Anyone know the registry string for Black theme in wm6 - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario ROM Development

I read on another post to get the glossy black theme, by changing this string.
Code:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Color\BaseHue=dword:0 default b0d57b in the MB rom.
my problem is that only change the top and bottom bar to black.. I also want to know if anyone knows the string to change the side bars and start drop menu to black or clear cause I use pocketbreeze and ilancher. thank you for input.

even if you change it through the registry, its gonna go back if you change the wallpaper or anything. Right now im working on a permanent black theme but havent been able to have any success.
I think it has something to do with the shell32.exe that I cannot modify with reshacker or Resource editor.
Anyone got any ideas?

Searching for black.
yeah after I use the registry string, the top and bottom bars of wm6 works as black and glossy but the side bars...and inbetween lines when you have other programs installed such as pocketbreeze and ilauncher the lines are still blue from the theme that comes with MB rom is there anyone to have them clear so it looks more tidy? or trying to get rid of that colour to black. As for pocket breeze if anyone wants to remove the lines in the tabs...you have to edit the skin.ini file.

Try This?
BaseHueExpress, Works 4 me.

This theme, cyclic_blackbars.tsk has very black, shiny bars.
I don't know how it does it, because when I look at the menubar color setting in SKTools it says 137, but if you have any other theme up and you plug in 137 in the menubar color setting, you don't get this shiny black.
Maybe you can take the theme apart and figure more out from it.

I have not been able to duplicate shiny black with BaseHueExpress, nor have I been able to create a turquoise with it that really matches the Crossbow theme color.

I think this theme may have come from one of Molski's packages, so it may be in that Molski theme pack, but just the one I like, that has the shiny black bars, cool black-to-white shading on menu dropdowns and on popups, and a cool black, blue and gray wallpaper is below:

just make your basehue value to anything between 160 and 175 and u'll have shiny black bars, change wallpapers all you want after that, it'll remain shiny black. The problem is most theme generators dont let u assign values higher that 80 in greyscale for basehue...
There are a bunch of themes that have black start menus, black scroll bars though i havent seen yet, ill try that when i get home and see how it looks. If it looks ok ill post the theme but, again to get the top and bottom bars black ull have to change the basehue in the registry as the program i use to make themes wont let me assign a value higher than 80 for greyscale basehue.

I used basehue and than just took a picture with my lens covered and use it as background. Looks good, I'm sure there is a more high tech way to do it but this seemed to work fine.

thanks for share

I want my red theme back.

I've just flashed my kaiser with the latest Dutty Roms (V.2) and now I can't seem to find a red theme anymore. I used to have that on the phone when I bought it, but it's gone.
Anyone know where I could find an all red theme with a clean red background that can be used with the HTC home plugin?
www.pocketpcthemes.com
or just google pocketpc themes or windows mobile themes
Yeah well, I've searched different 'theme' sites already, and they almost always have beautifull themes listed. But all seem to have anoying background images that don't go well with the HTC Home plugin. And a theme with a plain red background I haven't found yet.
I am looking for these too. You can get the blue one back from duttys cab list, but i don't know wher ethe green and red themes are!
You could also use the Theme generator (Freeware) to create your own. And, by the way, you can choose your own background in the today settings
A large collection of themes here at XDA

Maybe it has what you're seeking.

Thanks. Anybody got the complete red, blue, green themes as a complete OEM set, if DK is going to be pulling them out of his builds?

Here's green. The blue is the wm5 default theme. I don't have that tsk. I think the blue was just the default setting.
Woohooo excellent, thanks a lot.
I couldn't read anywhere... Is there a special file where you are supposed to download the tsk files? In my experience I can extract them anywhere and it works...
The second question is related to themes... If I install any tsk files I get fines orizontal blue lines in the background or email and sms. How can I fix that?
Put .tsk into Windows folder, modify .tsk files

1. .tsk files have to go into \Windows, pretty sure - I have lots on my storage card but they don't show up in the Today theme options until I move them into \Windows.
2. I found those horizontal blue lines in some of the themes I tried, e.g. T1000Chick which I really liked otherwise, but the lines made contacts very hard to decipher - so I imported the theme into a theme generator (I used ThemeGenCE), and changed the background colors and made them both the same (or you can make them nearly so and get a faint lined background that doesn't distract from readability of overlying text).
Blue default theme
Does anyone have hte blue default theme in a tsk file?

Themes will ABSOLUTELY show up in the theme window of settings from the SD card. They MUST however be in the root of the sd card & not within a folder.

Gray line in WM6.1

Hallo, I have a question. Under the titlebar and above the bar with the calendar and the contacts in wm6 is a small gray line. Is there any way to remove it or to change the color?

Welcome to the forum
I used to have a bar similar to yours but in the upper part of the screen, and later I understood that was a very nice and dicreet battery meter, I´m not sure if in your case could be the same. If not try to reflas the ROM if it´s very anoying for you, otherwise I don´t think it´s a big problem...
I invite you to READ the Wiki.
Hope it helps and good luck,
lol.. that's amazing. i have been plowing my polaris for almost a year now and not once did i notice this bar. you must have very sharp eyes.
I don't remember seeing an option to change this bar in any of the color customizing applications i've stumbled into. you can use a different shell tho.. if you want to get rid of it.. like Wisbar Desktop Advance..
i might be wrong (it happens to us all haha) but this can be changed with UI tweaker (edit)? or do as Nir says and just change the theme
I already tested UI Tweaker, but there is no option to change this line. I thought this lines are the plugin seperators, but that was wrong.
Whit Wisbar Advanced this lines are black. That all I want, but with wisbar there are to many other changes I don´t like.
unfortunately i have no idea how you can change that.. as i tried UI Tweaker myself to see if it's possible and didn't manage.
RC Mod doesn't work either..
mmmm, if the lines really do your head in, change the colour of the top bar itself personally i use black (hence no lines) but i had to change the theme first.
I'm using the classicblack theme and i still have that bar.
my screen shot. I dont have the lines?

black color in wm6.1

whats is a color code for pure black bars in winmo 6.1? Im using very dark grey color shame but i know there is posibility to have pure black (glossy) ones.. (for example Glossy Black Bars from this forum, but when i sync via Activ sync, or do something that reloads UI (HTC Home) it goes back to standard light grey shame.) When im use, dowloaded also from this forum, black (very dark grey) sheme its ok, but still i want to have pure black ones . So anyone knows what to put into xml to have pure, glossy black bars? .
(im using HTC s740)
It is not a color scheme, it is controlled by the BaseHue, its a registry entry, however it will never stick if u change the homescreen or anything with the display settings, the registry key is:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Color
u need to change the REG_DWORD called BaseHue to 161 (it will probably change to 123, which is grey, whenver u change anything that have to do with display).
To make it simple for u, i made a cab with this registry entry, u can keep that file in a folder in ur phone and whenver u do something with display like changing the homescreen u can just run it and ull get the black glossy bar. The change is instantaneous.

Smartdial and Talk button Colors

Ok, I've seen this in some custom roms (not many) where the smartdial area and talk button are not this boring grey and green talk button. But, on older dialer's the smartdial color was just a bitmap to change it as well as the talk button. That doesn't seem to be the case now and I would like to see mods done with it or a tutorial on how to do it. Thanks.
Anyone? I have changed the smartdial04.bmp file and when I copy it to Windows, it doesn't change
Are you looking fore something like this?
I'd recommend Dinik's dailer 2.0. glassy buttons and clolored call and end keys, also beautiful in call buttons. check it out! keyboard cab is sweet too!
Thanks guys and I know of all Dinik's stuff. The area I'm talking about is the highlight where your phone numbers are (grey in color). Changing the color of that area. I've seen it on a few roms (ok, maybe one..NRGZ's) where it changed to blue. Which I know is indicated by Smartdial_04.bmp if I'm not mistaken. But, if I change that color and drop it into windows, the color of the selection bar is still unchanged.
realised i was wrong. post needs deleting

[Q] Accents and Color Customization

I have been recently messing around with the color accents on my phone. So far I have managed to make a nice Black, Red, Silver theme. However I am stuck with one key I cannot seem to find.
I have successfully managed to change almost all the text to red using these keys:
HKLM\ControlPanel\themes\1\
ProgressBarBackground
TextNeutralColor80
TextNeutralColor75
TextNeutralColor60
TextNeutralColor30
TextNeutralColor20
TextNeutralColor
ContrastColor
However I cannot seem to find the White text that displays on Tiles nor can I find the color that represents the actualy TILE in the call log or textmessaging. I know they are two separate registry settings because using an OLD advanced config I can easily change the tile color to say Dark Blue however the actual text color in the call log and text message area will still be the normal blue. Which is because the old one did not know where the other keys were. So does anyone know of the entire full list of Registry Keys for editing text colors?
Would be cool to see screen shots of your customizations
Sent from my SGH-i917 using XDA Windows Phone 7 App
Have you looked into the XAML files in \windows. There's a thread where someone mentioned these files are related to the themes/accents. The first 2 digits refer to the theme 00 & 01. The second 2 digits refers to the accent color. They somehow work with the registry values.
For more info, see this post.
Ok excellent. I will poke around in that particular file and see what changes what.
Being on an HTC I can easily overwrite in the windows directory so this should not be a problem.
As to a screen shot I will take a look at the new build of WDM and see if I can screenshot it.

Yes, WPDM lets you take screenshots. You must have the multitasking/dehydrate hack enabled though so it'll stay connected with TouchXperience running in the background when you change screens.
Unfortunately the values for what I am looking for is not in those XAML files. Apparently editing those only changes how apps read the accent colors and does not actually change the colors I am looking for.
The only colors I have left to change is one single value somewhere but I have done searches of the registry and through those Xaml files and they seem to not be there. :-/ It looks great right now, but would blend completely if I could just fix these last few.
I attached a few screens. You can see exactly where I still have a silver/grey text even though it should be red.

If I'm not mistaken some of the fonts are semi transparent, white with the black bg showing through. The first 2 digits are the alpha transparency value. I believe FF is solid where 00 is fully transparent. Another thought, is they look to be the same color of the button icon bar. Either way, looks nice.
