I notice on the Touchxperience site that the Advance Configuration tools list options that seem to be missing in my particular install of the program; namely under "Today" "Single Line Date Plugin". This option does not appear on my Fuze. I was hoping this "plug-in" would allow me to add the date to the title bar (I already have the clock there).
If it is indeed device specific and certain phones will be missing certain options, can anyone recommed the registry fix to add the date line? I had it on my Axim, then on my 8525. The registry looks different there so I didn't want to experiment too much on my work phone- although I'm sure somebody else was brave enough to do so. I have searched the forums for some specific Raphael/Fuze settings but didn't seem come up with anything.
no, schaps wonderful advanced config is not device specific.
as for the registry edit your looking for, not sure but check out the raphael tweaks sticky.

Thanks for the reply. Hmm, not sure why I'm missing some configuration options then. Maybe I'll reinstall..? As far the date tweak goes, yes, I made sure to check the "Tweaks" sticky first - nothing there yet.
its not device specific? i thought there was a setting in advanced config to adjust the screen sensitivity, i have an axim x51v and i cant find that setting in advanced config

Any1 know how to completely disable (i dont want it in memory too) Touch FLO?
Hey...
Try this:
\\\REGISTRY\HKLM\Software\OEM\TFLOSettings\
EnableCube = 0 (original = 1)
It worked on my MDA Touch and i know it worked on some Orbit 2 too....
Tweaking instead of On/Off
The Polaris also has a number of other registry entries under TFLOSettings that, in addition to allowing you to turn Touch FLO on or off, also enable you to tweak its sensitivity. Does anyone know if these settings documented somewhere? I've done a search and found bits and pieces of information but not all the information in one place. Thanks.
WHY, oh why?

Question: Why would you want to disable TouchFLO? I personally think TFLO is the best invention since sliced bread...

I found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=351082 under Tips & Tricks (post #6) from the Nike forum but it works on the Polaris. I changed the Touch Flo settings on both my Nike and Polaris from 15 to 50 and now it's much faster. Hope this helps, let me know.
Excluding Apps from TouchFlo

I like TFLO. However, certain apps like PhatPad which I use don't behave well with it. So I would like to exclude certain apps from TFLO. I could do this with fTouchFlo by editing a config file. However, I don't know how to do this with TFLO and a search didn't find anything. Anyone help would be appreciated.
Disable TouchFLO - to do or not to do . . .

Good for you. To each his own.
I DON'T like it.
I want to use stylus or buttons only. I don't give a damn about finger functions on the screen.
Let people do what they want. Help them if you are interested and you can, but no need to denigrate them.
Don't take this as a flame - no offense intended - I just recognize that whatever feature exists for any mechanical device, some will love it, some will be indifferent, some will hate it.

I am not sure that is possible. Your best best is to make the PhatPad developers aware of whatever issues you are having so a possible fix can be applied to future versions of the app.
I want also disable TouchFlo and replace it with the 4 cube version SCLPF
Hello, I have my polaris for a week now.
But I have the oppsite problem. My TFLO is disabled, but I don't know why!
I dont have my Polaris in landscape mode, so it should work.
I don't have any strange programms installed.
Can anyone help me with this?
TFLO has reg settings to disable for certain apps. Eg there's one for photo album there.
Is there anyway I can benefit from TouchFlo and some of the SPB softwares (like phone suite, Spb diary, mobile shell etc.) both?
I would like to see multiple appointments on my today screen and also the task list by categories which is very important.
Moreover, I have found that the sound stuff doesnt work properly on any of these roms available here unless i use mobile shell which really keeps phone silent only when i have a calender item that marks me busy. TouchFlo sound option keeps the phone silent eventhough someone's birthday is there on the calendar or even if my out of office event is there on calendar..
when i killed twice manilla2d.exe all that absolutly useless (for me and maybe some other users) stuff as panel in the bottom and large alarm clock which makes my device stupid disappeared. now there is clean screen with wallpaper. very nice, i like it but there is string "tap here to launch touchflo tm". is it possible to disable manilla2d.exe startup on every boot and this start link on the screen? (via system registry file?)
so when it is completely disabled it would be perfect to have some tiny alternative as clock in system tray or on the screen. and one more useful possible function is smth like custom desktop shortcuts.
do you now such software programs?
htc touch elf, wm 6.1

In my opinion the Advanced Configuration Tool is a must have because you can tweak almost everything regarding every part of the operating system (including some TF3D modifications).
DiamondTweak on the other hand concentrates on TF3D and has a lot TF3D-tweaks to offer which Adv. Conf. doesn't have.
So it depends on your needs which one you choose I think. Probably both if in doubt.
and what are you using?
I use just Advanced Config.
But I don't have much needs to reconfigure TF3D. The few things I need (like changing the date format on the home screen and rearrange the TF3D tabs) can be done with Adv. Conf.
I thought I saw something the other day about using the track wheel to scroll through contacts and other things. I cant find it now. Can somene tell me how to do this?
I'm also interested in this
Search for Diamond Tweak, install and it's in the options.
Advanced Config 3.3 has this option too.
where in advanced 3.3?? i dont see it?
also with diamond tweak, I cant find the actual program. I found the thread, but it just shows a bunch of reg edits, i dont see the actual file, like advanced config.
can you point me in the right direction.

Scrolling works in contacts and PIE, but for some reason it isn't working on my fuze in file explorer, not sure why.
Advanced Config - it is under the "Menu" softkey>More items>SmartTouch
I just wish it would work in Outlook, I can't understand why it dosen't as it's fine when you're trying to move a mail in Outlook

in my TP works
I've searched all over xda-developers but apologies if this is already answered.
How do you change (ie. delete some and add others) the default settings that show up in the Touch Flo 3D's Settings tab?
I don't understand why on earth HTC put things like "My Contact Card", "Mail Setup", Customize Tabs", etc on this otherwise handy tab and don't allow customisation. What's the point of having shortcuts to something you usually do once when setting the phone up versus items you re-visit regularly being forced into "All Settings".
touchflow settings tab
you can change the settings by installing this cab. it will speed up you touch and give you an option to change the order or remove items off the tabs. worth doing just for the speed alone.

Hi and thanks for that.
Appreciate the suggestion, but I'm not interested in all those other changes in that cab solution. I run TouchFlo 3D on the new Touch Pro2 and it is lightning fast and very responsive. The other Diamond fixes are also not relevant.
So it's encouraging that someone has worked out how to do it, but I'd like just the registry tweaks to modify the Settings tab, not a cab that does heaps of tweaks. I've searched through this cab but can't decipher the ones I'm after.
Anyone know where the tweaks for Settings tab alone might be?
Thanks.
(Re-posted at Rhodium General forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=4371557#post4371557 as this may be Rhodium-/Manila-specific.)
I have installed the Touch X LEO Turbo.cab and I am not sure about it. Meaning, is it supposed to be listed as a program under your Start icon where you can select changes after running the Turbo program, or do you install it, and it runs in the background, automatically, with no options to change the settings! I have searched everywhere, and cant find an answer. I guess I am missing something!!

Is basically the same thing, you can play around from Advanced Configuration Tool. The drawback so far is the way it affects facebook integration in manila, apparently you can.t view your friends albums from manila when this tweak is enabled.
