Navigation touch circle - Touch Pro, Fuze General

Hi, I just got my TP but I have encountered a problem with the navigation control which supposed to be touch sensitive. I have tried to zoom in and zoom out sliding my finger clockwise and counterclockwise around the circle but it's not working. It doesn't work in opera, photoalbum, messages. Am I doing something wrong or is it hardware problem and I should get a replacement??

When I first got my TP, I ran into the same problem. Make sure that you're not using your finger ON the circle, but just outside of it on the flat part. That entire bottom piece with the 4 buttons is actually a touch pad as well. So you'll run your finger just outside of the circle, and not on the circle itself.
Hope this helps.
Kevin

I have slided outside the circle just like the manual says but still no luck

HTC Action Screen & Screen Alignment

Can somebody help me please, I tried installing a cab of the HTC Action Screen app from the touch dual on my Herald, after installing I noticed that the top right corner of my screen was not responding to my stylus taps. tried realigning the screen still no joy.
So I uninstalled the app but I still have the screen alignment issue, is there anyway to fix this without a hard reset?
sorry if this is posted in the wrong section as I didnt know if this was just a herald problem or if everybody had this problem?

It could be an old issue with a new device. Back in the day of PPC's it was found that some screen protectors slid under the case of the touch screen causing the screen to not respond appropriately. If you have recently put on a new screen protector or removed one, check the area just beyond the location where it is not responding. You might find something holding the screen down permenantly causing it to not respond. If there is nothing there and none of the things are present, I too am at a loss.
Just an idea.
Did you try a soft reset to remove the remnants of the application you removed?
@Just about right
Dont think it is the screen protector as I have had the same one on since I bought the device (almost a year now) without any problems.
@wovens
yep tried that
Ineterestingly if I open notes and tap the screen I get a dot in the right place, if I tap the top right corner it draws a vertical line downwards from the top right to the bottom. In the meantime what I have done is run the screen alignment, placed the styles in the middle of all '+' except the one in the top right corner. For the one in the top right corner I aimed a little lower than the centre, this allows me to click the X in the top right with the stylus if I aim above the box. not ideal but it will do for now as I dont have the time to reset this week...

[Q] browser quick menu and keyboard dock

how are people using the quick menu with the track pad.two ouches brings up the quick menu option brings up the mnu but i cant access it as soon as you remove a touch it disappears
sent from my LEE Pad Transformer........I wish
Do you mean tap-and-hold context menu, or menu in top right corner, or what?
(though all of those work fine for me w/dock)
I mean the quick menu when you touch side of screen and get the half moon menu
sent from my LEE Pad Transformer........I wish
i don't have the dock but I assume it is the same as without. You slide your finger over what ever function you want. Ex back button... it will highlight blue than release your finger and it will register.
Hope that helps
You move your cursor to the screen edge and do a hard click, the quick menu will appear just like you touch the screen edge.
Hope that helps
Its not exactly far to reach out and grab it though.. I actually think its kinda nice having a netbook form factor with a touch screen.. I'm gonna look weird at work when I use my normal laptop and try accessing stuff by touching its screen after this

Asus eee pad touchscreen multitouch lock problem

Hi,
I have recently had a problem with the touchscreen. If you were to swipe your finger a lot over the screen (for example playing fruit ninja) you would be unable to use any of the bottom buttons (like the home button)
I did a little investigation work with the app 'touch test' and I have found what is happening. If you did the swiping action the first finger touch (finger one represented on blue by the app) would lock. If you were to swipe your finger again across the screen it wouldn't registered as the first finger touch, but the second. The bottom bar navigation buttons only respond to the first finger touch.
Sorry if that was confusing in short: The tf screen thinks a finger is touching the screen when it is not, and any finger that touches the screen after that would be represented as another multitouch.
As far as I see there is only one solution: Hit the power button to make it sleep and then wake it up.
I have noticed that their have been several other threads on this, none of the other users had any luck. Wiping the device doesn't help.
Has anyone else noticed this.
Thanks
Have you tried an anti-fingerprint screen protector? I'm wondering if skin grease is possibly the cause of this (I don't experience any such problems, although admittedly I don't play fruit ninja et al, and have a screen protector on).

I thought of that for a while. But when you put it into sleep and wake it up it's perfectly fine. Maybe doing that undoes all of the inputs. I'll try cleaning up the screen. I admittedly do have sweat hands

[Q] App/Mod to lock the bottom system bar?

So my Asus has an option where you can lock the bottom bar so you don't accidentally open the setting menu or press back during games/movies.
I want something similar for my Note10 as when using S-note my palm sometimes sits on the bar and opens the menu which is very annoying! This isn't a palm detection issue within the S-note app it's just a general Android tablet issue.
Anyone got any ideas?
Acctually, when your s-pen is hovering on your screen, your screen is automatically locked from your hand touch
correct me if I'm wrong
Dam you're right. I guess the issue happens when I lift the pen too high and still lean on it. Might need to adjust my writing style.

Question Lenovo P11 tablet, cannot draw curved lines when starting to draw

Hello,
I've recently bought a Lenovo P11 tablet to take notes. When drawing with a pen, however, I have this problem (and I have verified it by enabling touch detector in developer options): when I lay the pen/finger on the screen, there is an area (I would say 2-3 cm) where the cursor doesn't move even if I move the pen. When I exit that area, a line gets drawn between where I started and where I arrived, but this is wrong as I may have drawn curves in the middle of the two.
This leads to two things:
* When I want to draw something rounded (like a "2"), the upper part gets drawn as a line unless I draw it very big.
* When I want to draw something small, only a dot gets drawn because I didn't leave the "area" and therefore didn't trigger the cursor.
Now I am pretty sure this is a software problem, as if it were a problem with the screen this wouldn't happen only at the start of the line.
Also, I'm sure this is not because of the application I'm using (OneNote), as I've tested with the developer options to show the cursor and in any place in the OS, when I start drawing, the cursor is stuck at where I've begun.
Anyone can help?
Thanks.
