HTC 2125 white screen - HTC Tornado

Hi guys,
I have a problem with a friend's HTC 2125.
The phone are working fine and yesterday, i was shut down it and the simcard was removed.
Then, i try to turn on the phone and this one, launches a white screen (10-15 secondos ago).
I see this issue and try to launch the bootloader pressing the camera button and connecting the usb cable but this screen appear again. I try to launch the bootloader pressing the comm manager + camera button + power button and this screen appear again.
The white screen appear in the phone and is necesary to remove the battery because pressing the power off, this screen don't dissapear.
I try to charge the phone (this is shutdown, not in white screen) but when i insert the usb connector in the jack and the phone turn on and appear the white screen and the amber led don't turn on.
I compare these issues with my HTC 2125 and this works fine, the boot loader appear with the two combinations (3 seconds ago) and if i try to charge when the phone is off, this one turn on the amber led.
This is a hardware problem, have any solution, or the phone are wrong?
Thanks for you help!!!

Xoom is dead!

Hallo everyone,
I have a motorola Xoom wifi (mz604 i guess)... Once (almost 1 year ago) i installed the touch recovery and a ICS stock rooted rom.
It worked always fine.... today I went to check my email, and the xoom was off and i couldn't turn it on... I thought it was the battery, but when the battery is empty, when you try to turn the xoom on you see a red blinking led on the top (next to the front camera)...
But i put the xoom to charge, (the white led on the bottom went on) and when i came back home the led was green.
I tried to turn the xoom on, but surprise, nothing, no reaction, then y plugged the charger once again, and the bottom led went green, but i still can't turn the tablet on.
I tried all keys combinations that are possible.... Power + Volume up, Power + Volume down, Power + Volume Up and Down, Just volume down, Just volume Up, both volume keys...
Then i tried to connect the xoom to the PC, and also no reaction, nothing in the Device Manager.... (i have Windows 8)
Someone have an idea to solve this problem? Or is my tablet really dead?
Thank you very much.

Might sound a bit basic, but when you did the key combinations, did you hold the buttons down for 5-10 seconds? I think power plus volume up is reset button.

Hi Luinwethion,
My Xoom is in the same state you described. It happened this morning. There is a white light while charging and a green light after some time. I didn't get any response, with any keys combination.
Have you fixed yours?
Can you send me any tip to bring it to live again?
Thanks in advance.

Take the back cover off, on the bottom side of battery there are two wires-black&red- take them off the socket for 10minutes, when you connect it back again xoom should work!
Quick q: do you hear that click sound when pressing power button?
I have the same problem , my xoom went off without doing anything and it doesn't boot up!
does the disconnecting battery fix the problem ?
What rom you;

I'm in the same boat - the Xoom (USA WiFi) hung up while playing music - I rebooted it (power+up volume) it recovered, but then all the apps started crashing - I rebooted it again and it did not boot - just a blank screen. Battery light shows a charge when connected to a charger.
Does someone have instructions on how to remove the back cover?
Tom

It looks like the latest Google Play Services updated has dropped support for our Xoom's

Htc one s wont turn on!!

I rooted my HTC ONE S ( EUROPE ) a couple of months ago, everything was fine until yesterday when I went to unlocked my phone from my lock menu it and it displayed a message on my phone screen saying "hold power button or phone will shut down in 3 seconds" by the time i had realised that that message was there it had one second, so it turned off by itself and it wont come back on, it wont let me into recovery or the bootloader because the screen wont come on!! I've tried volume down and power and it doesnt work, the only thing it displays is a solid orange LED light when i put my phone on charge and my computer doesnt recognise it when i plug it into it? I cant contact my service provider ( o2 ) because i void the warrenty when i rooted. HELP?
Full charge your phone, unplug it and try again.
My phone used to do a really annoying thing when it ran out of batteries. The next time I went to turn it on I had to hold the power button for about 20 seconds. After the first 5 seconds, the soft-keys would start to flash. They continue to flash as you hold the power button. Then, after a while they stop flashing and the phone boots up. Like I said, it takes a while. Just keep holding the power button if you see the soft-keys flashing.
That doesn't seem to be a problem now that I'm on Beanstalk 4.4.

Red flashing but cant turn on??

Hi, I have a Sony Experia Z3. Great phone Was loving it. However I woke up this morning To a frozen screen. The screen then went blank and I now can't seem to charge it or turn it on. I have tried all kinds of resets but nothing seems to work any ideas??
Please??
try this first -
a. plug your charger into a wall socket
b. connect your phone & leave it for a few minutes
c. hold the power button and the volume button down together for at least 1 minute
d. expect to see a red LED/no charge indicator
e. release both buttons
f. push volume up
g. expect to see an empty battery graphic onscreen
h. now press the power button and it should charge normally
Also try connecting via the magnetic charge port. That usually fixes mine when it won't turn on
Try a few hours charging (maybe a battery issue) and try turning it on or just exchange if that fails. A similar issue on my HTC One X was due to a motherboard failure, eventually it would not turn on at all and had to get mobo replaced.

N5 wont turn on- does not react to power/volume combos

Hey Guys,
sadly my Nexus 5 suddenly turned off and wont turn on again. When not connected to the charger it does not react to any button combinations. When connected it loops the google screen (the first one you see on boot, that shows whether phone is unlocked or not), but reacts to button combos, but still reboots into the loop immediately. The phone is charged and runs the latest cm13 snapshot.
Hope you guys can help!
Thanks and greetings from germany
Could be a power button problem.
Try gently tapping the power button against the edge of table to see if you can "unstick" it. If that doesn't work, open the phone and clean around the button.
Final solution may be to replace the power button.

phone wont turn on and unresponsive ,please help

Hi
I have a u11.
last week while i was working with my phone suddenly it hanged and i tried to soft reset.

i tried a lot of methods with power and volume buttons but they didnt work.

thanks
same problems
wait for helps
Hi,
I had the exact same problem:
HTC U11 just dropped dead in the middle of a phone call
- Would not turn on again.
- Would not soft-reset (pressing volumeLow + Power button for 10 secs makes the phone vibrate and the screen backlight turn on but the screen remains black).
- Would not charge (screen stays black).
- When connected to a Win10 PC via USB, it is detected as 'qusb_bulk' but no drive is shown
SOLUTION:
I removed the Sim card (not sure if this is even necessary).
Then I opened the phone (see tutorials on youtube etc) and disconnected the battery, then pressed the Power-button (just to make sure the remaining energy is drained). Then reconnect the battery and: it turns on just fine!
