Voicemail?? - Touch Pro, Fuze General

how do I setup the voicemail on my fuze?..for some reason i have no voicemail already setup

It should be set up on your sim card if you are carrying over an existing account.
If this is a new account call up the store you set it up at or customer service and they will tell you the number to key into the phone.
Then its auto set to speed dial 1.

Rest VM number after Google Voice?

A while back I must have done something to switch my default voicemail password to my Google Voice number. I'm not able to set up GVoice to be my default mailbox, and more importantly, I'm not able to access the default AT&T mailbox, so I've got a pesky icon in my notification area, and the only number it has stored for VM is my Gvoice number, which doesn't receive any voicemail.
I need the default number that AT&T mailboxes use, so I can press and hold "1" and it won't dial Gvoice.
Your voicemail number is going to be different depending on where you live. It will more often have the same area code that you use etc. Of course you can always access your voicemail by calling your own number and then pressing the * or # key on your phone (cant remember which one, usually the * key). Then it will ask you to put in your information, password in the case. That is it, you have your voicemail. (doesnt everyone know this? At one point that was the only way you could even access your voicemails back in the day)
To get your VM number for the area you live in you need to call customer care. There isn't a default number to call. It uses your service area to provide the correct number. You should actually be able to reset your VM settings in the phones settings (in some cases) and this will put the default number back in place. Of course if you have been flashing your phone that might not be the case always.

GoVoice/Voicemail help

Push notifications have been wildly inconsistent for me, so I would like to go back to the standard voicemail settings. How do I do that? Will uninstalling it re-route callers to AT&T's voicemail? Also, what is the phone number to call my voicemail? Thanks.
Phone: Focus
Carrier: AT&T, locked
You can probably just bring up the dialer and hold down number 1 for a couple of seconds second to dial voice mail (and get the number). ATT has voice-mail centers all over, so no clue what yours is. Do not know about other question, sorry.
Under phone settings my voicemail number is currenly my google voice number, and that's what is dialed by holding 1.
Allllllright I finally disabled it. Problem is I can't find the ATT number you dial from your cell, so if any on ATT could check their phone....
Just call ATT, as I said, it depends on your location. I am pretty sure they have redirect center in every area code.
If you go into Google Voice voicemail settings and tell it to turn GV Voicemail off, it'll give you step by step instructions on how to reset it back to AT&T voicemail.

Setting Voicemail Speed Dial To Google Voice

I use Google Voice for voicemail but what irritated me was that the speed dial for Voicemail would call T-Mobile's Voicemail. I found a way to change it to call the Google Voice number. Sometimes it is easier to call Google Voice to check messages then using the app and faster. The speed dial number is set from the SIM card everyone the phone is turned on or restarted, but T-Mobile network is programmed to forward the calls to Google Voice. Just follow these steps and the Speed Dial (The #1 key and the Voicemail button on the bottom right) well be set to Google Voice. The only bad thing is that since the SIM card sets this it will have to be done every time the phone is restarted.
1) Go to Settings, Call Settings, Voicemail
2) If it shows Google Voice skip this step, pick Voicemail service and then pick Google Voice (I have received errors before but just start over)
3) Pick Voicemail and on the next screen pick Voicemail number (You should see a message about accessing, this is the phone getting the number from the network)
4) Now pick Voicemail service and pick Google Voice (wait a moment and you should get a popup that the number has been changed)
You are done and can go back to home and or you can test it. Just remember when the phone is restarted this had to be done again.

Google voicemail with Net10 using AT&T (how to)

This is how to get google voicemail as your voice mail with an unlocked or AT&T phone using Net10 on AT&T's network.
Once your phone is set up and your APN settings work, first install to google voice app. Then log into google voice, go to settings and add your number. It should detect the carrier as AT&T. If not this may not work for you.
Next, on your phone, open the dialer. Then hit menu and select settings. Select voicemail. Select service and change it to google voice.
After this go back to the home screen, Then back into dialer, settings, voicemail. This time select setup. If it gives you an error try setup again.
After all is said and done, call your phone and verify google voice picks up.
Just posting this since I couldnt find anything online on how to do this, so I had to figure it out myself.
Enjoy

Google Voice for Voicemail on Gear S2

Hi Everyone,
Sorry if similar has been posted, I tried doing a search but I was not able to find anything for this.
So far I am loving my new watch. I have been doing a bit of playing around with it and the most recent thing I have been working on is getting google voice to be used for voicemail.
So I am newish to google voice and have not been using it for voicemail or anything until now, but I figure now I have two numbers and two voicemails and combining them to one would be great.
So I have configured my cellphone number and watch number with google voice. I have setup my google voice number to be the number that is forwarded to for voicemail for both my phone and watch. So far, initial testing seems to be going great except for one minor thing. On my watch, if I do a reboot it changes the default voicemail number that I would use to call my voicemail on the watch from my google voice number back to the default T-Mobile number. This is just a minor inconvenience as I could just setup a separate contact to be able to call the google voice number. I just like to be able to just tell it to dial voicemail though.
Has anyone else done anything similar yet, if so are you seeing the same issue. I am thinking that the watch has an issue with saving some default things as I have had it wipe out watch settings and stuff as well.
Thanks
I too am interested in this kind of setup. Been using Google Voice as my default VM for my cell. Can't get it to stick once I set it up on my Gear S2 and it reoots.

Is your problem the same as mine where the default number that the watch is using to call out to check voicemail is going back to the default? Or is your actual number for people calling in to the watch and it going to voicemail being reset?
So the google voice voicemail seems to work great for watch and for phone. The issue with the number clearing out on the watch after a reboot really isn't a big headache as I don't power off the watch often so far.
One of the things I was thinking to try was to change the default number on my phone that is associated with the 1 key for voicemail to my google voice number and see if that would sync it over to the watch that way. I am trying to figure out how to change the default number associated to my voicemail though.
I have a Note 5 on T-Mobile and the voicemail settings is grayed out. I have read that I can root the device and then it would give me access to system files which I could then modify to be able to access the voicemail settings. I was hoping to do this without having to do a root on the phone. Has anyone else ran into this issue and is there any resolution for it without a root?
Thanks

I went through the step by step process directly on the Google Voice website for adding a new # to my google voice account. Once your watch has been successfully added, GV will give you the ** (GV phone number) # sequence to dial in through your watch to permanently activate GV as your default voice mail. I have since rebooted my S2 several times and every single time my voicemail is set to Google Voice.

I followed the same instructions as well. For me it works to update the voicemail so when that phone rings the google voice voicemail is the one that the caller is directed to.
But if I go into the settings there is a number to use for voicemail, That doesn't update when I use the google voice instructions. So I manully change it to my google voice number, after a reboot it clears back to the default T-Mobile number.
So I noticed a bit of an issue today with using google voice as my voicemail for the watch and phone. Was wondering if anyone has any ideas on a work around.
So basically I have my phone and watch setup with the forwarding to go to my google voice number for voicemail only. The problem I am having is that when I lose the bluetooth connection to the watch, the call forwarding sends calls from the phone to the watch. When the bluetooth connection is established again, the call forwarding disables and it sets my call forwarding number on the phone back to the default t mobile number and not my google voice number. So then I have to dial the forwarding number again to setup the forwarding to google voice every time my phone connects remotely to my watch.
A couple of thoughts on it but I am not sure if any are possible.
The ideal situation would be if I could just change the default number away from t mobile's default and have it be my google voice number, so if it resets then it would reset back to google voice number. Anyone know if this can be done if I root the note?
The other thought would be some kind of program that would run that anytime the watch first establishes bluetooth connection to the phone, the phone will auto dial the number that does the call forwarding to my google voice number, this would allow it to fix itself each time it established.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

Did you ever find a solution to this? I just got Gear s3 and in the same boat. When I establish connection to watch again the phone defaults to t-mobile voicemail number and not my GV one.
