where to buy XDA II in DUBAI?

as my friend is going there in a month or so ... if anyone has got an experience whilst (shopping) in Dubai pls give me a shout
I do not know what is the price range I might expect and how the model available there compares to other clones available on other markets ??
is it i-mate ??
anything in particular I shall be aware when shopping in Dubai ?? :wink:

Emirates Computers are the authorized distributors for Qtek. XDA II is the same as Qtek 2020. It can be bought from Emirates Computers or from Carrefour (Hypermarket - previously known as Continent). During "Dubai Shopping Festival" (Jan 15 to Feb 15) there are many promotions on

one more thing, after looking through shops websites I realized prices are quite similar to those in US, roughly USD 850 for Qtek 2020 ... at least according to my calculations
I am curious what might be the prices within tax free zone at the airport

I bought my Imate in Dubai from the Computer Plaza in Bur Dubai at AED 2800 about 2 months ago. I believe that the price is down to about AED 2500-2600 or so which is about USD 670 to 700. Enjoy.

in German i don't see the Jamin on StreetShops. I see the XDA Neo and the Qtek s200. The price is between 400 and 500 Euro. But i don't live in Berlin. This is a big city and perhaps the choice can be bigger.

I bought it last month via the internet at 400 euro,
but I didn't order it by myself. A friend of mine in German bought it for me and when I arrived there, the shop send it to my hotel directly.
I just pay cash for it at the reservation desk and got my NEO!!!

395 euros is about the best price for ready stock SIM-free Neos from Internet shops like gethandy.de Considering that you can reclaim the 16% German sales tax when you leave the country you can have the Neo shipped to you in Berlin overnight, and still get a great price you won´t find in any shop.

hmm ... try getting it online. it will only cost you around 360-380€. it won't get over it.
if you try it on shop with sim free.. they will charge you at least around 450 euro if i am not wrong.

I got mine at ebay for 330€, new and with 2 Years of support from o2 !
So maybe it is worth it to look at ebay.de - Many people ship all across europe !

o2 warranty is just for first buyers. ppl who buy a 'used' (doesn matter if or not) cant send it to o2 if it has any issues. even if you have the original pay-off
