Build Quality? - Touch Pro, Fuze General

Hi all,
I'm hesitating between a Touch Pro or a Touch HD.
I really like the real keyboard of the Pro but what about the build quality?
Is there any play in the keyboard mechanism? (even a slight one)
What about the rubber coating of the rear face? Does it start peeling easyli?
I've saw in a local retailer a touch pro with both of the bottom rear corners peeled, with no more rubber coating. Of course it was a demo device, but what about that is a normal use?
I don't want to buy a device which feels used in few weeks/ months (even if I'm quite fussy)
Thanks for your help!

[ASK] Touch Pro screen doesn't mend with the frame?

hi everyone,
i just got my Touch Pro, but i noticed that the flushed screen, on the right hand side, isn't mended well to the frame, where i could slightly see light from the screen coming out, especially in the room where it's dark
does anyone else experience this? it's just slightly and visible only in a dark room where there's no light except your Touch Pro. just worried someday, it may just collect all the dusts and let them in, going under the screen.
Yes, mine has that as well. I was a bit disappointed, but I'm hoping it's not a major issue, though using the case and a screen protector might help a bit.
For now, I use a piece of scotch tape (inserted thin-side into the crevices) to pull out any dust from time to time.
oh well, they should have done better on controlling, i didn't find it such issue on my diamond, well it's a different screen implementation after all, but the latter was better IMO

Q: Should I leave the bottom panel unprotected

Hello,
Until this morning I was using the screen protector that came with my Pro. And I don't mean the bundled protector you can apply yourself, but the one that comes applied while shipping lol.
But I did that because I know protectors are very very hard to put on without bubbles and dust, and it was indeed hard, I spend around 40 minutes to apply it.
The protector I'm using now is a Brando one, which I think it's excellent, from all the people who saw my phone today there wasn't a single one who noticed the protector.
Anyway, what I wanted to ask is that this only protects the screen itself, so the bottom touch panel is unprotected. Should I leave it like this? If not, what are my options?
One thing I noticed is that when I removed the original protector from the panel, I can finally use camera focus, so even if I use some kind of protection, I will probably need a hole for the center button.
The main reason I'm asking is because I read here some people saying the home and back buttons are peeling off, and I definitely don't want that to happen.
Oh, and no, using cases or any kind of outer protection is not an option. Phones are made to be pocket devices.
Thanks.
I have the zagg shield on and it covers the entire bottom plate plus the center button. Feels great and dont even know its there, no problem with the capacitive touch. Only problem is its on the expensive side, and the screen protector part is useless
Boxwave.
I have used many protectors over many phones. The Boxwave (there are two, I prefer the non-Anti-Glare one) is the most scratch-resistant I have used. For the Fuze (Touch Pro) it comes with the piece for the bottom (with a hole). I notice no degradation in sensitivity of the scroll wheel to zoom in Opera or to actually scroll in other apps. I wish it came with a piece for over the camera port, but that may not work on the brushed aluminum trim that is there.

[Q] Received a GOOD TF, but how to fix screen gap?

Hi,
My 4th (!) TF arrived and features very little light bleed (compared to two horrible ones I had prior, and one ok one), no stuck pixels, perfectly balanced stereo sound and no dust under the screen!
It is like winning the lottery!
However, it does have the screen gap issue. Can anyone suggest how to fix this, other than put sticky tape all the way down the edge? Is there some small rubber sealant that can be bought that would look like the Asus seal? I'd love to make sure it is sealed so no dust gets in as this one is NOT going back!
Thanks!

looking for a new bezel and back housing for the note pro

Hi,
So i bought a used Note pro and is rly nice but it has a damaged back Cover and bezel (the silver lining around the tablet ). I know from taking it apart that you can just swap out the hole thing. Problem is i can only find the black backcover but not the bezel. Maybe someone here has a hint where to get what i need?
EDIT: Just watched a video. It seems the pro is built differently than the 10.1 2014. They glued the screen to the bezel. That makes it near to impossible to just change the bezel. I'll have to live with a broken bezel then....

Some little superficial damage even on my used p-905. Though I paid 220 € with shipment, not disappointed. I was asking myself the same question about the bezel: thank you for saving my time! If you have like tiny scratches on the screen too consider applying official Samsung screen protector, it's perfectly trimmed and high quality (it hides moderate screen damages perfectly) and doesn't alter the feeling when drawing with pen which for me is a total must.

Photographers and videographers! Lots of questions about Mi 10 cameras.

Photographers and videographers wanted!
I'm considering buying my first Xiaomi phone (Mi 10 Ultra) and have no way of accessing one to demo. I have quite a few questions about the more advanced features of the cameras, based on what Xiaomi has done with previous phones (Mi 10 Pro, Mi Note 10, etc). I'm hoping people can answer them and thanks so much in advance!
- There should be RAW and full manual control on all four cameras, right?
- Focus peaking on all four cameras in both photo and video?
- Highlight warning on all four cameras in both photo and video?
- Is exposure bracketing and focus bracketing possible?
- Is rack focus possible?
- LOG video for all four cameras? (NOTE: I tested out a Note 9 and the LOG option was available on all four cameras, but the moment I actually selected it the camera automatically switched to the main camera. So no, LOG is only available on the main camera on the Note 9 I tested)
- Live histogram on all four cameras in both photos and video?
- Can you select the recording bitrate for video on all four cameras? If not, anyone know what the bitrate is for 4K video?
- Do 3rd party apps like Open Camera only have access to the main camera?
- GCam ports still have access to all four cameras using the "Auxiliary Cameras" feature in Gcam, right?
Non-Camera Questions:
- Due to the curved screen, are there problems with installing tempered glass screen protectors and touch sensitivity afterwards?
- Have there been any battery life issues when using the super fast charging capabilities?
- Have there been any issues with running the phone with 100% Western english apps? Mine is going to be coming from China with the Chinese OS.
Hi, I am not a pro photographer, but i manage to find settings for these:
- There should be RAW and full manual control on all four cameras, right? YES
- Focus peaking on all four cameras in both photo and video? PRO photo mode only
-Due to the curved screen, are there problems with installing tempered glass screen protectors and touch sensitivity afterwards? YES, Tempered glass is a pain in the ass, as it will leave gap with the screen, it will affect touch sensitivity and fingerprint recognition.
- Have there been any battery life issues when using the super fast charging capabilities? Nothing yet, just the phone is slightly warmer, depends on your room temp.
- Have there been any issues with running the phone with 100% Western english apps? Mine is going to be coming from China with the Chinese OS. If you changed to English, all settings and apps are in english and working fine for the moment.
Use hydrogel screen protectors. I did, they fit perfectly, touch and finger print works fine and best of all, they self heal from minor scratches. Got mine from AliExpress, £1.50 ish

I'm sorry this is wrong. Just like all other phones if you use a LOCA application tempered glass protector it works great. I'm using one now and the fingerprint sensor works the same as it did out of the box.
And I disagree with the "hydrogel" guy too. Proper term is TPU (hydrogel is a marketing term to make it sound like not an extremely cheap plastic). If you like screen protectors like that it's whatever. But they have a very weird texture, and don't protect as well as tempered glass from drops. But it's not BAD, I'd sure much rather use a TPU protector than nothing. It's easier to apply to a curved screen for sure.

I bought my tempered glass from Taobao (amazon in china) and they fit nicely at first, but when you put any casing on it (even the included one) it will push the edges of the tempered glass up, and that is when it starts to create gaps between the screen and influence the finger print scanner. Because I am a careless guy, so i will definitely need a casing (Xundd casing) so i had to remove the tempered glass and wrap my phone from mobileoutfitters.
I never use screen protectors. I like them raw. Lol
