How can i get opera to completly run from your SD card? What do i need to do? ive heard you have to edit the reg to get it working good and does UPX4PPC help at all or does it do more bad than good? Someone suggested i use it if i install it on the SD card. Thanks and happy holidays!

Hi guys
My 2GB Mini SD card is not working. I have a Trinity - Orange SPV M700, I wonder if anyone could tell me how to I fromat it and which FAT system to use?
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I did try to use File explorer and looked everywhere in the Settings section.
I am thinking, maybe I need to use my card reader in the computer or do I have to buy a 3rd party program to do this?

Sometimes this happens when:
1) The ROM you are using probably is set to write the temporary files to the SD card, which leads us to number 2.
2) You are using a slow speed mini SD Card.
You can solve this by :
1) Changing the path where the temporary files are written
2) Buy a faster SD card.
You can increase the transfer rate from the device to the SD. You have to tweak it manually (via the registry) or using some comercial tools as sktools.
Please dont ask me how. Read on the forums if you dont know who to change the path. It has been discussed over and over again. Search the threads and you will find your answer.

remember you need to set that your temp files are written in the device not in the sd.
hi!!! masters, i would like to ask, Which rom works flawlessly with normal SD cards? i dont have a SDHC here, just a normal SD. i have read that with normal SD, the device wont recognize the card after resuming from sleep....

Most of these ROMs, which feature this problem anyway, have a simple fix, just remove card then reinsert, a little annoying, but no biggy

I use my SD to backup my ROM before upgrade.
After upgrade the ROM I put the SD on Magician, and asked me if I want to format it. I said yes.
Now the SD no longer works in Magician and PC.
How can I solve this?

I had the same problem as mentioned, then i used the program SDFormatter V2.0 to format my SD card. After that it just worked.
Why not try it, its freeware.
Can anyone tell me if using a class 2 card slow down the hero build?
Should I switch to a class 6? and if so how will it improve things?
And finally how CAN i copy my apps on sd ext2 to windows.
