Heya people,
I've been browsing through the diamond themes and I've tried a few.
The "original" HTC theme though still gives black letters with a black background on the music library of the player.. its quite annoying to browse that way..
Does anyone know how to change the font color or does anyone has a "fixed" version of the original HTC touch pro?
I'd really love to have the original TF3D theme, its still the best
Thanks in advance!
The same thing happens when you hit the Sound settings on the Settings tab and also when you go to Programs tab and then select All programs. Black on Black
Like this?
My music tab seems fine.

You have to use the library link in the bottom left. Top level fonts are in white but when you drill down another level it changes to black which just doesn't work.

When I open the Library I get black fonts but the background is white so it looks fine. The issue is probably with the theme you're using. Try sending a message to the theme creator and/or try a different theme.
and it also seems to work slower than most others.
do you guys feel that way?

Hi - did you ever find a solution to the black font on black background for the Music library and All Programs listing? I love the theme but would like to fix this also.
It seems that there should be a registry hack to fix this if not a tool.
I would like a fix also, it seems whenever I change my theme this problem occurs

I read on another post to get the glossy black theme, by changing this string.
Code:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Color\BaseHue=dword:0 default b0d57b in the MB rom.
my problem is that only change the top and bottom bar to black.. I also want to know if anyone knows the string to change the side bars and start drop menu to black or clear cause I use pocketbreeze and ilancher. thank you for input.
even if you change it through the registry, its gonna go back if you change the wallpaper or anything. Right now im working on a permanent black theme but havent been able to have any success.
I think it has something to do with the shell32.exe that I cannot modify with reshacker or Resource editor.
Anyone got any ideas?
Searching for black.
yeah after I use the registry string, the top and bottom bars of wm6 works as black and glossy but the side bars...and inbetween lines when you have other programs installed such as pocketbreeze and ilauncher the lines are still blue from the theme that comes with MB rom is there anyone to have them clear so it looks more tidy? or trying to get rid of that colour to black. As for pocket breeze if anyone wants to remove the lines in the tabs...you have to edit the skin.ini file.
Try This?
BaseHueExpress, Works 4 me.
Molski themes work on WM6
Shiny black bars

This theme, cyclic_blackbars.tsk has very black, shiny bars.
I don't know how it does it, because when I look at the menubar color setting in SKTools it says 137, but if you have any other theme up and you plug in 137 in the menubar color setting, you don't get this shiny black.
Maybe you can take the theme apart and figure more out from it.

I have not been able to duplicate shiny black with BaseHueExpress, nor have I been able to create a turquoise with it that really matches the Crossbow theme color.

I think this theme may have come from one of Molski's packages, so it may be in that Molski theme pack, but just the one I like, that has the shiny black bars, cool black-to-white shading on menu dropdowns and on popups, and a cool black, blue and gray wallpaper is below:
just make your basehue value to anything between 160 and 175 and u'll have shiny black bars, change wallpapers all you want after that, it'll remain shiny black. The problem is most theme generators dont let u assign values higher that 80 in greyscale for basehue...
There are a bunch of themes that have black start menus, black scroll bars though i havent seen yet, ill try that when i get home and see how it looks. If it looks ok ill post the theme but, again to get the top and bottom bars black ull have to change the basehue in the registry as the program i use to make themes wont let me assign a value higher than 80 for greyscale basehue.

I used basehue and than just took a picture with my lens covered and use it as background. Looks good, I'm sure there is a more high tech way to do it but this seemed to work fine.
thanks for share

I look at it ,,,,, now I see that there must be about 13-14 reg change to get done. ----Back to the original black background-----
I've just flashed my kaiser with the latest Dutty Roms (V.2) and now I can't seem to find a red theme anymore. I used to have that on the phone when I bought it, but it's gone.
Anyone know where I could find an all red theme with a clean red background that can be used with the HTC home plugin?
www.pocketpcthemes.com
or just google pocketpc themes or windows mobile themes
Yeah well, I've searched different 'theme' sites already, and they almost always have beautifull themes listed. But all seem to have anoying background images that don't go well with the HTC Home plugin. And a theme with a plain red background I haven't found yet.
I am looking for these too. You can get the blue one back from duttys cab list, but i don't know wher ethe green and red themes are!
You could also use the Theme generator (Freeware) to create your own. And, by the way, you can choose your own background in the today settings
A large collection of themes here at XDA

Maybe it has what you're seeking.

Thanks. Anybody got the complete red, blue, green themes as a complete OEM set, if DK is going to be pulling them out of his builds?

Here's green. The blue is the wm5 default theme. I don't have that tsk. I think the blue was just the default setting.
Woohooo excellent, thanks a lot.
I couldn't read anywhere... Is there a special file where you are supposed to download the tsk files? In my experience I can extract them anywhere and it works...
The second question is related to themes... If I install any tsk files I get fines orizontal blue lines in the background or email and sms. How can I fix that?
Put .tsk into Windows folder, modify .tsk files

1. .tsk files have to go into \Windows, pretty sure - I have lots on my storage card but they don't show up in the Today theme options until I move them into \Windows.
2. I found those horizontal blue lines in some of the themes I tried, e.g. T1000Chick which I really liked otherwise, but the lines made contacts very hard to decipher - so I imported the theme into a theme generator (I used ThemeGenCE), and changed the background colors and made them both the same (or you can make them nearly so and get a faint lined background that doesn't distract from readability of overlying text).
Blue default theme
Does anyone have hte blue default theme in a tsk file?

Themes will ABSOLUTELY show up in the theme window of settings from the SD card. They MUST however be in the root of the sd card & not within a folder.
I noticed in a HTC Diamond video on youtube that swiping your finger across the screen in TF3D animates to the next/previous tab, but mine seems to just change the screen without animation. Is this happening to anyone else? Is it a difference between devices or am I missing a setting or something else?
Here's the video, watch for when he slides to change tabs and the animation between tabs.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qefS3rKeViM&feature=related
HTC removed this animation with the diamond rom 1.93 (ergo on the pro as well) to improve the performance of TouchFlo 3d.
Excellent, thanks for the quick reply. I installed the htc black coloured theme using TF3D Config & got the animation back. Using the tweaks in this part of the forum, TF3D performance is improved anyway.

Landscape mode is the same as usual as in your avatar.
I found some bugs though; clicking on "all programs" from the "programs" tab and also the "5 day" softkey from the "weather" tab shows black text on a black background instead of the standard white background, which is kind of annoying. It's a nice theme though.
Here
Can you roll back tho?
Yeah, theres a button on TF3D config to "restore default" which will delete all of the custom manilla files, which makes the original ones set as the theme (they are built into the ROM and are never deleted), so you get the original theme back.
Can you post a new link of the animation file?
It doesn't work on my own!
Hi,
I searched, but find nothing Is there any way to make text on manila black? I don't need it on all tabs (but that also would be great), just on the main screen (black weather and callendar)
Cheers

If you dont like music tab gradient backgroung that doesnt go with your wallpapers use this tweak.
White Granite Marble HD Wallpaper.
Nice on mate , thanks!
Thanks alot, always disliked the way my music tab looked before and now that I know which manila file is the culprit I made a transparent one which goes well with my clean look.
Edit: Double post, due to browser freeze.
could someone please inform me which manila files contain the graphics for the play/pause, previous and next control buttons? i would like to reskin these to something more in keeping with my theme. uploading the gtx versions of these files i would also find useful. thanks in advance.
Oh and also do you know the files for the track progress bar ( the green one) i want to turn this blue.
