I have been interested in Xperia panels for a long time now but a release date is uncertain. Any chance someone is working on Panels for the Fuze? I think the touch flo is just a gimmick but the panels offers somenthing a little different and useful.
Would it work to use the panels cab for the Touch HD on the Fuze or is the screen size a dela killer?

Hi
I'm brand new here, and I'm hoping this question may have already been asked and answered but...
I have the new Orbit 2 and really much prefer the HTC Home to the o2 Today.
So I installed HTC Home and it works fine but...
I'm not able to control it in the same as this guy can with the TouchFlo...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5olemDlIRI
I'd like to be able to control it in the EXACT same way; I have UltimateLaunch but it doesn't seem to change the whole screen in the way the video does, just the bit at the bottom.
Am I missing some software?
Many, many thanks
Oliver,.
just bumping my question...
I would be very interested in this too as a new owner of an orbit2
Alfie, can you give me any pointers to the HTC Home app please?
The answer to this thread is actually extremely simple. Remove ALL today plugins except for ultimate launcher then add your HTC plugin onto a tab in UL, then create more tabs with icons and such, set the tab gestures to open/perform the desired tasks and lastly set the height of the ultimate launch plugin to be equal to your entire screen size. After you play around for a bit you will understand. Ultimate launch does not use touchflo, it has its own "touchflo" monitor. I have been using a setup like this for a few days now and am quite happy with it. if you search here in the developer section you will see some threads there for "the better cube", "questions about tabbed today" and others. read those and you will be quite happy.
My O2 Orbit2 did not come with HTC Home, any clues as to where I can get this please?
I like the X1 hardware platform, but everytime I see tiling panels I think "bling".
I wondered if anyone would consider implementing the sliding panels, or if sliding panels is already implemented, maybe maintaining it?
The tornado joystick and A2DP troubles lost that lovin' feeling.
Since some weeks, I'm thinking about of buying the Touch Pro and couldn't find the information in this forum I was looking for. My question concerns the usability scrolling through large screen content without a click wheel like my touch cruise. In a local store I played a while with the Touch Pro and it was strange to navigate through the screen content with the arrow buttons. Is anybody here, who has changed from click wheel to a device without that wheel and can say something about the usability?
The other thing was, that I often pressed the other buttons while navigating.
The last thing (just a minor issue, not worth to open a new thread for it): Is it possible customize the today screen to show more than one plugin inclusive the TF3D? The TF3D looks nice, but its full screen, something that I dont want. On my Touch Cruise, I have the Home Screen Plugin (that thing with big clock), PocketPlus and HomeScreenPlusPlus.
On Touch Pro the area arround the arrow buttons is used for zooming in a couple of applications.
You can change through registry this function to make it scroll, like your Touch Cruise.
However, scrolling a large document never seems hard for me. I just use gestures...
As for the other question you have, when and if you buy TP search for Second Today. It adds a second Today, free of TF3D, where you can enable any plugin you want.
Thanks for the info, they should help me in making a decision. The only problem is the justification for buying a new ppc. My "old" touch cruise is just a half year old. *g*
Hey guys
Is it possible to convert the Se Xperia panels to the Touch Pro, or does this already exist?
Thank you
yes i also want to know if the htc touch hd xperia panels thing will work on the touch pro aswell
Try this - http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-task-facade.html
very buggy program..
This would be quite a neat function to be able to add a "panels" tab to the TF3D interface.
i like this prog. but how can i make a shortcut on a phone butten like in the youtube video?
taskfacade has gotten much beter in newer builds
you must go to settings
buttons
button 1 (hold) set it there
what is the newest build and where i get it?

Hello all,
I'm recently returning to touch screen WM devices after having a 6.1 smartphone for a few months.
I can't live without finger scrolling so i must ask, which is the best add on for finger scrolling? I used to use ftouchflo, it was ok, but it wasn't kinetic. Then i upgraded to ftouchsl, but it was quite buggy.
Now I see the touch diamond and touch pro/fuze as well as the lg incite with nice, built in kinetic scrolling. Is there any way to port such an add on to the Tilt? (The phone i'm using) or are there any good alternatives?
Thanks!
does anyone have any input on this or is this sub forum just dead?
I've tried all different types of add ons and i'm really just looking for some users' opinions.
it's christmas lol wait and see what people say later on today
I don't think there's anything better to use than the FtouchSL...
use HTC Touchflo instead of ftouchflo, or ftouchsl,. it have so many option anyway,.
I beleive that if you install TF2D found on the development and hacking forum it will include HTC Touchflo, which works great as far as I am concerned.
htc touchflo is far more superior than ftouchflo or ftouchfloSL. I have tried both on my Polaris. The kinetic scrilling in HTC is very good.
You have a HTC Tilt yes? If so, is touch scrolling enabled? (Settings->System->TouchFlo, if that doesn't exist, I suggest you flash a cooked ROM, most of which contain TouchFlo built in).

The only and big advantage ftouchflo/ftouchsl has over HTC touchflo is that it is cofigurable. while using the handwritten notes (I use PhatPad) the touch scrolling can be switched off while using ftouchSL/ftouchflo whereas it remains a pain in thw [email protected]# using it with HTC touchflo.
Thanks everyone. I had a hermes a couple months ago and when i put m2d on it, it didn't include touchflo for the whole system. Apparently it does now? I'll try an m2d rom on my tilt when it comes in a day or two and see what happens.
