Welcome
Please READ here: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/
Locate your device and then check the section you need
Good luck,
Voda V2
My phone is not listed there, any other suggestions?
stating your phone model would most likely help

The numbers or anything that I have is Voda V2 SZR248
Your device isn't even a Windows Mobile device is it? What operating system is on that thing? I googled it and it looks like it is a IPhone Wannabee.

Here is part of them. I found this at ATT forum for you. They have them all...These also can be found in various places on this forum but your phone is not one that is built by HTC as far as we can tell so I don't know specifically where to access these settings but I used them in my unlocked moto razr and they work.

Hi there, i've just recently bought an HTC Fuze and just put on NATF v4 for fuze (IT'S GREAT!! Got rid of the AT&T stuff that i don't want and everything is just better!!). I'm on a FIDO Network and I can't seem to get my internet/3G to work. it works fine if it's on wi-fi or when plugged in but once i take it out, it doesn't work.
i even tried different configuring things:
name: FidoWAP
APN: wap.fido.ca
user: fido
pass: fido
&
name: FidoINT
APN: internet.fido.ca
user: fido
pass: fido
I've searched the forums and google for same issues but i can't find any. i'm starting to think it's just me who has this problem. i'm not very familiar with this phone or settings and i'm actually pretty happy that i got to flash the rom considering i'm pretty noob at this stuff. Please Help!
Leave the username and password blank. Thats how it works for me!
I had some trouble initially too. There may be various configurations that work (no username/password/domain etc.) but here are the settings I am using successfully: (Hopefully this is everything I did! )
Name: whatever
Modem: Cellular Line (GPRS, 3G)
APN: internet.fido.ca
Username: fido
Password: fido
Domain: 205.151.011.011 (note the zeros)
Advanced: No changes
in MMS Options
Gateway: 205.151.11.13 (note the lack of zeros)
Port: 8080
Server Address: http://mms.fido.ca
Also, make sure to run the disable proxy cab. This will get most things working.
To get Opera working I had to uninstall the version that NATF included and install the latest version I could find.
I haven't been able to test the caller id fix yet (it is supposed to be confirmed working and already included in the ROM), and I have had no success in getting rid of the roaming icon, but other than that it seems everything is up and running.

I've been using this setup for a while now. However, I find my download speed very slow (130kb/s) compare to my friend Iphone, which he got over 300kb/s.
Can anyone tell me what's the top speed you got on your Fuze/Touch Pro?
I use this link to check my speed: http://dslreports.com/mspeed?jisok=1&more=1
I just got 998kb/s and my reception is pretty spotty inside. Tried a second time and got 1338.

are you on Fido?
What's the Icon you have? 3G, E or H?
Also man, if you're connecting through USB, then of course you'll get that speed. I'm talking about using Fido service without USB, like on the street.

I'm on Fido with H. Of course not through USB. Just tried at home where my signal strength is much better (not that it actually matters) and got 382 and 472.
Note: I'm using Opera 15613 and Radio 1.11.25.01

ok the sim unlocker worked!! but i have a problem... 2 actually
#1 i used a prepaid tmobile sim and i talk an text but i cant use internet, i dont think when i select the network im using that it downloads all the settings it needs so what or how do i set the internet to work? added info: the card has 3.00 left on it i dont know if i should get a talk text and web plan on the sim and maybe thats it, i dont know. also i tried ATT sim and all the network settings downloaded and everything worked, the only thing is that card was a regular sim not prepaid with talk text and web on it. so i dont know if it matters.
#2 i used the unlocker and in step 3 i didnt do the cid unlocker i only did sim, and security unlocker. is there a way i can cid unlock without doing the whole 3 step program again?
You need to ask your carrier or google the data settings because the phone does not download them

Where do I go about entering this information?
I'm going from a T-Mo dash 3G to this flashed and unlocked Sprint TP2. I have the voice and text working, but not anything DATA related.
Direction is appreciated, thank you
actually all u do is call tmobile and tell em u switched to a tp2 and they will configure it for u. thats all i did and everything worked after that
I just called them
The gent who I spoke to said it should take effect within 2-48 hours.
It made me curious, so I asked him if he punched any provision or if it just "happens" over time. He said the latter, said to call back in 3 days if no luck so we can manually punch it in.
I'm too impatient to wait for t-mobile
Thanks for the tip though I appreciate it. Anyone else?
settings
it will generally take effect within the 2 hours or sooner in most cases. if it dont just call back and ask tech support to do it manually with u. mine was in 10 mins

Did you keep power cycling it? Or did you just let it do its thing normally?
I keep doing a power cycle since that's what the CSR Recommended, and now when I log on to the browser, it flashes a G instead of the E for a split second, but then I get the "Cannot Connect, dialed #777" error
Am I getting close?
Hi, I'm way in over my head here and sure could use some help!
I have Galaxy S2 SkyRocket i727, gingerbread 2.3.5 that I purchased off Ebay. Great phone unfortunitly my carrier dosen't sell or support this phone. They only carried a couple smart phone choices that really wasn't much of an option so I just took their free phone hoping I could just insert my Consumer Celluar Sim into the Galaxy. Everything works fine except, no 3G data connection. I have one of the "Connect" dataplans CC offers but am unable to set the correct APN setting on this phone.
The stock AT&T rom apn setting do not allow me to enter some of settings for CC like Proxy Push.
These are CC web apn configuration settings
Name: Web
Proxy Push: Enabled
Authentication Type: Secure
GPRS access point: att.mvno
Homepage: mmsc.cingular.com
I'm wondering if I root the phone and flash a custom rom would that allow me to enter the correct APN configuration settings? Is anyone aware of a custom rom out there that would do this or have any other solutions?
Leon
I think once you're rooted and flash a custom rom on, you'll be able to enter the APN's manually. I have the skyrocket and flashed DJ ICS Plus V2.0, wickid rom btw, and I'm using it on straight talk. It allowed me to put the APN's in manually while deleting the previous APN's already on the phone.
Thanks Pak, I'll give it a try and see what happens.
Custom Rom for Galaxy S2 SkyRocket
I flashed the new ROM DJ ICS Plus V2.0 but am still not seeing how I can change the APN setting to work with my carrier Consumer Cellular.
The carrier data setting need to be
Name: US - Consumer Cellular Web
APN: att.mvno
Proxy: Enabled
MMS Protocol: WAP 2.0
Authentication Type: PAP
APN Type: default, supl
In the S2 Access Point Setting there isn't a field to enter Protocol and no "supl" APN choice. Also if you don't include 310 in the MCC field and 410 in the MNC field you can't save the Access Point settings at all.
In regards to MMS Protocol, I'm assuming the rom has it already preloaded to WAP 2.0 or something since thats what I needed it to be anyways so I didnt have to enter anything. For APN type, I selected "internet" for my data and when I had another APN set up for my mms, I just selected "mms". In regards to MCC and MNC, you should be able to enter the 310 and 410. It shows up on mine.
Your right about WAP already being configured because email and other connections work. Messaging works too, just not data. I tried internet and internet & mms options for the APN Type but neither worked. I also tried inputing the server name of mmsc.cingular.com as suggested on their web site for non-Consumer Cellular phones but no luck with that either.
I had to leave 310 MCC and 410 MNC values in those fields because it would not save the Access Point if left blank or with any other values input.
the link below probably wont be much help but he had his proxy set up as proxy.mvno.ccmobileweb.com, maybe that will make a difference?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=904249
I had seen this site before also, tried it but no luck either. I must be missing something altogether here. You wouldn't think this would be such a difficult problem to solve.
dude I don't know, I know you probably did this but did you put "http://mmsc.cingular.com" instead of "mmsc.cingular.com"? I dont know if the http in front will do anything.
These guys below say you can only get data using EDGE, not while 3G is turned on (mind you its an iphone). Maybe turn off your 3G and see if it picks it up?

Unlockit.co.nz was no help either?

Is your SIM card designed to handle 3G data connections? Not all SIMs are created equal, after all. Granted, you'd think that recently-made SIMs would support 3G, but you're not always going to be so lucky. I know this was a major issue once upon a time when 3G networks started to roll out more consistently and not everyone had a 3G-capable SIM.
In other words, has this SIM been able to talk to 3G networks before? Or is this the first phone you've put this SIM card in that has 3G?
If your SIM doesn't support 3G, ask your provider for a 3G-enabled replacement SIM.
Hey there,
I purchased a Lebara pay as you go SIM card yesterday in the UK to use during my holidays.
I created an internet profile with the details from http://lebara.co.uk/settings
However, while calls and texts work fine, no internet connection can be established.
At the Lebara customer service hotline they told me that the galaxy nexus was not in their list of supported devices and that therefore they could not help me.
Does anyone here know a workaround to set mobile internet up for lebara UK? I cannot believe that there is no way to do this.
Any help will be highly appreciated!
Cheers

If you have set up the APN information as for any other Android device then you should be fine. They don't know (or care) what you are connecting with. I know it's probably not easy, but your best bet would be to try the Lebara SIM with the same APN settings in a different Android phone and see if they work.
As another thought - what connection are you getting on your Nexus? Does it definitely support the correct 3G frequency that Lebara uses?
Hey there,
after having fiddled around with the settings for quite some time, I managed to make it work.
For future reference, this is the profile that did the trick (it differs from the one given at the lebara website):
Name : Lebara internet
APN : uk.lebara.mobi
Proxy : Not Set
Port : Not Set
Username : web
Password : web
Server : Not Set
MMSC : http://mms.lebara.co.uk/servlets/mms
MMS Proxy : 212.183.137.012
MMS Port : 8799
MCC : 234
MNC : 15
Authentication type : < Not Set >
APN Type : default,supl,mms
APN Protocol : IPv4
Bearer : Unspecified
3G speed is very decent!
Cheers

Hi I just got lycamobile in london, and Id like to tether using a samsung focus from 2011 that I bought in the USA.
Well Ive been tethering using vodaphone in London but recently changed to lycamobile, I know lycamobile allows tethering, but I need to know the settings for the dial up connection that I need to setup on windows (PC), in order for me to tether using a USB.
Vodaphone details for the connection are:
phone number: *99***#
username: wap
password: wap
NOW ID LIKE TO KNOW THESE SAME DETAILS FOR LYCAMOBILE, THANKS A LOT.
Hi,
I guess I've got almost the same problem except I want to use my GS4 as USB Modem.
I recently moved to London, I've got a GS4, classic ROM at the moment, just took a Lycamobile Bundle, 3Gb Data and configured my APN as follow:
Name: lycamobile
APN: data.lycamobile.co.uk
username: lmuk
password: plus
MMC 234
MMC: 26
Authentication type: PAP
APN type: default,*
Roaming is on and wifi is off.
When I connect to my Windows 7, it detects the new NDIS but says there's not internet access, the windows diagnostic didn't help at all, it says everything is ok.
Lycamobile doesn't help for other devices than mobiles.
The reason why I'm asking here for someone tell me what could be wrong or if you resoved yours and can point me to what to do ?
Thanks,
-Fred

WAS working here and then, stopped working (DE, although the network config is probably similar).
Have yet to figure out what it is.

DNS resolution is working, but data doesn't pass. The client gets an IP then nothing. It will be investigated further.
If other people can offer updates, please post them.

Have you guys figured this one out? I have exactly the same problem, but with Lycamobule netherlands.
Hi, I am having the same problem here with LycaMobile in the UK, I tried to tether but to no luck at all, having the same situation in what DoubleFX is having.
It seems their tethering detection system is hot on it and knows somehow that ANY other device is trying to connect through to the internet.
Same problem here in Portugal. Anyone was able to tether with success in lycamobile sim? Thanks
http://kenstechtips.com/index.php/tethering-on-uk-networks
Lycamobile doesn’t allow tethering on their network. The terms and conditions pertaining to tethering can be seen on the Lycamobile bundles page (scroll to the bottom and click the small link saying ‘Terms and Conditions’):
The offer is for non-commercial, private, personal use only – Lycamobile reserves the right to withdraw or suspend the offer or to disconnect you if we suspect that offer is being used for commercial purposes, for conferencing, or if it is not being used in a handset (in a SIM box for example), if it is being used for tethering or if any reason Lycamobile reasonably suspects that you are not acting in accordance with this policy where we consider that the usage was illegitimate.

One can tether but the client phone must be rooted, you need to download TTL application from the playstore in case of Android, dont know if there is a similar app on IOS, and on PC you ll need to change TTL setting on the PC (google how to do that).
Change TTL value from 64 to 65
Thats all
start hotspot on the Lycamobile phone and on the recieving phone or pc change TTL TO 65
