this rom is removed because of securetie reasons with opera mini if you use this rom please install a new version of opera mini

I've just bought a used Polaris and a Shift
The reason I sold the Herald was I got a 42"plasma tv and an guitar for selling my Herald + 400€ so it was just a deal I could not pass I've also sold my ELF today so now I'm down to 6 HTC devices

Hey, the youtube app on here is HOT!! is there any link to a cab file with that app? I have another wm6 phone I want to try it on for my wife. And it's not a wing or herald so I don't want to attempt to flash her phone with this rom. Thanks. I love the rom on my wing though. The streaming video player actually works from the regular youtube website and mobile youtube website. Oh yeah, and is there any way to change the clock to a "digital" clock instead of that analog one?
I was wondering, on the screen shot, it shows an icon for an FM application but I don't see it on the rom when I flashed it. Just wondering, is there one? Also, anyone know where I can find a .cab file or whatever to help me fix the keyboard mapping? Otherwise, the rom is awesome.

I've updated the Tilt keyboard fix to address the apparent issue with the Smartdialer keys also being incorrectly mapped when flashing a non AT&T ROM onto the Tilt. This will also fix the FN character issues being incorrectly mapped too.
This was tested on a Tilt flashed with the (current) HTC ROM and worked perfectly.
Install -> Soft Reset
Enjoy!
IMPORTANT:
Some people have reported that this cab didn't fix their Smartdialer issue. It's important that you uninstall the older cab that was posted here (if you even installed it), then soft reset. Then install the new one and soft reset one more time. That should do it.
Do not unzip/decompress this .cab file on your desktop and move the files over to your device. It won't work. You need to copy the .cab (as is) onto your device and tap to install.

You "should" be able to just navigate to:
HKLM\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\KEYBD and delete CWSLayout, then soft-reset.

i got the tilt at 12 today and took it home and startedripping it apart, I put the htc rom on with msvc 1.6, live search, the nice battery icon and the home plug-in customizer, thats it, on my hermes i needed so maney things to make it function, i like the tilt now that the keyboard is fixed.
damn i can not edit the title, well crap

When you flash the HTC ROM (or any non-ATT ROM) onto the ATT Tilt, some of the alternate (FN) characters on the keyboard are mapped incorrectly. This fixes that.

It is a registry entry. I was originally looking for the same "qwerty" entry (like in the 8525), but instead the following was the culprit:

You're trying to install it from your computer, don't. Move it over to your phone using activesync then tap to install.

its a cab file, try right clicking and save/as. stick it on your PPC and then run the cab. it worked fine here.
I have a bit of an issue when on phone mode. This fixes the FN issue, but doesn't fix the caps issue when on the phone mode. I'm trying to search for a name and the W is a Q, T is a V, there is no S, D is a F, and so on...

Please don't install this ROM, the publisher didn't make any indication about the configuration of that ROM
RC5 installed
It is really wonderful my sp5m is now all new not just smartphone but it becomes a PPC. Only thing is as the screen resolution is meant for VGA all fonts and items becomes so small, luckily my eyesight is still good.
I don't see much different between RC4 & RC5.. may be I have not checked thoroughly.. main difference is calculator is now easy to access.
Only bug I found is though I set AP1 button to anything from Settings>Buttons it never works, same thing happened in RC4 too, but if a shortcut Short_AP1.lnk is created it takes it. I set AP3 as <OK/Cancel> and it works untill I run TCPMP. While TCPMP is running AP1 works as Prev key AP2 as play and AP3 as next, it is not desirable and after closing TCPMP all these three buttons are no more working, so I need to restart my device.
I am not good in testing ROMs but I just like difference, so in these few days installed almost all ROMs for Tornado installed on my sp5m.
Some thing I like on this new ROM is to fix the above APx buttons problem and option for changing fack cursor's button (present is long home).
Regarding nk.nbf file just replace same file name of other ROM software with this one and flash.

tracen, AP1 button is binded for copy/paste utilities. This utilities is made by kamikadze! too and included in rom. You can find configurations for this utilities in programs - cbutilconfig.
could anyone make a clean version with pure English language? Thanks in advance.

apvito, You can configure all hard buttons in Start - Settings - Buttons and Start - Settings - Soft Key.
szanka, This rom contains only English interface. And only Russian and English xT9.
Thanks to our friends at modaco I can work towards a single cab fully works for Manila 3D from a HD (lighter and less dependency), to be installed on our TG01, still can not cook and should therefore seems necessary to be able to customize the interface at least, I hope you like!

but, and its a big but
When I came to uninstalling it, it got stuck on the uninstall screen for about 20 minutes, so I did a soft reset and the phone would no longer boot, so had to hard reset. Its the first time I have had to hard reset my phone.
Have you disable manila in today before unistal it?
Yep, I disabled it and switched back to the windows default home screen before I attempted to uninstall it. The only other thing I found didnt work is the album button on the photo viewer?

Hi! I know this thread is REALLY old but...
I noticed you editted the Manilla build. The hardware home button works perfect on this! Other sense ROMs/Cabs dont have the home button working to take you back to the home tab. Can you tell uss how you did this? It would be VERY useful for us!

HD2 Comm Manager with Extended Features
Hi all, This is an updated Comm Manager for HD2 based on excellent work from bnm7bnm (Thread 536466).
However, I faced following Problems with the Version from bnm7bnm on 2 HD2 devices running 1.66 ROM:
1. Bluetooth Enable/Disable : 2 Bluetooth Icons showed up on the Task Bar when Bluethooth was turned on from Comm Manager (This happened on 2 HD2 running ROM 1.66).
2. The Bluetooth On/Off Slider Button was not changing state in Comm Manager. It always stayed to Off Position.
3. I always like the to have the Bluetooth Manager executed from The Comm Manager instead of Bluetooth Wizard. So, I have changed this in my version
3. The 3G On/Off slider button would not change state and would always stay in Off postion.

I have fixed above in this release. Please note that this version was Tested on HD2 with HTC OFFICIAL ROM 1.66 with Manila 2.5.19211x. However, I am also sure that it would work on ROM 1.61 (Comments please?).

I have listed out the issues that I faced with the original version on HD2 with 1.66 Stock ROM. my version is merely a fix for those. moreover I like to run BTManager instead of BTWizard when the Bluetooth bar is clicked.

Please explain what is the meaning of the 3G option and the relation to the sixth option from above that (in Dutch gegevensverbinding) is indicated with something like data connection. Hello all,
I've compiled a cab file which overwrites the standard PowerOffHint.exe in the windows directory of your TG01 with an enhanced version of EndKey3.6. Now when you perform a long press on the power button the program will execute and list a set of action options, these options include:
Toggle Bluetooth
Toggle Wi-Fi
Toggle Data Connection
Toggle Vibrate
Screen Off
Soft Reset &
Power Off
Credit for the original concept goes to johcos for the EndKey program.
Credit also goes to JHML for the JMLcomm tool & virgilp for the ScreenOff program, both of which I've utilized in this project.
The action menu has been re-skinned by myself(influenced by the GTX theme) to accommodate the revised features included for the TG01 device.
I hope that you find this application useful. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Haha great!
Once I figured out what was causing the issue with the device not turning off it was a simple case of finding a way around it & the EndKey replacement utility has the ability to do just that. It was then just a case of removing what didn't work/wasn't needed like resetting Sense and replacing with tools that others may find useful like toggling Bluetooth on & off.

Hi mirolg,
First of all I’m really looking forward to your next Sense ROM release for the TG01.
As for the original skin for PowerOffHint Replacement I tried to keep as faithful to the GTX theme as possible & the font I was provided with didn’t render well in bold type.
However I’ll be more than happy to give it another whirl using a different font style.
Also didn’t you mention you were using this in miROM6? Which is a German language ROM? If so, I’d be more than happy to make a German version with the changes you’ve already requested.

Thanks for your answer, I have test with auto-cabinstall but this cab requires a reboot so when you install the ROM, auto-cabinstall don't stop you must press Power button for reboot and the auto-cabinstall restart after few seconds ....
With OEM I have almost succeeded, just shutdown don't work .....

i don´t know what yours problem with normal cab cooking. in miROM6 i have use as normaly cab .
when use as OEM look in his .rgu and change the path from shutdown.exe

Hello b0s,
As far as I am aware Endkey Replacement never came with that feature built in. You'll have to ask johcos if it's something he's willing to look at in future updates.
As for skinning, yes to can customize the look of the app by changing the .brn files.
