So finally i have got round to sorting out my UC issues, so this Rom is UC capable(thanks to Sleuth)i have messed around with some ports to try and speed up the screen rotate, but with no joy so i have gone back to my original base again. But just a quick thanks to mbarvian for his help with that.

flash the emo radio first then try flashing the ROM...i had this problem with mbarvian's solace v2 but flashing the emo radio first should give you a successful flash.
the clock
is there anyway to switch this rom over to the clack closer to the PDS corner Rom. Reason being, I have very bad eyesight and the thin clock arms blend into the background too much for me.

I just installed this rom on my HTC TyTN II and have problem.
1. On screen keyboard is not showing on the first time, but in sms i saw a little arrow, changed to Full QWERTY and now is showing.
2. Slow working hardware keyboard, loosing letters when fast writing,
3. Problem with comm manager and wifi settings. I need to go to start- settings - wifi to set the wifi settings.
4. data connection is attachet to apn but in comm manager i can't disconnect it.
5. background of manilla is nice but... too bright and i can't see many text that appear on screen
6. comm manager will be nice with data push
7. changing to landscape is too slow
8. TCMP player won't run
9. My navigation (Automapa) program won't run
thats my opinion sorry for my english, and this is my first post in here...
i flash my phone several times a day and looking for rom that will be good for me...
had trouble w/ my navigation (oddysey) too. runs in landscape mode.
as for the keyboard, it's easier to use settings to set it into place, or if you hold down where the box normally is, it will end up popping up. nice touch.
any way to be able to access backlight easily? change mine all the time.
also, this rom sucks juice like it's going out of style? any suggestions on that?

I reinstalled my odyssey wrong, forgot I had to manually set it to portrait mode., maybe it was keeping the gps on, which was sucking juice? I dunno, I turned off hspda and 3g to see if it makes a difference.
like the rom but is there any way to play music throught the speaker and shut off the screen like on the old rom after the the lock screen came on the screen shut off but on this rom as long as music is playing screen dose not shut off and if you hit power button it stops media player unless you have in headphones

i am connected via wifi but cannot use windows live messenger it gives me an connection error unable to establish connection to the internet when i am confirmed connected via wifi?
hmmm for some reason i am having a problem flashing this rom to my tilt. Once it boots up from putting the rom on the phone gets stuck at the HTC screen, the furthest i can bring it from there is a screen thats all pixelated. any ideas what i could be doing wrong? the is the first time i have had problems installing any rom

Weirdly, my keyboard seems to be very unresponsive with this one. It keeps missing out characters when I type; button presses don't register.

Think it might have settled down a little now. Applied some performance tweaks using Advanced Config too.
Regardless, nice work Gullum. It's probably the best looking rom I've used so far, and it's got a nice set of features. It doesn't feel like the fastest I've used, but I'll give it a few days to gauge stability thanks to its looks!

One important thing I noticed - by default OK is closing everything, which is why the ROM felt slow.
Start - QuickMenu - Option - and untick "ok key to close program". I also turned of the X-Button tick.
Seems a lot snappier now - as it should be, it's not having to reopen apps all the time.
And it really does look stunning

Intro:
This is the third release of SNN. There have been a couple of fixes from the 2.0 version of this ROM. I've tested this ROM for about a week, it's stable for the most part. On a side note, I do not use bluetooth, so I can not say whether or not the bluetooth bugs have been fixed. I am satified with this release and may wait until a new build comes along before releasing another version of this series. I strongly recommend giving this ROM a try if you liked version 2.0 or even if you haven't tried it. Alot of touch applications have found there way onto this ROM. About running "slow".
For those that are having issues with my rom running slow, can you please describe by what you mean by "slow". I know that the inital boot of this rom is slow due to the fact that network wizard tries to configure your network settings and there is a pop up for S2U2. After the initial boot and once your network is configured, the rom shouldn't be running "slow". I've tested this rom for about a week on my device before releasing it and other than the initial boot/setup I haven't had any speed issues or it being "slow". So if you can give me an update on your device or if it is still slow please respond. thanks.

Most cooks, myself included, exclude the cube for the simple fact it takes up to much program memory. We only have so much available with the wizard and try to maximize it's function by leaving it off.

what's "TouchFlo Scrolling without Cube"? what it can be tested/tried on in this rom? or you have to have the cube to see it?
The general speed of the rom after setup is slow. the device hangs alot, launching programs tend to stall same from closing them.
pressing "x" doesnt close apps but just minimizes.
internet explorer stalls when loading pages and becomes un responsive.
These are the problems Ive come across so far but otherwise a lovely lookin rom....

have you tried a hard reset after installing the rom? at times there are some trash from the previous rom that we have used that makes our newly installed rom acts strange
after 5 long hoouuurrs of waiting I can finally install the rom... will tell if bleep's experience is the same as mine

This Rom is fantastic except, this is very important to some, In active Sync, there is no option to sync your PC with Bluetooth, only IRDA which does not work. you can send and recieve files via Bluetooth. Just cannot sync with Bluetooth. Why is notepad missing?

well i'm gonna save you the hastle, i didn't make any adjustments as far as changing .dll's to correct any problems from my previous release. I just cleaned up, more or less, icons and substituted some apps. I don't want you to go through the hastle of reconfiguring your phone for nothing.

Found one little glitch...
If you hit the x button in camera to exit - it takes you to the comm manager screen
tap the x again - and you are back to the home screen.
not a big issue, just posting my observations
Edit - phone froze trying to make this happen again, it got stuck opening the camera program, and just sat there, with the waiting icon spinning, and spinning......
Soft reset, and all appears good - the camera program now closes with the x - and you go straight to home screen.

Ie, it's not WinRAR, WinZip or anything. And the internet can't find an appropriate programme to use?? Any ideas?

I currently have this ROM running on a Dynamic PagePool. This ROM received a 1588 rating on GXMark. I have not ported the Diamond system, just some programs and looks!!!

A lot of Diamond Programs are causing problems, so a majority were removed. If you want to have them you can download the beta cabs throughout the forum
Diamond Album was removed due to the problem with the landscape mode and other slideshow problems. Will place back into the rom once it is working properly.
Fixed the annoying landscape problem when messaging!!!!
No more screen flickering when in standby for awhile

Well, it's running pretty well for me so far. I removed a load of bits and added a few packages for my own personal taste, and it's about as solid as any Kaiser ROM I've used - and possibly a little quicker.

That was my purpose of leaving in the .rgu's and proxml files.... Its a start, I basically wanted a basic ROM with a few goodies, now I am working on customizing the look with my new Adobe CS3 software
There must be something not right with .net. I tried installing .new 2.0 along with 3.5 and I am not able to some of my applications like banakarama and Schaps adv. config.
"cannot open "*". A critical component missing.....
My text goes away when I used the slide our keyboard. I can't see what I'm typing or options in drop-down menus and stuff like that.

I'm not sure why bankarama is not working....just tried myself and got the same error message????
ABout Shaps Adv Config use the Kaiser Tweak installed already in the tools menu and it works fine. Personally I like Kaiser Tweak better as if something changes you only need to change the XML file.....

Thanks for the imput....didn't even notice that when I tried....just so used to using my stylus now I don't use the keyboard that much. I"ll look into that also......

i had the same problem but ive come to notice that only happen when u have the cleartype turned on for landscape mode , im guessing its an issue with the roms cuz ive had the same issue with more dan one....... try turning off the clear type and im sure ull see some improvement
ROM has a very nice feel to it. After trying several PP sizes, it works fastest for me set to dynamic. No issues to report as yet. Good job...
I really like this rom. Everything working very well no problem. There was a little issue on MS VC, I fixed it.

HOW TO FLASH
You first MUST BE HARDSPLED (More detailed HardSPL guide, courtesy of Apreincher!)
Flashing through SD (Must be flashed through SD Card):
You must be HardSPL, first!
Your storage card will hopefully be lower than 4 GB, or else it might have trouble locating the file. If your storage card is larger, you can partition it to be smaller. Also, no SDCH cards will work.
You must format that storage card to FAT32.
Now, you download the ROM (and uncompress it if it’s a .7z, .rar, or .zip file).
Place the downloaded and uncompressed ROM file (.NBH) into the root of your storage card. Also, you must rename it HERAIMG.nbh. (Captialized)
Put the SD Card into your phone, and with your phone turned on, hold the camera button down. While holding the camera button, press and release the soft reset button. Keep holding the camera button until a new, white screen appears.
This screen that you’re on will have a white background, with blue letters. It will search for your HERAIMG.nbh file, and once it finds it, it’ll give you 10 seconds to answer yes.
To flash the ROM, when it asks you if you want to flash this, press down on the volume slider. Weird, eh? Just do it.
Now, let it flash for a good 10 minutes.
Success! Press any key. Press down on the volume slider again, and you’re on the color screen now. Hold the power button to turn off the phone, and then turn your phone back on. Welcome to your new ROM!

ttran did it in one of his older ROMs. He used the MortScript method for doing it. He wound up abandoning it, though, because it sucked up too much RAM and because it didn't always work as expected.
M2D is designed only for keyboardless devices, so it makes sense that there is no official landscape support for it. I've toyed around with some of the options, including the one that you're using here, but none of them work perfectly.
Not trying to discourage you or anything. I really hope you can get it working (preferably without flaws). I'll definitely be giving this ROM a shot.
I think there's like three or four (this one, another one from you, one from Tony, and FingerMe 0.5) ROMs in production that I'm anticipating right now. These are great days for our little Wings. lol
Yeah i know what your saying. There isn't offical m2d landscape but idk if it will ever be pefect. its definitely better then no landscape however. I wasnt a big fan of the OTP way since it had to re start touchflo everytime you went back to portrait. We will see how it goes!
With the previous version of manilla 2d there was a theme on kidnamedalberts M2D theme thread called the "diamond gold blend theme" that had a working real landscape. It worked well most of the time but the theme is not supported with the newer version of manilla 2d. This rom defintiely looks good and I'll be giving it a try when it comes out!
Judging by the intel and photos,This ROM seems the closest cooked ROM, that could pass for an official release with the touch flo actually working in landscape.
One of the key faults of no landscape view in touch flo that I've ran into, is that it often freezes up when I'm clicking on sms and sliding out keyboard to type, or IE doin the same thing.
As I told Ill, I think this ROM, may just be the thing that brings the WING / Harald to its penecle of efficency, UI friendliness, and functionality. Can't wait to see what happens with it! Great Job Man!

So which version of m2d is this that has the 2.6 skin? And does the Commanager have the bug that Back2Basics has?
This is the old M2D with 2.6 theme. And this is just a "Alpha" Release so the Comm Manager Problem is still there. You just have to go into setting to turn off wifi right?
Yeah you can still get to it in the settings. It'll turn on in the commgr, but it wont turn off, and the switches don't work.
