I've flashed muy s200 to this rom, 2006-10-05_Upgrade ROM_AKU2.3_lvsw, and there is a serious problem: when there is an incoming call, it crashs with the inesoft addressbook and my device hangs. Anyone knows why?
what radio rom does it now run? Im guessing 2.30.21
I recommend 2.20.21 only, any other rom is just unstable, normally because there ripped from some other device and then hacked to work on the prophet.
My radio rom is 2.19.21.
I'll try the radio rom 2.20.21.
Have you solved this radio problem ?
Please, explain me how you insert this ROM into the S200, I have same device and version os ROM.

Can't solve the incoming call problem .... just flashed back to 'RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_Ship-NoVendorID' rom.
This rom, 2006-10-05_Upgrade ROM_AKU2.3_lvsw, works almost perfectly. If I have 'Inesoft Addressbook' or 'Photo Contact Pro' installed in my phone, it gets crashed when there is an incoming call. But if I desactive the addressbook/photo contact pro, my phone can recieve incoming call without any problem. Anyone knows why is this happened??? Any solution???

OS build: Windows Mobile 6 AKU 0.4.4 Build 18128

I too would like to know what is different besides the versions. Not to say I'm not grateful, but I need to know my phone is going to work after a flash.

Okay I was able to extract the radio ROM and flashed to my HTC Kaiser. I had a problem in that while it connected to the network, all sound had been disabled with this version of the radio ROM, both from the earpiece and the speaker. Went back to 1.27.12.17 and sound came back.
I can only think the radio ROM also contains audio drivers, and this radio ROM isn't compatible with some Kaisers.

I'll try it. The initial radio has been horrible for me - with a 8525, I always live on a 3G connection with full signal strength. With the Tilt, I keep only two bars on 3G when I connect and I drop down to 1 bar Edge all of the time... The Edge connect is draining my battery fast...

I had the exact same problem... i am also using a cooked rom... but my data worked just fine...
Can anyone who flashes the whole rom let us know if it works?

I don't think there is any radio ROM that will suddenly give improved signal strength, you need a new aerial for that surely? The best it could is report the strength differently to make it appear better, or fix some bugs with certain networks.
If the Wiki here starts working again I will try and upload the radio Rom there.

I did try whole rom and its work fine and i try os only with old radio no sound
So what's on this rom? Is it the same as the AT&T but with a newer os and radio?

softreset is automatically.
no need of HARDRESET.

What's the purpose of upgrading the radio rom? Will it give my prophet 3G network compatibility or something? Do you mind writing just 1 line of the benefiits of upgrading for each of your ROMS? I find you have contributed a lot but I just dont understand it. I've read the wiki too. I'm still using default ROM 2.15 with WM5

Flashing a Radio ROM will upgrade the software used for call handling, bluetooth and WiFi. It will not give you any functionality like 3G, but may increase Reception, and reliability of other Radios. It may also alter battery life.
If it's working fine at the moment, there is no real need to upgrade.
I'm download this Radio Rom and hoping it'll cure my problem.
How do I flash this Radio ROM? Do I use the Wizard Service Tool V4? A amature question so please bare. Unless it has its own execution then disregard my question
I enter the phone into Bootloader and ran Radio ROM 2.19.21 which is what I had original and program indicate "Error [300]: Invalid Update Tool. This update utility cannot be used for your PDA phone. Please get a newer Update Utility."
So I tried other version and getting the same message. I'm very confused, plz help.

I simple use the Prophet Tools Light and it worked! everything back to normal!

Guys.. I understand that what the radio rom is for... Wifi, GSM, Bluetooth etc.. and that 2.19.21 is THE recommended 1.. but.. can someone please explain why? whats the difference between 2.19.21 and the latest 2.69.21 etc? If someone can post a brief guide on the pro's and con's of each radio rom then that would be great! Im particularly interested in a rom that gives the best wifi distance if anyone can recommend one? Also.. If I upgrade the radio rom will that affect my ability to access certain networks in in different countries? Im in South Africa would like to continue being able to use it in South Africa.. but would like longer wifi range if possible.. Thanx

I recommend it, because last time I test it. This RADIO ROM is more stabil and has aa good battery usage.
But If you think that 2.69.21 is suitable for you. You can use it too.

Thnx Varanusvincent.. so i take it that upgrading the radio rom wont have an effect on which countries I can use the phone in? See the last time I tried to flash a fone it ended up only being able to work in Canada! Oopz Dnt Ask! Hehe
Anyway, it just seems to me that the reason people create upgrades is to increase stability rather than decrease it and maybe provide new features.. I doubt that radio roms will provide new features.. but I am hoping for longer wifi range no matter what the battery drain may be.. so think i'll just take a chance this weekend and play around with the radio roms and see what happens then.. Anyone who has installed this, please post up your results as I've stuck with WM5 and would like to upgrade to the latest STABLE version. The problem I have with my Helmi 1.3.1 ROM is that sometimes ActiveSync will not connect (forcing a reboot first), and calls will not always receive (phone rings, I 'pick up', hangs for about 10 secs, then tells me I missed a call). Also sometimes when I place a call, I get a notification "Call cannot be completed." (when I have full reception) which is also quite annoying.
Is there a good way to flash the phone COMPLETELY to make sure that there are no leftovers from the previous? I know that this shouldn't be the case when flashing, however this Helmi ROM was working great, then I tried WM6 / WM6.1 out, didn't like them, and flashed back to the Helmi WM5. Now I am experiencing these issues that weren't there at all before WM6 was flashed to it.
Anyways, I have no time these days to install and test (which I REALLY want to), and I cannot be without a functional phone. Please post any mini-reviews of this ROM that you can if you've tried it.

It's in the "ROM_FILES" folder in the .zip file, named "nk.nbf", size 66,715,820 bytes.
Please let me know if ActiveSync (over Bluetooth) + WiFi works for you. Also, if anybody knows which radio ROM version is included, please let me know. I have 1.15.00 myself.
** EDIT ** Never mind about the Radio ROM ver. I believe it's 1.17.00 as stated in swat4's sig.

How to upgrade your ROM
Take a look at the subsections below that area if you run into any problems (- Error messages while upgrading and measures)
I'm running the ROM right now. Seems to be fully functional, very slim, and reliable at this moment. I had an o2 XDA Exec, but it wouldn't boot after flashing. If you do NOT have a T-Mobile MDA, this ROM might do the same thing for you (JasJar, Dopod 900, o2 XDA Exec, etc.). If this happens, read this thread for more information on how to edit this ROM before flashing it. Note that you'll need an original/official ROM update for your exact phone so you can read some parameters from it, then inject them back into this ROM.

Ive tried many of the new and wonderful roms here and i like them a lot but id like to go back to the original rom that came with my phone when i bought it.....is that what they call a radio rom? if anyone can point me to the original rom in English for the HTC HD 2 Id be very grateful.

You want a WWE rom. 1.48 is the newest I think. A radio rom is completely different just so you know. Its basically the software that interfaces between the phones radio functions (phone, wifi, bt etc) and the WM side.
That thread should have all the info you need
