Hey everyone,
Just picked up the Fuze the other day, nice upgrade to my TILT. I updated the ROM for obvious reasons, and the only thing that is missing is the
PTT app. I know this has been removed, but is there any way to get it back on? I am using the ROMeOS ROM v1.4.
Is there a way to bring my PTT back?
Also, anyone else that has this ROM, i always like the minimized task manager, but it's not included in this ROM, anyone have it?

I like this calendar that I have in my current ROM: http://phandroid.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/rosie4-calendar-widget.jpg
However, I may be switching ROM's. Would it simply take finding that particular calendars' .apk and pulling it? Or is it more complicated than that?
depends, if you are on a hero rom and going to another hero rom, then that calendar will already be present since its a hero application. but if you are going to a non-hero rom then you cannot. there is an alternative calendar like that in development right now in the application forum in the dream section. it is called Pure Grid Calendar by Koxx
I am on a hero ROM right now. Was thinking of switching to a different ROM like Cyanogen so that I can play around with loading navigation. I still haven't gotten a concrete answer whether the current navigation hack is limited to only a few donut ROM's...OR, have people figured out how to do it on any ROM?

The navigation works on ANY 1.6 rom. Hero is 1.5. If the rom runs 1.6 then its a go. Here's the link:

[EDIT] It appears this won't work without special files from the demo unit. Perhaps when custom roms and S-OFF come to light we should be able to get this work further, until then you won't get this to work.
I got this from 0mega's thread from the pre-release /system dump of his phone. I cannot confirm it will even work on a stock Sensation since my Sensation is away for repair so please post if it doesn't work:

Thanks to 0mega1 for the dump and hope it is useful.
Fails to install on my stock sensation atm.
Will keep hold of it

what the app can be used for ?
It did install on mine, and i can find it in the list of apps, but not in the app launcher, does anyone know how to launch this?
This was from a pre-released version of the phone. It's a real shame it doesn't seem to work on the stock sensation. I would have tested it myself but my phone was away for repair and i thought it might just 'work'.
It might need S-OFF, but to be honest i doubt it. I even tried it on my Desire HD in case it worked on other phones but it just force closes.
I was wondering, if anyone might be able to use this via ADW or something. Since you said you can find it in the list of apps, you might be able to do a custom shortcut in a 3rd party launcher and then direct that shortcut to that tool to launch it? Just a thought. I was able to do that with ADW on my stripped version of Sense 3.0 on my Thunderbolt so I could edit the lockscreen shortcuts without actually needing the Rosie launcher.
Hmm is this the same as the HTC Function test program 1.0? if so you launch it with *#*#DIAG#*#* I can test the screen, buttons, system info, battery run down test, camera, audio, vibrator, LED, backlight, HST status.
It's a cool but useless tool
Can someone post the Notification Power Control App in CM7 on here so I can install it without having the ROM installed? I am currently on Stock, but I miss that feature.
Ofcourse if its not permissible to use that app as a stand alone, please excuse my asking for this, and let me know, so I can delete this post.
Thanks.
It's cooked in the rom. You can't just install an apk.
Anyone know of a similar app that is perhaps in the market, or available here in the forums? I too miss this cool CM7 feature.
Actually, I miss CM7 lol...but I have to have voice dialing w/my bluetooth.
Hi all,
Tried searching for this, but have thus far been unsuccessful. I rooted my HTC Thunderbolt last week and flashed the Synergy RC2 ROM to it. Everything runs great, and I'm very happy with it so far. However, I think I may have missed a step with Synergy (or potentially this is just not possible). When I go to Menu->Settings->Personalize, it kicks me back to the homescreen. Is this normal? I wanted to adjust the lockscreen shortcuts and I thought that was how it was accomplished. Is much of the HTC specific functionality out of the ROM for legal reasons or am I just a moron and missed something? I don't think I have the HTC widgets either, but again I don't know if that's something I'm missing or they were intentionally left out (which would be reasonable).
TIA!
EDIT of course two minutes after I post this I find a possible solution. I didn't have the rosie folder in my SynergyROM folder when I flashed. Looks like I have to create that and reflash and I should be good to go.
EDIT #2 Yep, that was my issue. Got rosie installed and I'm good to go.
Hey all,
Having been on miui for the longest time, I really miss mi's touch assistant aka quickball. Have tried almost all the other touch assistant apps out there and the only one that comes anywhere close is floating toucher.
Does anyone know how to install mi's quickball onto a custom rom? Or know of any other app similar to it?
TIA
