Getting spares for Vox In Kolkata, India - HTC Vox

Hi,
Can anyone inform me where I can get spares for Vox (basically I am looking for Extended battery).
BTW I do not know if it is the right place to post this thread

No chance. You cannot even get the regular battery of Vox anywhere in Kolkata. Its only available usually at HTC service centre but presently they are also running out of stock.
The only option to buy is online.

So much for being in the largest upcoming mob market. , guess I will have to get the way you have advised. Thanks for the super fast answer. BTW can you suggest any site (s)?
Thanks in advance

you can get the battery from the hong kong based manufacturer cameron sino.
i had my battery replaced at the HTC service center last week.
There is no shortage as such.
cameron sino has 2 batteries for Vox.
1100maH and 2250 maH

Cameron Sino site not loading. You can also get the same batteries here.

Prajith, I need battery for my HTC S710. I checked with nearby HTC Service centre in NCR Delhi. Its not available right now. They told cost 1300 INR approx.
Which option is better? To go for online purchase from megacapcity OR cameron sino OR to buy from HTC service centre only.
How about 2250mAh battery with extended cover? does it look odd or not comfortable? How about performance?

I recd my 1100mah battery from "megacapacity" in 16 days. It is working well and giving me 1.5 days for normal usage with lefab clean 1.2 ROM.

The OP e-mailed me since I have 2 2250mAH batteries I am looking to sell, never got back to me unfortunately. I packaged them all up for him, just waiting for payment.

The problem is I have a ICICI bank Debit card and that f***ing card can not be used in Paypal or for that matter for any online transaction (even though they claim its an international debit card) . If you have a postal address, then I will be more than happy to send you draft in that address. I am really sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.

E-mail is on it's way. No worries about it, boss.

h4waii
Its true i mailed you for the battery. After a couple of nails from both sides you just said that you are getting more in ebay than what i have offered and you will revert back if it is not sold through ebay. So no question of packing and waiting for my payment.

1100mAh battery for Diamond

I've just seen a 1100mAh battery for the Diamond available in a spanish online shop, with the same size as stock battery (so no new back cover included) and was thinking about getting one to use as principal and have the original 900mAh battery as backup.
Has anyone tried these batteries? is it worth the price (25€) for 200mAh extra?
Well, how about the link buddy??
This is what a lot of people have been waiting for such as myself, who are not willing to compromise the slim form factor of the diamond....
Seidio are going to do them, but I just checked their site again and they still dont have it (despite me getting an email from them this morning saying they did)
So what site did you see?
i think its again an online shop advertising the pharos stock battery as diamond compatible, but it isnt!
I called o2 germany support a few days ago and they told me to wait until august because they are going to release a new battery for the diamond. But I don't know anything about capacity or size of that one.
thats the known battery extension pack (1340mah with new back) modded for the xda

Sorry guys

Universal shutting down earlier and earlier

Hello everybody! I love my Qtek 9000 for many reasons, but the thing I hate the most is the battery. I tried different ROMs (Ranju's, Tomal's etc) and I'm using now the Shiva310.
My ppc never shut down with battery less than 10%...NEVER! But now it's impossible to use it, because it ends at 70%! With the previous it ended at about 50%.
Anybody knows why? I've paid attention to flash when I had full charged battery (Green LED).
Hi,
I have similar problem in past. I have sent my universal to technical assistance too, for more security. But my suspect are right, was the battery. After I have changed the battery, the problem solved.
Regards
Had the same problem - only one solution was/is available, as to my knowledge, to change the battery
Hi
Change your battery. It will solve the problem. I had the same problem and I solved it that way.
Thank you all for your answers. I tried to resurrect my battery with this thread (Solution 2: Recalibrate the battery) and tonight I'll try to put in the freezer. Then I'll reflash the ROM again to understand if the ROM version matters.
I'll came back in this thread to show the results. Bye!
You are only $29USD away form a new battery, so I´ll recommend you to try that option.
Good luck
I saw prices like that in a site but I don't know how much will the shipping cost! I'm in Italy and the International rate are not much friendly...
Aren't there cheaper batterys on eBay? or are they of lower quality? I've been thinking of bying an extended battery (3000+ mhA) before I placed my uni up for sale.
Should one buy batteries from eBay? if so does anyone know of a reliable seller?

Ersil: I'm obviously a new member and I'm not familiar with a lot on this forum but can you please tell me, if you are from Itali how come you have FIDO.CA as a mobile service provider, isn't it only a Canadian mobile company? I've noticed this a lot on other profiles; I've just always thought that Fido is strictly a Canadian company.

I'll check on eBay, but I don't like it much in this time, it's becoming too expensive.

Oh! So it's the mob company! I didn't know that! I think that it's the default, I'll set my operator: WIND.
2 Batteries (seems the standard ones) and a charger 22,8 Australian Dollar (about 13.27€) from an Honk Kong ebayer.
Do you think I can trust him?

The seller seems legitimate, and with almost 40,000 sales at %99.3 positive I would trust him. I also checked his reviews and most buyers seem to be very happy with their purchase, the only negatives were due to slow shipping and wrong parts but at %99.3 you can't go wrong.
My only concern is with the battery itself; would it hold long enough of a charge to match the original battery’s life.
I bough a couple batteries for my Kodak camera and neither of them hold the charge as long as my original does.
I hope this helped.

I know that it's not the best solution, but if you buy a Mugen 2600 mAh battery, it comes with it's own cover (due to the extra thickness)...
Best Regards
yea i have just ordered one from here http://www.mugen-power-batteries.com/toshiba/toshiba-tg01.html it has been shipped today i have heard very good feedback from this particular battrey.I hope that it lives up to its expectations and the hype one user said he got 4 days out of it with heavy use i find this hard to believe but we will see.If anyone has expiriences with this battrey over longterm use please tell us your story and rate the 2600mah battrey thanks.
I have the same problem, I already wrote directly to Toshiba, and wrote off that I can not help it, never want toshiba, what is too mobile to which the cap can not be bought anywhere
I just spoke to the Toshiba UK customer care team and they said they would send me one free of charge. My original is pretty clean but has a tiny hairline crack in one corner. Toshiba UK are absolutely fantastic and very helpful

I had the same problem for months, I found dead TG01 on allegro, talked with seller and bought it for 40 zł.
I think you can talk with someone here to order one (or two) and send it to you, it can be sent in a normal letter so you won't pay much for it.
If you find someone who is willing to help (and would be able to get two covers), please notify me (through PM) I would also be interested in getting one so we can split shipping costs (50:50).
Well my brand new back cover turned up today free of charge and as a bonus a brand new 8GB micro SD card was included free of charge, as I mentioned that my original Toshiba card was very slow to load files onto. Toshiba UK are absolute stars in my opinion

Μaybe its better to ask for a refund, the lost parcels from HK are not a rare phenomenon...after all they re in transit for like 1 month.
I ordered 2 times from obostore, got exactly what i paid for both times.
If obostore refuses to refund, let us know, but mostly let paypal know. They will refund you if obostore won't

I bought Desire HD 1800mAh battery, hard leather casing & cover from OBOstore.
Delivery took more than 2 weeks, so far so good.
There is one time helping my friend buy Samsung Galaxy Tab casings, took almost a month, feedback to them, they told me whether I wanted to refund?
Yes. They refund the full money to my paypal account and just request me to accept. I got my refund next working day.
OBOstore, I opinion . . Is a very good online store, moreover all product genuine and cheep.

Never used them, but out of curiosity I went to their site, and read that when they ship an order, they also send an email confirming the shipment which includes a Tracking Number with links.
Did you use the tracking number to find the whereabouts of your order?
Take Care

Bear in mind, when I said that Genine 1800mAh battery is refer to the Brand Andida NOT original hTC battery performance wise, quite okay and had over lasting compared to hTC 1230mAh.
Get yourself one, you'll know.

I mean to say that the battery is not genuinely 1800 mah and its real capacity is far less:

If you get good battery life out of it then that is fine, but it is false advertising.

Ya, quite true.
I used it as spare battery, last slightly longer than stock battery, compared pricing cheap with charger. Life span should be shorter than stock battery.
I have positive experiences but you can find cheeper eshops and with faster delivery
