I have a very weird problem.
I have Airtel (India) simcard which I have been using for a long time.
Suddenly this morning it has stopped working. It works on other handsets.
I have tried other simcards, from different networks, and it works.
I asked for a replacement sim card, and that doesnt work either!
What could be the problem?

Ive had my fuze for about a week now and i was browsing XDA on my phone when all of a sudden i just lost service.. I had full 3g signal and everything was fine. Ive hard reset, turned it off / on all this stuff and it didnt work so i finally just swapped sims out and that sim worked fine. So im guessin its just my sim card idk what would have caused that ?
My SIM card is not being recognized by my fuze. I am currently using (at least trying to) Tael's latest ROM but I have reflashed with several other ROMs.
It is there just fine and it works with my other phone. With my fuze, it just always says "SIM missing".
Is this happening to anyone else?

Do you have access to another sim that is known to work? That way you can see if it is your reader or just the sim card and phone not liking eachother.. I has that happen once on a previous phone.. the sim card worked in it for over a year.. then one day phone said the sim was not in it... I tried the sim in another phone and it worked fine.... and my buddies sim still worked in mine.. I went to my carrier and they swapped me a new sim for free and I was fine ever since...
So my Vodafone SIM gets detected when inserted but doesnt connect to network.
On searching networks it doesn't show up either.
Weird facts:
My SIM works fine on my Nexus 4 and other Nexus 5 (only 1 I've tested on)
Other SIMs work fine on my Nexus 5.
Tried various ROMs and radios, but same result.
Another weird fact:
Once on roaming I had connected the SIM to my N5 and the moment I left my state it got connected to network and as entered back it stopped again.
SIM has been replaced, Vodafone blames the phone and I don't know what else to try out.
Any thoughts?

Try changing the networktype trough *#*#4636#*#* , maybe that helps , i'm on GSM only for the moment because of dropping signals

In settings can you see your IMEI number ? if you don't (like mine showing 0) you never get any signal , you've got to send it back, it's bricked then...

IMEI is good, its works fine on other SIMs and mine works fine on other phones too as mentioned in OP.
What's your current network mode in *#*#4636#*#*? Try any of the modes but CDMA (WCDMA is fine).
Hi all. I have been using this 920I Singapore (bought fr starhub but on singtel network) for abt 2 mths already with everything working fine until abt a week ago. The SIM would become undetected forcing me to restart the phone. I repeated the process multiple times until today, when the phone no longer detects the SIM card, rendering the phone unable to call n text
What could be causing this? Anyone with similar problems and/or fixes? Thanks
Try a new SIM? Could be faulty...

Hi all..
i am using rooted moto g with cm13.
my phone was working fine.
Suddenly my 1st sim is not working.
in dual sim card setting , it is showing the network name but no service is available is coming.
I checked with cell phone service center, they told sim tray is fine. it might be software problem.
do u have any solutions ?
