Upgraded my typhoon a little while back and since all my calendar reminders go off as they should however when i hit dismiss they still got off again in 5 minutes and continually go off until the meeting..
Even if i select snooze till 5 minutes before it still keeps going off..
Driving me mad..
Any ideas please

I've had a problem with my XDA Exec since last Friday. I use it as my alarm clock on a morning normally - the 3 alarms are better than a snooze button cos it eases me in gently by reducing the snooze time each time. But on Friday I was late for work when it didn't go off at all. When I woke up and switched it on, all 3 notifications came through at once. Same has happened yesterday and today (though luckily I was already awake both times).
I did a reset over the weekend, and I know its not a sound issue as it just doesn't go off until you switch it on and they all come through at once. If I receive a text or phone call that wakes the phone up so I know its not that either.
Any thoughts/ideas?
alarm problem
hey buddy even i m facing same problem, it oesnt goes off, i mean even if we uncheck it in notification it doesnt goes off, even after soft reset it doesnt...whats the problem
After a few days it decided to rectify itself. Still no idea what exactly when wrong, but its working now at least.
I flashed my phone 2 days ago from on spv e650 to wm 6.1 gonzo and yesterday it was working fine (battery life was brilliant even with bluetooth, wifi, and checking for emails over gprs) I charged it last night and this morning the phone told me it was "roaming" with a little triangle beside the gprs logo, i switched it off and back on again and now, every 5 minutes my phone vibrates, theres no alerts on the screen or anything, ive turned all comms off, taken the battery out and back in and stopped my email from refreshing. theres no sound with the vibrate and the phone is not on silent. its driving me crazy, help me
its the vibrating alert script i guess
try removing it from the startup folder.
You have missed a call, or unred SMS/email, or appointment...
Check this first.
On my phone that thing got stucked and would vibrate even if there was no event to vibrate for. I ended up formatting it, but if you know there are no missed calls or anything that you may have missed try to delete all the call logs, and then make a call to the phone and wait until it vibrates past 5 minutes, then view the call to make it stop, and reboot the phone. Maybe it works for you
If you can wait a few days I can cook you a custom ROM based on Dr. G's but without the Notification script and wm5torage wich you will need to install seperately if you use it.

Thanks guys, as i had only just installed the new rom i decided just to do a hard reset and it fixed it as i wasnt going to lose anything
You just need to remove the script "notify.mscr" from the startup and reboot. That will solve your problem. You don't need to hard reset or flash your phone to stop this.
i had the same thing tomorrow. just turn it off... go to the startmenu->all progs->System folder->Config notification->"disable script"
done!!!!!
Hi everyone, I hope someone can help me.
I just upgrade to the offical Verizon ROM to WM 6.5 and I'm having some issues.
The main problem: I take my phone off of sleep mode or stop it from entering just prior to and my TF3D home screen shows but the banner reads "messaging" instead of "start" like I'm in my messages and the virtual keyboard will pop up. This also happens 85% of the time when I recieve a new txt/mms not with emails however. This is a new development I;ve had the ROM since launch.
Before I call VZW and get stuck on hold for 50 years I figured i would see if anyone else has this issue or knows of a .cab that might fix the issue. I have had luck with .cabs in the past for other issues.
Side note, has anyone successfully stopped the clock from flipping an hour and two minutes? I have checked the fourms downloaded all the .cabs and nothing seems to actually stop it.
I am in the exact same boat as you my friend. I am also having diffuculty locating a background for all tabs .cab and a working rotator for all screens that functions in the VZ TP2 6.5update

I have a very similar problem to you my friend. When I check my messages (txt or emails) and close out of them the Messaging will pop up like yours, although my keyboard doesn't show up. Sometimes it takes 5 seconds sometimes 30 seconds.
My main issue is it will turn my screen back on when this happens. So if I read a txt and close it and I don't wait for it to pop up, my screen will stay on. It's killing my battery life and some funky things happen when its in my pocket turned on..
Any idea if anyone has come across a solution to this?
So I'm loving my Transformer. The OS has a few bugs, but overall very nice.
One of these bugs really...bugs me. It's with the calendar.
It will sync with my Google calendar, but when I go to view them, they are never at the right time. An even that I have on the schedule for 11am will appear as being at 3am at first glance.
If I tap on the event and try to edit it, it will give the correct start time. But once I exit, it goes back to being at 3am. The only solution is to delete the event and put it in again. Even then sometimes after putting in the new even, it will still start at the wrong time. It's not a huge huge problem, except that it will send me alerts in the dead of night about an even happening when really it is several hours away.
What is going on?

What timezone are you set on? I set my time correctly and noticed my calendar events were off, but for some reason the tablet was set to have Taiwan as the timezone, not EST. Fixed that, and my events are at the proper time.
I've just received my Nexus 5 earlier today and, coming from my old Samsung Galaxy Nexus, I'm really loving it so far. However, I've noticed that, at random, my Nexus 5 will vibrate and the screen will wake, sometimes once, sometimes twice in a row. There are no notifications following the vibration and screen wake, and no real indication at all as to why this may be happening.
At first, it started with Hangouts vibrating and waking the screen four to five times after each new text message I would receive, until I finally unlocked the phone and opened the Hangouts app. I would get an SMS text, the phone would vibrate and the screen would wake. Then, just after the screen would go back off on its own, the device would vibrate and the screen would wake again. This was a recurring issue today, so I had assumed it was just a bug with the Hangouts app (which did not at all surprise me).
However, for the past several hours, I have not received any text messages or Hangouts messages at all, yet at random times my phone will vibrate and the screen will wake with no notifications or other indications as to why. Sometimes it will happen once, followed by a second occurrence of this behavior about a minute later. Other times, it will happen twice in succession. I was wondering if maybe it was Google Now, but I had disabled vibration on notifications for Google Now. I also considered Gmail, but notifications are turned off entirely for my Gmail app.
I'm at a loss here, and I'd really appreciate any insight into this issue. For those wondering if it might have something to do with the battery overheating and the system trying to notify me about it, the battery has been keeping below or around 80 degrees Fahrenheit for the vast majority of the day, so I doubt this is the case, though I'm open to any and all possibilities.
