Call Fillter with BUSY TONE in wm6

I think that a useful call filter have to send immediatly BUSY TONE without ringing or voice mail.
On wm6 there is no call filter able to send busy tone immediatly.
SmartFilter (Novosec) works only in wm5
Anyone knows anything similar in wm6?

And also interests me stably working proga on WM 6 for blocking of not desirable calls, desirably the same simple as Smart Filter 1.3

too heavy program and not comfortable to my mind IMHO!

SmartFilter ISSUE
I have wm5 ROM "lite version" for Qteck tornado, I find builted in smartfilter 1.3
if I will upgrade to wm6, smartfilter will work well? ...or I will loose the simple functionality to filter indesiderable calls?
Someone could help me and suggest to upgrade or not?... to be or not to be.... this is my filtered problem

If you flash WM6, you lost all data on you phone, except storage card. Thats why you not be able to use programs from WM5 rom on you phone with WM6. Any way, smartfilter 1.3 doesn't work on WM6.

thks, I just send an Email to Novosec's in order to obtain a release date for smartfilter for wm6.... I will keep U posted

Sending anonymous sms

I've been looking for an application for my pocket pc that can send an anonymous sms but also be able to pretend that it came from someone else.
I enjoy messing with my mates
Anyone got any ideas or know anything about how this could be possible?

I don't think that can be done from your mobile. you best use a internet based sms company. I think there are some sites that send free sms

I think VJ has sumthing on his website.
I think it's called Class 0 SMS. I know for a fact that you can't save a Class 0 SMS but i'm not a 100% sure abou anonymity.

Ex: *conf#Hello, how are you?

I tried Hushsms and it works great, I can have quite a bit of fun messing with my mates.
It would be awsome if it had a feature to send the sms to 1 friend make it seem as if it came from another friend but for now I can still have quite abit of fun.
The other little issue is that you can only send the sms anonymously to someone with a pocket pc phone....on normal phones your number comes up.

*conf# seems only work in your country.

It keeps showing my no on my Friends Ppc Phone
wht do i do so my no doesnt show on his ppc Phone

The only thing that you have to do in order for your number not to to show up on your friends PPC is to make sure that you tick class 0 before you send the sms.
What happens if you send to yourself?
Are you sending to a PPC or a windows smart phone?

I have a Tilt & sending it to a Tilt also
I go to Programs then click on HushSms Icon
It opens & i Tic the class 0 like u said
Type a Hi in it & then can chooe who u want to send to from ur phone book
& the no appears like this eg: (212) 123 4567
do i need to type the No in like this :- 001 212 123 4567 ?
& for International :- 001 44 12345 67890 (Thats uk CODE)

As far as I know it shouldn't make adifference How you type the number as long as you tick class 0.
The reason is that the class 0 sms doesn't come through as a normal sms, it comes through as a message from network. Example. When your battery is going flat a message pops up at the bottom of your screen to let you know, then it just disapears.
Maybe the Tilt doesn't support class 0 sms.
Do you know anyone with another ppc phone that you can try send to?
There is another app called flashsms that does the same thing, maybe give that a try.
Let me know if you come right otherwise I will try investigate a bit more into why this is not working on the Tilt.

I just found this in another thread that might explain the problem that you are having.
I don't know if it's true or not but this is what this guy says.
I personaly find it hard to believe but I suppose it could be true.
"your operator can modify setting of the messages you are sending and autoconvert class0 messages to normal SMSes and this not a problem with HushSMS app, but your operator."
If you want to have some fun with anonumous sms send me a mail and ill give you a link to an interesting site.
I would prefer not to post it on the forums as some people tend to use this sort of thing for other reasons besides for having a little fun with your mates.

I also tried hushsms with my provider Orange NL, it doesnt work.
It sent the messages, and the customerservice saw the messages in the system, and I have been charged for it, but they don't arrive!

I use HushSMS v1.0 and regardless of who I send the msg's to it only displays the number I choose, I could even write a name i.e from 'santa' and this is how it display before and after they open it, if you do a google search for 'hush sms v1.0 you should find it to download quite easily ;p

IM program & emoticons in SMS

Two questions:
1. Looking for a IM program for the Diamond2, like IM+ all-in-one messenger or Fring... but one that's free, and is finger friendly. Also, fring doesn't work on the Diamond2, so that's a problem too.
2. Is there a way to use emoticons in SMS? They appear as textual letters now, and not as a graphic... this works well in most phones.

Really? I had many problems on my device... so weird... can you give me a link to the exact file you used? I can install it, but the registration screen is cut off so I can't register and login... please help
I'm using Palringo, but it saves your credentials on their servers, as well as message history. Privacy is not their strong side...

Call Firewalling

Greetings,
Don´t know if it is a problem with WM 6.5, but Call Firewall doesn´t seem to work anymore.
Any ideas out there for a nice proggie to do call firewalling, based on black lists / unknown / private callers etc ? What are you guys using for that atm ?

I previously was using call firewall on my touch HD with 6.5 energy rom and it works fine.
Have not tried of my current HD2 though......

Call firewall 1.4 - for me - works perfectly on my HD2

Well, that is at least interesting. I tried call firewall 1.4 too, and it installs, loads, but don´t work (eg. if I choose to block unknown calls for example, they don´t get blocked).
Really really strange. Tried on my TP2 with WM 6.5 and it didn´t work as well

Send and receive SMS from windows

I used to use mdesktop with my old HTC Diamond, but it doesn't work with the HD2! it doesn't send and receive the messages right, probably because it's using HTC's own sms application
Anyone know if there's some other software that CAN let me do that?
