like to add this to my phone, as it is the only IM tool that I really use.

has anyone tried out the new aol mobile. its similar to yahoo2go but way better. i installed the beta on my touch cruise and it pretty awesome.

I cannot find the cab file or installer for YMM. I searched for a few weeks now and everything points to AT&Ts page via the phone. I don't have AT&T and when I go to Yahoo it's just a page with no download. Only web based YM when clicked the link and Yahoo Go suck.... can anyone help?
I don't know of single app for yahoo messenger at least by yahoo anyway. I personally use Slick. Its currently in testing so its free and I have been using version .42 for some time now and havent had a single problem. You can download it at www.lonelycatgames.com

What about battery consumption of these programs? I tryed fring and it kills my battery in a couple of hours (over 3G). Do you have any comparations?

why don't you just use Palringo, you can simply install it from Device Update

lil76, did you actually get it to work on WM65? I just installed yesterday, and while icon is there, launching it doesn't do anything. Doesn't freeze up, just does... nothing. Using a Dash rommed with Mobile 6.5.
Using Palringo in the meantime, but I truly loved that app for Yahoo/Live Messenger/AIM.

there is no such thing as a java program which can limit the speed of your internet
to anything lower then it is so if you got 3g all programs java and native will not change that
Has anyone got a .cab file for the version suitable for TG01 ?
I got the SMS message from Microsoft and followed the link but the version itt links to says "Standard (Non Touch)".
I downloaded it anyway but then it wont install as it says its the incorrect version !
I only want Messenger - not bothered about any of the other Windows Live stuff...!

u can only get wlm if u get the other **** too , u can uncheck some of it while u install tho

if you go onto the marketplace you can either download windows live messenger straight from there for free or the other app i would recommend would be E-buddy
I Have been trying to install the Vid Chat after flashing the CM rom on my GTab. I download yahoo messenger, but my market doesnt show the plugin and when I do find an apk for it and install it, it says that i need an updated version and redirects me to the market, where it doesn's show what I need. Also, when i download Fring, it will not open. Force close error mssg pops up. Any help would be appreciated. I bought this tablet again bc I saw there were finally roms avail for it and hoped to be able to vid chat. I see where some can and some cant.
Search in the themes forum for 'reelportal'. That works OK. You'll need the Air apk and the reelportal apk from that thread.

I'm having problems with yahoo messenger video chat. It installs and works fine with everything except video chat. I have installed the app and plug in and still no video it tries to connect the video call but never does.
Im running CM7, can anyone help??
