AKU 3.2 for Prophet

I successfull install this rom for my prophet (m600). see pics.
The method is simple:
1.Download the AKU3.2 rom for wizzard.
2.follow the instrucion in this topic:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=56088
to create a rom for prophet.
BUT! create rom only from OS! DONT USE SPL or anything else from rom.
see picture what use and write in nb2nbf.exe!!!
3.and install the nk.nbf to the phone.
Need spl 2.xx!!!
the problems:
-camera doesnt work, because its for wizzard. it seems the other drivers works fine (tested wifi, ir, bt, gprs/edge)
-the left and the right softkey works inverse.

How about A2DP?
AKU 3.2 may contain A2DP. Have you had a chance to try this?

sorry. no A2DP. but in wizzard topic the guy who released this rom said they planning a small update with A2DP soon.

and also it should support WPA2... but just don't :'(
the only two feature I miss on my s200
I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeed WPA2 support in anyway!! if somebody knows how to do it.... I've already tried odyssey client but it doesn't seems to work with the s200... not there version one there website thow... :'(

Could you work out a full functional AKU 3.2 ROM for prophet? It would be nice also to include A2DP support.
It has been a long time, but no update for prophet, while the wizard got a lot ROM update. Why? :evil:

I tried to fixed bugs, but I cant yet. I have the tools and know the metods, but when I tried to change keyboard driver, after flash the buttons doesnt work. i will post here if I made progress.

does anyone know if an official AKU update for the prophet is on its way i.e for the JAMin?

I've been trying with bepe's guidance to build a prophet rom since a few days. He has sent me all files needed to build the rom but I am not succeeding. The prolem is that bepe is on vacation. If you or anyone else wants me to share the files, please inform me. More minds are always better.
I believe bepe would have no problem if I share the archives.

Please share with me the files. I really intrestied to creat a fully working rom for prophet v aku3.2, but I have problems with keyboard driver. I put into my contact in ICQ bepe but he1s always offline, so I cant ask helping from him. so we need to work together to creat the rom. more minds creat more better things.

oh, And I think the problem is the imgfs tools is for win mobile os 5.0 but prphet have os 5.1 so the sytem is not compatible perfect. so that's why I cant change some files in wizzard rom to work on prophet.

It is so nice to see more and more brave and professional guys are getting involved in this project. Unfortuanately, I am still a newbie. So, I would just cross my fingers for you guys! Hope we can see the full functional AKU 3.2 ROM for prophet some day soon.

Just wanted to let you know that I'm willing to test the ROM too (if you're sure it won't brick my Prophet, of course!).
I'll try to follow the instructions up above to built the "imperfect" ROM, hope it will solve my WIFI-issue..

it seems it's far the normally working ROM. there is some problem to work together the prophet OEM part and the aku 3.2 files. The problem is big, because with AKU3.2 the prophet OEM files dont want to boot. It stuck on splash screen.
I try to fix it with andrew_sh, but....

I've started work on building a clean Prophet AKU3.2 rom based on the lastest Wizard 3.2 rom.
I see people are having problems with the keyboard and camera drivers. Comparing the Wizard & Prophet files I see that the only file that needs changed is the camera driver (module) and by luck if you slot this from a prophet rom to the wizard rom it doesnt overlap any other memory addresses so I'm very hopeful this would work.
Can anyone give me further detail on the issues with the keyboard driver? Do no buttons on the prophet rom work when you use the wizard rom.
Anyway here are the steps I am going to use to create my rom.
1) Download the Wizard AKU3.2 Rom and take a dump of my current prophet rom.
2) Extract all files etc from the roms using the wm5 imgfs tools.
3) Import the prophet camera driver into the Wizard rom, thats the only module I'm going to change.
4) Make the rom clean (e.g. remove all 3rd party stuff)
5) Edit the default.hv entries comparing them to the Prophet default.hv making changed where needed (e.g. the shell button mappings)
6) Edit initflashfiles.dat, the prov xml files, and the other rgu files.
7) Build the rom.
8) Flash using aWizard tools.
As far as I can see all the registry entries between the 2 devices are near identical apart from the added entries for AKU3.2 and the camera driver.
Have anyone tried the same process above? Any pointers help would be welcome.

I own an Xda II and I'm thinking of upgrading it to WM 2005.
After having a look around I'm a bit confused as I'm sure are a lot of other people because there's so many different versions of WM5 to choose from on this forum that I don't know which one to go for.
Could someone please recommend the best and most stable version of WM5?

don't worry guys.. after several looking in this page, there's a several rom for WM2005 which is :
1. Helmi AKU3.5
2. C_Shekhar Rom AKU 3.50C (the newest rom)
3. other (like virgy, etc)
In my Opinion, you should try c_shekhar rom. its very nice looking (crossbow theme), more stable, quite fast..
hope you find the suitable rom.

I was reluctant to respond to this but some how I find myself compiled to post my comment. I have XDA2 and I am using llbasha rom. All the roms have the same core structure except of adding/removing some freebies and here is my latest version that has been tested and verified by independent users (special thanks to twistedconnections and maslowyk). Go for llbasha's rom. I have been using it since the first version that was release by him. Fast and stable.

tofclock new ROM is great.. but i found out there is no MMS funtion..
how can enabled the MMS function in Tofclock ROM?? and i already installed old ArcsoftMMS.cab (v.2.0).. and i can setting the MMS but still no MMS function..ermm..

because ALMOST all Prophet roms are ported from WIZARD.

Hi, yes its possible. I Pm'ed Faria from wizard forum, and he wanted to get the latest WM6 prophet rom, so that he could make a rom kitchen for us (his current rom kitchen is prophet compatible but needs an OS.nb from prophet). Am still trying to decide which os.nb i should send him..

Please send him the last Fantastic Rom. I think Faria can clean it very fast and this Rom have all Driver/Devices full running! Smart have Problem with IR and other thinks ...

I'm using now Fantastic Mobiz XBow v1.1i since a while and it's more or less stable.
I would like to have the following ROM:
- with big storage (extrom merged to windows storage)
- no voice Command, marketplace, adobe acrobat, cyberon dialer
....
-> a clean ROM for the Prophet!

I'm not able to write to the ext. ROM using Fantastic Mobiz XBow v1.1i. Is this bug solved in PDAViet ROM or is the ext. ROM merged to the windows file system?

Can anyone explain / tell me how to correct the issue. Seems to be persistant on all WM6 roms installed on my Prophet. After a few hrs after installation and use phone tends to go into like a sleep mode, I don't receive calls or text msgs. I have noticed that the signal strength goes down to 2 bars & when this starts to occur. I have been informed by callers that calls go straight into voice mail & text are never delivered.
The only way I have been able to resolve this is by resetting the phone, clearing out memory / goin in/out of programs or going back to the original 2.20 rom.

Hi, my keyboard works perfect.
I tested the rom for only 10 minutes now but seems fast and stable.
No flash disk, extended rom visible, 27 Mb of free ram, no msn, new dialer skin(all green, it does not seem ugly), standard SD recognized, camera working... I have not still had the time to test the bluetooth, wifi...
I hope of to have been useful.

can you check please if activesync over bluetooth works ?it,s very important for me ,thanks.

Hi, bluetooth is working, i test it pairing with my GPS receiver, i don't have the bluetooth in my pc, i can't test it but as I have as soon as said bluetooth is working.

I think it only has cellular on your modem list...

This can be fixed in the registry though.
This ROM seems ok, but the green of 6.1... It's very, erm, green...

Seems to be a vanilla cook from Ranjus 7.4 ROM.

Some of us already posted our impressions...
It's a Ranjus 7.4 ROM cook (almost vanilla). It seems to be a little bit faster, but it's just too green for me...
Installed Ranjus 7.4 ROM again...

I'm actually testing it, on my G4 device is more stable than ranju 7.4, PhamQuang makes his rom from the base of ranju 7.4, xip is from kaiser. For me for now, after 2 days of testing this rom is more stable than ranju 7.4. HTC Task Manager, and manager programs dosn't work correctly. I also can't make bluetooth sync with my vista laptop.

Hi, I had to report one bug.
Sometimes when i did a soft reset the today showed only the date while all the other objects disappeared. In order to resolve it had to make a soft reset. Someone other has found that?

I do have to say a nice clean rom and very fast. Just need to add the connection setup in it. I truly enjoy the speed. Keep up the good work.

Just finished flashing the 2nd untested ROM - fast as promised, although Internet Explorer doesn't work. No matter what I tried it simply kept on giving an error message about the address being invalid. Opera works fine on the ROM and it certainly has nothing to do with connectivity.
There are 2 "Connection Setup" icons under Settings > Connections, but neither does anything.
Overall I think these are minor issues and I'm impressed by the ROM.

first of all nice work xacsx, really nice work. light and fast rom. the only problem I have found till now is that I cant get IE to connect to any site.

Did anybody tested it on an original full ROM, I mean the one from CMONX package? Maybe the problem is in the source of your ROM?
If the original ROM does not have this issue then the problem came out of some components being removed.

Cmonex's ROM doesn't have this problem. I flashed her ROM when she first released it and tested this ROM afterwards.
While this ROM is fast and has VueFlo, I had a better experience with Cmonex's, so I changed back to hers.

ok, i have tryed to customize the new rom. i put one file (a simple pic) in this rom, and the internet explorer wont connecting. i have tryed out with all other roms, the same problem. all programs with internetconnections are working, opera also works.
i dont make another version of the WWE-Rom (i dont need this, i'm german). if you want other romreleases, wait for the roms of the ap-team and/or michyPrima.
