i have greek rom by ace hellas, and i replaced it by a cooked rom from XDA. Everytime i reverse to the official 6.1 + greek by ace hellas, everything works like a charm
i am talking about the greek mui file of manila 2d (M2D) when i replace the original mui in my manilla 2d the text disappeared. Does anyone else have the same problem?
any solution pleaseeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!

I have made a small guide "how to add new language to the t9".
got a lot of help, i just put it all together
the languages in the t9languages.zip is:
Czech
Dutch
French
German
Greek
Hungarian
Italian
Polish
Portuguese
Romanian
Slovak
Spanish
Turkish
and in the "languageguide for smartphone.zip" is:
Danish
This will work on almost every smartphone with windows 5.0 or 2003

Thanks but its still not that... I would need also T9AW.dll, T9Ime.dll and T9AXEngine.dll from WM 5.0 if i want to work with these files because that dlls are from wm5 also it doesnt work on wm2003 4.21.1088 (because of wrong dlls above)...

hmmm the danish dll file is from my c500, with 2003. you don't need all those mui files! just do as it says its working for me...
But its not for me... Never worked...
I tried dlls from wm 2003 supermoto 2 (with T9AW, T9Ime etc) and the one u have... none of them work :|
Can u dump also T9AW.dll, T9IME.dll, T9AWEngine.dll (or similar) and T9Ime.dll.0409.mui ?

It will be necesary because this dll files with T9 dictionary need another T9 engine.

Im looking for a german rom upgrade for my o2 xda neo. the update provided on their site changes nearly nothing.
In another forum i read about this rom: Qtek s200 2.20.739 GER for the prophet. it seems to be very stable and it is german.
please give me a link were to download this rom or a similar one- it MUST be german.
it can also be an cooked rom with changed content.
and by the way one little question what does the "WWE" attachment in the rom name mean ?? is there german language and keyboard layout included ?

hello, I have an English ROM on my SPV C600 (RUU_TORNADO_WM6.1_19202_Clean_0.4b) and like to install German software. But the software is after installing in the same language as the ROM. What can I do? Thank you in advance!
Applications steer their language via the regional settings of the device. Almost all care for the language settings (often only English in cooked ROMs), very few also about the regional settings (e.g. Sprite Backup).
If your software is storing its language dependency in *.mui.<nn> files (mostly done), then you just need to delete/rename the *.mui.0409 files and rename the *.mui.0407 to *.mui.0409. Problem is that many apps have their english part built in and not in an extra *.mui.<nn>, so you may be out of luck.

Is there a complete German ROM available for the Tornado? There are several things at different places that need a customization per language. The *.mui.<nn> is just one part of the whole story.
I am too busy (and unexperienced) to extract and port a multilanguage ROM from another device.

Look in the VOX forum, the ROMs from frauhottelmann are multilanguage and he started with WM6.1 before moving on the 6.5 train.

This CAB does not correspond to a Russian layout =)

Hm you could make a Russian ROM, if you had all Russian mui-files. If it is a true WinMo 6.1 ROM with complete Russian it's not a big deal. You have to extract the ROM (don't know if it's working though, never did here (with 6.1)) and use those mui files to add Russian to Dr. G.'s ROM.

just try this....manila 2.5.2011 ...its much faster and and the settings tab is fully workin....also messeging and people tab working
you have to install first sdkcert.cab then audiomanager.cab and then oemmdiamaudiomgr.cab!!!
it runs much faster and the weather animations are more liquide

ps: you have to rename *409.mui files in windows folder to the language of your rom ....mine is german so i had to rename it to *407.mui
so here you got the bugs i found and some of thoese were reported and some hints to slove them:
-audiomanager is an invalide application(no sulution till now)
-album tab dont works (copy albumsearcher.exe do windows folder)
-contact editor dont work( mui files need to be changed to rom language)
-settings tab is buggy ( same as previous and install sense fix 6.5 .cab!!!)
-not able to change background directly via home tab( no solution)
-htc messaging is not working(disable with cab on first page at last post)
-after installin sense music tab don´t work (use atteched AudioManager_Eng.exe.zip file on last post of first page)
-AudioManger do not find your music (edit regestry path HKLM/SOFTWARE/HTC/AudioManager_Eng/Config/ device_scan_path_path and set your wanted directory and voillaaaaa audiomanager is running extremly fast!!!)
-cant change background(use wallpaperchager cab is posted )

I THINK MOST BUGS ARE SLOVED WITH THE ATTECHED CABS....INSTALL them AND REPORT PLAESE

there has been a update of manila sense 2.5 to the build 2012....
this version is a bit faster and has additional tabs like reader and document tab.....but there are still some bugs...most fixes like disable htc masseging and sense fix 6.5.cab are build in so its easy ...here it is..about 38mb and yes its cfc compressed

installation is as easy as manila 2.5.2011

first install SDKCERT.CAB
then Audiomanager.cab
the third thing is Oemdiamaudiomgr.cab
Then you should be able to install Manila 2.5.2012
When installation is finished you can fix Audiotab and photo tab like it was befor...
to disable current location just go to regestry
HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\MANILA\Weather.EnableCurrentLocation and change from 1 to 0
...
i'll give reports as soon as posible when i test it.....i'm a bit bussy nowadays ....

whats is the uk english mui language code?
Is this fully working sense on tg01 and dose it fail / crash / hang at all?
srry i dont know the englisch mui code
but you can look in windows directory there are some mui files....just look wich numeric code they got
till now all tabs are working just music tab is buggy
to make album tab work you have to copy albumseacher_signed.exe to windows folder.......
maybe there were little bugs but i think we can handle them

Also I have spb mobile shell will I need to remove it before installing this? Sorry for the questions but I really don`t want to install until I know its not going to mess me up for using my phone.

you dont need to deinstall mobile shell!!! the can run parallel but i think it will take a lot of ram space...but it should work!!!

yeah your right....i had that problem too
i was trying to fix audio tab with reinstalling...
but i think the problem with audio tab can be sloved by replaceing audiomgr.exe in windows folder with that one of prvious version of manila...because that one is buggy

Settings tab missing options, also going back to the twitter tab after the settings tab hangs.

NetFramework3.5 is required and need to be sure if it's enable in registry.
i already instaled it
but it doesn't pass the logo screen, tells me to tap, the it flickers some times and goes back to "tap to launch"

Testing results
Compared with last sence 2.5
-still can't add favorite people
-year mode on calendar still gives white screens as months
-still can't add location on weather mode
-music tab - "audiomanager_eng is not a valid pocket pc application"
-photo tab - only lets use the camera, search gives nothing
-settings tab - Now comm manager works [wifi doesn't]
-weather demo is more fluid
i read that the problem of the "year mode", "add location" and "add favorite" is from the gl drivers...
Hope someone finds or update those...
