hi. good day.
i just got my pda phone today. and it is really a big leap from using the standard nokia / sony ericsson phone; for one you cant really text using a single hand.
but maybe i could learn to adjust.
my next question is that.
is there a program i could use to type a message/text in the pc then send it through the phone?
like the one which nokia have? or in camera ... remote shooting ...
i am sorry, but i tried to look over the net/forums. really.
hope you could shed light about this.
thank you.
There's a piece of software out there called MyMobile that I use on my Windows machine. It displays a window on your desktop that shows the screen of your PDA, and allows you to control it from Windows. You can text using the keyboard, etc. Very nice application, and it's free!
could you share it? the website my http://mymobileconnection.com says the download is by invitation only.
Hi all,
I did not know where to place my question so here goes:
I have a iPhone clone thing T32+ interal GPS with Windows Mobile 6 on it.
Now, I don't like WM6. Is it possible to install some other OS? What about ANDROID?? Is that already available? I really don't like the keyboards available in WM6. What a job typing a SMS!!
Also, I can't change the text language to Dutch and therefore Dutch Word Suggestion while typing.
Let me know what you experts think.
Thank you
Windows mobile may be sort of gimpy out of the box but there is a lot you can do with it.
For instance, here is a nice pretty skinnable keyboard (skins on the same site) http://www.pocketcm.com/keyboard.php . More skins http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=330525 . Our two phones have the same screen. On my phone pocketCM set on big takes up about half of the screen. Easy typing.
Another nice one is happytapping.
If you want a different launcher / ui there are tons of them available too. Ifonz if you want to look like an iPhone. There are tons of others also. Just look for home screen replacement or launchers. My phone doesn't even resemble wm6 anymore. The fun of windows mobile is customizing it into what you want, and being able to change what it is like on a whim. Of course I guess if you want something functional out of the box there are definetly better choices. On that note, yes you are pretty much stuck with windows on that phone.

Hello,
I think BeeLineGPS would be a good program for you.
I have been using since version 1; works great for what you need.
Google it since I can't add URLs in posts yet...
If you use CHT 2, I have in mind CHTS loco or something like. Search in this HD2 theme and apps directory

Hi lads,
There is an app called AFL Supercoach on the iOS app store. I want that app on WP7 but have absolutely no hope that it is in development. I was wondering whether it would be possible to convert it using the tool MS had released. The tool with all the indexed codes and stuff..
Would it be possible? In a WP7 layout (Zune like)? And how hard would it be?
I'm not an experienced developer..
cheers guys, Abz

Its too early for me to dig up a link but if you go to MSDeveloper pages, there is a link for porting apps from iOS to WP and Android to WP. I am not an experienced developer either but love tinkering stuff from days of WM and android. I am currently porting 2 Android apps to WP. Takes time initially but isn't that difficult. Give it a shot. If you fail to find a link, holla me, when I've opened my eyes I will search it and paste it here. Hope this will help. Happy developing for WP!
Hey dude,
Got the link and also the app that I'm working on. But how do I know which file from inside the iOS app corresponds to which file within the WP7 app? They have different names....
And for the corresponding APIs and codes, do I have to use the online"directory" on the MSDeveloper or is there an alternative program available?
Cheers, Abz
