I've tried the method described here but with no luck:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=364978
Step One Uninstall your TCPMP and Flashbundle player. Yes you have to install TCPMP and Flashbundle all over. I read you had to do this or else it wont work properly.
Step Two Install TCPMP (a media player that is used to play many files. For example youtube videos ). When you install it chose to install it to your SD card.
Step Three Copy the NEW Flashbundle cab (the one I provided) to the program folder that was created for TCPMP on your SD card
Step Four Once you copied the Flashbundle Cab to the TCPMP folder run the Flashbundle Cab from there and chose to install it to the SD card instead of local memory.
Step FiveSoft Reset
Has anyone here tried to get TCPMP and FVB working with the Epix? I would've liked to post this in the Epix discussion, but I could not find the Epix on the front page.

TCPMP playback issues on WM6 using WMA/WMV format files can be solved as follow:
After I installed WM6 on my universal, I noticed that when you try and play a wma/wmv file with tcpmp it gives you an error that some codec's missing..
Because it worked flawlessly on WM5, I started digging a bit and found that WM5's codec files "names" has changed in WM6, thus making it unable for tcpmp to find the wm* codec files.
All you need to do is: (DO NOT OVERWRITE ANY FILES ON YOUR WM6 DEVICE)
Step1: Find the following 2 files in your "\windows\" (WM6 devices) directory: "wma9prodecoder.dll" & "wmv9decoder.dll" and copy them onto your local pc.
Step2: Rename the copied files as follows: From "wmv9decoder.dll" to "wmvdecoder.dll" & From "wma9prodecoder.dll" to "wmadecoder.dll" .
Step3: Copy the renamed files onto your device in the "\windows\" folder.
Enjoy.....
Could you upload that two files?
I found that it dose not allowed me to copy that to any other folder.

Just had this same issue with my Tilt, and this fixed it - thanks! (good old search on XDA-developers!)
Found that trying to rename or copy the files wasn't allowed, using Resco Explorer, so I got the 2 files above that galt points to, and copied them into Windows.
Now I can stream www.thestreamcenter.com/pda again! (It used to work using WMP before I installed TCPMP, but once TCPMP was installed, it became the default and always starts up when I click on a site in IE. I don't know how, or if, you can stop TCPMP from jumping in - if I could just let WMP handle these particular streams that would have been fine, but I don't see an option in TCPMP to give up trying to handle them.)
i am currently using these codecs, and the WMA works flawlessley, however, the WMV has rather choppy playback, is there a way around this?
thanks in advance
Thank you for this!
these worked great thx!!!
and to get them to play less choppy choose video quality and use low or lowest - low usually works better - it aint great quality but its smooth at least!!
thx for the help!!!!
Hi I am new to this and need some advice.
For 3 days I have tried to install the TF3D config file on my T-Mob MDA Compact IV
ROM Version 1.37.110.3 dated from June 2008
I have saved the config tool to my PC.
I copy the folder that contains several files.
I open active sync and browse to a desired destination and paste the folder.
On the phone I browse via the explorer to the pasted folder
I see the one called setup and try to install this and it keeps launchng the web n walk opera browser.
Is that right? Do I need to do something else?
It doesnt seem to install the config tool.
I have tried opening the files ending in 001 002, 003 etc and removing or adding back the tweak.
I have even updated to framework 3.5
Is there something I am missing? I've read pages and pages on the internet, watched vids from you tube and I cant get why its not happening for me.
I have tried installing in to the root, on the internal store, in windows and that makes no difference
I then tried copying flashplayer for ppc and though none of those files are associated to the opera browser, I cant run them either as the phone thinks they are unassociated files. It doesn't see them as a cab.
All I want to do is install a theme for touchflow.
However msi installs work fine.
Has T-mobile locked down the ability to install cab files?
Please help I am out of ideas
ahhhhhhh haaaaaa
OK I found the problem
I unzipped the file on my PC and cpoied the unzipped files over.
That was totally wrong I see now.
I should have copied the zipped file on to the PPC and opened it on the device
Thanks
Hey guys. I've got the following problem:
If i try to open some .mp3 files the WMP says:
"Cannot play the file. The file is either corrupted or the player does not support the format you are trying to play." but they aren't neither corrupt nor not supported: They work fin on my PC and it's no problem for WMP to play other .mp3 files. The MortPlayer can play the files without any problems.
I tried this: http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;en-us;889762&x=10&y=13
But the files aren't even show in my libary.
Could anyone plz help me? I want to use S2P
I'm using the newst Onyx-Rom Wm 6.5.
THX!
Hi all
Can I ask if it is possible to install cab applications directly on HD2 itself by downloading cab files from sites surfing on Opera/IE on HD2?
Thanks!
Yes, just make sure the extension is .CAB
After download, the browser will ask if you like to run it, just tap Yes to install.
TIP
if you have downloaded the cab file and it installs by itself (after you click yes), make sure to move that cab file to your storage card.
Or better, download straight to your storage card.
This way, when you reset your phone (hardreset) you
get all your apps back in just a few minutes
Asus Transformer tf300tg
Android 4.0.3 ICS.
I can not play html and swf files. I'm following video tutorials in the above mentioned extensions,
about html:
open as exp "example.html" stored on my SD Card
try to open by the default File Manager or ES File Explorer, i got error message, i need flash player and enable java. Flash player 11 is correctly installed, java enabled on my browser. How can i try to open "example.html" by default browser or crome? Open file from file manager, it prompts me with 2 options: the html reader that comes with ES File Explorer or Html Reader, an app that i installed from google play but, as i said before, i get error message that ask for flash and java, what i have to write on google bar to point the browser
to open "example.html" for example "sdcard/example.html " can you tell me the correct path and how to solve the matter?
about swf file,
I bought SWF Player from google play but still not able to read swf.
As exp "example.swf" stored in my SD Card
Open by file manager, it promp me with several options, open with: My Gallery (app installed by default for video and pictures) MX Player, both solutions give me error message: "failed to open file" when i try to open "example.swf" by fle manager i dont get SWF Player in the options only My Gallery and MX Player.
Try to lunch SWF Player it dont see the sd card even if it is properly installed and works fine.
Can you help me please?
Thank a lot!
That's how I got "Playing SWF Files" working on a 4.0.4 MID
Installed
1) Smart SWF Player - by SIMPLELIFE (https://play.google.com/store/search?q=smartswf+player)
2) Adobe FlashPlayer Plugin 11.1.11.1.115.17 (com.adobe.flashplayer-111115017.apk, don't remember where I downloaded it from)
HTH
Like what jwoegerbauer said,
But do install the adobe flash player first before you install the apps
Otherwise it wont work. When opening the swf file, u still see white screen first as its loading the file (at least this is what i experiencing)
then the rest is enjoy time
Use SWF player
Use Swf player from issess. If it doesn't work check whether Adobe Flash Player is installed. If it can't open SD card , change the default directory option in settings to the path of your SD card(or to any other valid location).
It is good for playing games as it features a customizable keyboard for game controls.
It works in many devices where Smart SWF failed. Another alternative is Flash Game Player. But, it is outdated and no longer available in play store( i suspect it is still in the market with as a renamed and improved version). If you wish you could download it from it's XDA thread.
