I'm just in the middle of a talk with a supplier to get a HTC Touch pro into my hands and i was looking for a bit of advice from some of the early adopters
the hermes was found to develop a few common issues with the first few batches, does this seem to be the case with the raphael too?
also,
If i was to purchase the touch pro today, could i go and swap the back cover of the touch pro with that of the vario 4? (i.e. the 'smooth' cover) i dont really like the whole multi faceted business going on

I know the flat back from the O2 variant does not fit on an unbranded device..
Besides - the Vario IV is a different shape from the unbranded no?

You may think there are so many cases for the MDA Compact IV touch diamond but i am looking for the original carry pouch for the MDA, as i missed placed the one i got, is there anyone that wants to sell theres. None of the suppliers stock it for some reason.
Having seen the carry pouch supplied with the MDA, I think you'll probably be offered loads.... its horrible, and more than a bit, err, girly.
My sister wants the phone so i can get the touch pro so the pouch be perfect for her and it go well with her ipod sock, dont ask

Is possible to exchange full housing HTC Touch Diamond to MDA Compact IV? I want to keep htc hardware but to change only packaging. Anyone has this experience?
Is the hardware not exactly the same anyway?
Also the buttons on the MDA are the opposite way round (phone and home buttons).
Probably less hassle to sell the diamond and buy a compact.
I have a brand new HTC Touch Pro for sale. The box was opened but none of the software, accessories or the phone has been touched. I just got a Fuze through my company and this Touch Pro was shipped to me Brand new as a replacement for one that was defective. I have been using a touch pro since they came out several months ago. I do not need two and I want to stick with the Fuze for the 3G here in the States. $450 US takes it! This is a great deal for an unlocked HTC unbranded Touch Pro. This is the HTC model with the front facing VGA camera. Thanks Ryan

I just took these. Nothing has been opened except the box to make sure everything was there. The plastic on the screen has not been removed and the phone has not been taken out of the little tray it sits in. This is as good as it gets... No stories, I just do not need it now. scratch??? I am a rediculously picky engineer and there is NOT single a scratch on this phone. The black anodized screen case is flawless.

It's dust on the plastic screen protector.
If anyone seriously wants the phone, I will try to take any detailed pics they want. I really don't know what else to say other than, the phone is new...

I'm hoping someone can help, I've been without my touch pro for about a month now after I sat on it whilst drunk and smashed the LCD!!!
I've been trying to find someone who sells replacement LCD's and not been able to find anyone. Does anyone know where I can get one?
I have managed to find a Diamond one quite cheaply on ebay, but does anyone know if it compatible with the touch pro? I've looked at my friends diamond and from the outside looks the same. It also has the same dimensions and specs.
I hope someone will be able to help, I'm having to use a crap SE T280i which can't even go on the net!!

It might be possible to get it warranty repaired by HTC, or at least repaired by them (you may have to pay for it if the warranty doesn't cover it).
What country are you in, as that will make a difference to shipping and availability.

I have a similar query too. Do diamond lcd ( Not digitizer ) fit to at&t fuze?
Just because, diamond lcd screen are cheaper then fuze.
As far as product image, both looks same but need someone to confirm if it works for fuze also. Please help to save few $$$.

yees, mine too... did a bad thing to the screen so it has 3 blue spots due to extreeme presure to the screen.
found lot of stuff in eBay but I don't recommend it because I once ordered a battery replacement (made in HongKong) for my TouchPro and it wont perfectly fit. So it kind of shocks me to shop in eBay...

I brought at&t digitizer from hongkong and its perfect. I don't think all the items from hongkong are bad. And most of things I brought from hongkong ( ebay ) were perfect, especially car products.
unfortunately I broked lcd, digitizer and flex cable while I was installing new digitizer. So now I have to buy new flex cable and lcd ( without digitizer ) which costs nearly 70$.
Already brought flex cable but suck on buying lcd. Just waiting to confirm.
Edit; Just now got reply from a diamond lcd screen seller. He said, we have asked the manufacture, and they told us it can not be used. So this should be clear but I already brought fuze lcd screen too as I don't wanna suck.

Does anyone know if the main-body structure of the touch diamond from Sprint and T-Mobile are the same?
They look the same, but the reason I am asking is that the back casing of the Spring is deeper with bigger battery and it would be nice to get one for my UK version which has the puny battery!

I myself tried that already. Im on tmobile USA and bought the mda compact 4 from tmobile uk. The sprint touch diamond has a different back altogether to the mda 4. The bottom part on the mda 4 cuts off where the sprint one extends further. I hope that makes sense just check out the pics.
