Does anyone know or experienced the alarm not sounding after installing M2D touchflo. My alarm goes off and it vibrates and it displayed on the screen but it doesnt make a sound. I did a hard restet and tested it without touchflo and it sounds as it should do. Any help would be much aprreciated.

I have the Cingular/HTC 8125. Has anyone had a problem where their alarm wont turn off? My alarm isnt even set but it still goes off at 9:30 everyday. The tone is the really annoying ringer tone. Once it goes off, I cant get it to stop. Does anyone have any ideas?
If not, does anyone know how to go back to factory settings?

I dont have any programs that have any alarms. And the phones main alarms are all turned off. Any other ideas?

Did you manage to turn off your alarm? The tone may be annoying, yeah...
Btw I found an alarm solution (WAWA alarm software - www.novii.tv/pocketpc/wawa) that lets my smartphone turn on my home theater to wake me up in the morning - much nicer then a ringer tone!
Hi there, I've set my alarm to repeat sound, but it only ring once. In wm5, it keeps ringing until I stop it. This happens in all the wm6 roms that I've tried. Is this is wm6 *feature? How can I make it ring atleast for 30sec or until I stop or snooze it without using a 30sec wav file?
or should I install a simple 3rd party alarm app.

Can you add more alarms to the windows alarms? I looked in the registry and saw there were keys for alarms 0-2 so i tried adding a 3'd key copying all the values to see if that would add another one...
I'd prefer not to have to pay for something the phone does already and seems to be easily improved upon, the only thing i dislike is you turn the volume down the alarm volume is affected...crazy micrsoft programmers!

on a simular note, Does anyone know how the alarm feature works? does it just call up a file to run when the alarm runs?
I want to understand why at a certain time the alarm sounds, I realise this proberbly sounds silly, but i'm not quite sure how it works, as far as i can tell there isn't an alarm program constantly running.
basically I was wondering, if the alarm noticiation thing is just an exe running to sound the alarm, could i just put a dummy alarm in to change the volume to max just before the alarm sounds so i don't have to worry about putting it on silent?

I searched high and low for a tweak or add-on that would help me with this. If a sceduled task or appointment starts and the alarm goes off I might just not be in the room (or maybe in this very second there was a loud train passing by). With my good old Palm 105 that had been no problem because 5 minutes later the alarm would ring again until dismissed.
Only I found apps that reapeat alarms BUT REPLACE working with WM5 Schedule Task etc. I cant do that. I just want the alarm to repeat...
Anyone help me on this please?

Been using the alarm function with no problems.......until recently! I woke up half an hour late for work the other day, went to check my phone wondering why the alarm hadn't gone off but the screen was flashing "SNOOZE " & "DISMISS" So the alarm was working but the sounds weren't and i had turned off the vibrate option because I hate that sound it makes.
I go into the alarm sound menu and none of them play, I go into the ringtones and they work fine. Same with message tones and music.
The sound options were all set correctly, alarm volume set to max. Silent mode wasn't the problem.
After a reboot the alarm sounds played again.
Anyone else had this problem?

Just had the exact same thing happen to me this morning. This is the second time it has happened. I had also received an SMS before my alarm was supposed to go off, and it vibrated instead of playing my notification sound (even though I did not have it on vibrate only mode). Very, very annoying. Bring on root+CM7!!!
If you have any task killers, remove them.
I know many of the task killers will do this to your clock.
Thanks pr0x2, but I am running only the stock Sense task killer.
The problem may with the ringer. otherwise, go to settings, find sound and select volume. you may have set the specific volume to min. increase the alarm volume in that try.
