You can manage this problem by copying these files...
1.Backup your system ( for your protect your files and system)
2.Download this file...
3.Open 10 files inside...
4.Copy them to your Windows folder in your TP...
5.And SofReset..
I hope it works .I solved this problem with these...

I was just updating my I-mate SP5m with some new programs....
I tried to unpacking a WMP skin. It asked me to choose a program to open the .CAB file, so I chose Window's Media Player (my stupidity)
Now I can't open .CAB Files. It automatically try’s to open ALL .CAB FILES WITH WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER...
How do I fix this problem?

you should edit the link to cab files. for example with binaries smart explorer. i guess you (or a program somehow) set a link to the media player which doesnt make sense of cause.. if you use menu <open> - <manage file types> you can check if cab is in the list and delete the link to it.. after that the cab file should be installed by the system again.

Yesterday i cleaned my application data\home, cause there where lots of themes i installed and didn´t use. I make a big mistake deleting the nomru.home.xml . This whas one of the Original Windows Mobile 6 themes. Googled a lot, but didn´t find a page to download this file.
So please, can someone upload this file for me ? It´s the one without the application shortcuts at the top.

Go to yours device \Windows directory with file explorer, unhide rom files, there is your missing file nomru.home.xml, just copy it to \Application Data\Home.
Use for example Resco Explorer.

I searched everywhere on just a simple guide and nothing : /
copy the cab file to device (storage card) and run it
1. download the cab file
2. copy the cab to your phone
3. use file explorer and select the file
4. choose where to install
5. and you're done

I got the BsB tweaks but it's a RAR, unpack it but there's not .cab...kind of new here. never had problems with previous smartphones but this one is puzzling..thanks

.cab files could be opened with WinRAR
oops, ok fixed it. I was downloading to laptop then transferring. must download directly to htc hd2...sleepless nights do wonders
Hello, i have Android 9, MIUI 11.0.7.0. Some downladed files in pdf have a 0B, but files is corrupted when i try open downloaded file, but before that they were all right. What is a problem ? autodelete files ?? Thanks
