You know, just like the iphone......
I've searched the forum, with not much to show for. I've seen some possible solutions but none of them worked for me. I don't want to buy a bluetooth headset because it consumes more of my precious energy. I don't want to buy a wired headset with these features integrated unless I absolutely believe I have no other choice. So the solution that failed was using voice commander to pop up when I pushed the headset button, so that I could tell it to skip a track (or anything else for that matter). This was because it never did pop up, even when I tried with talkbutton detector 0.3. So is there a way to make the wired headset do this by default or does anybody know how to enable voice command by clicking the button, because I don't want to reach into my pocket to change tracks, thanks 12
just buy the headset... € 34,- are well worth the functionality.
Ik ga deze zelf ook aanschaffen...

I go bike riding (pushbike, not motorbike) with groups of people sometimes, and we've been listening to music using the built in speaker of my BlueAngel. Of couse the volume isn't great especially once it's safely back in it's holster.
So while we were out the other day, we started thinking of solutions.... We started wondering if bluetooth could be useful to us.
Can we play music out to ordinary bluetooth headsets?
Can we send to multiple headsets at once?
Extending onto the idea, is it possible to use bluetooth headsets as intercom type things (using some software on the BA maybe)?
I don't have any bluetooth devices beyond the BA, so I can't test
In case it matters, Im currently running 2005 on my device. I am considering going back to 2003SE though... Is there anything I would need to know in that department?
No one knows?
Anyone with access to multiple bluetooth headsets or sets of bluetooth headphones able to see if you can do it?
try doing a search for a2dp
most of what you are asking have been
up 1024 times before
doubt you would find info about anything but the first q though
the others i dont think is possible
also bluetooth headset range seem to crash and burn after 2-3m
personaly i use these

they work for me
Hello,
I'm using an Atom with WM2005 and the BT headset R35 from i-tech. This allows you to control the wm player via bt. By starting the voicedial from the standard button on the BT HS, i encounter unbearable sound problems and the sound from MS Voice command 1.6 is not transmitted at all... I don't know why, but that's the case.
When I start the voicedial from my phone instead all the rest works perfectly via BT. Means, I can not use the standard button from the BT HS. Therefore my idea: Activate voicedial from a different BT button, there are enough, for instant the one that pause and resumes the wmplayer. The button also wakes the phone up.
Any idea if this is possible? can i change a registry entry to handle this event or use a tool, like the one to reprogram the hardware buttons???
Any experiences, or similar problems?
Cheers
Ellork
hello i have a HBH-DS 970 sony and it work good but i have a probleme and i know that i am not alone .
when the heaset is detected the phone purpose handfree and wireless stereo if i put handfree and wireless stereo i don t heard the ring on the phone only on the headset if i put only handfree the ring is on the phone (very good ) but when i want to listen music i must be configurate bluetooth et put wireless stereo to .
nobody can make a today plugin to have choise handfree or wireless stereo on the today screen.
thanks to your comment sorry for my english
sud the little frenchy
sud, this is a problem for all of Windows Mobile. The best solution I have is to put a BT icon somewhere on your today screen, so that at least with one click you can get to configuration and set "wireless stereo".
I usually put the BT icon in my system tray.
Funny, my Wizard will switch between handsfree, and stereo headphones when there is a call, or listening to music on my DS970 with no problems. I don't need to do anything.
Doesn't do it on my Universal though. As he says, you have to manually switch.
I am guessing there is a registry setting or 2 somewhere that will resolve this.
thanks for your interested for this probleme.
the bluetooth icone can be put on today screen but i search a solution for put an icone handfree and an other wireless stereo or like said alanJC maybe in the registry.
to be continued
@AlanJC: I understood the problem to be... well, the problem that I have! Maybe I misunderstood. It's not that if you are in 'wireless stereo' for music you can't auto-switch to 'hands free' for voice, and back again. It's that you have to set 'wireless stereo' in the first place, whilst 'hands free' seems to work by default.
@sud: I've never seen the Today icons you are looking for... and I've looked too. Great idea. PLEASE post here if you find them.

Hi, has anyone been able to do anything with the button on the stock hads-free headphones that came in the package?
Right now all i can do is click the button once and answer calls or double click to call the last number.
I want to, for example, hold it and activate voice dialing or MS Voice command.
Maybe I missed something.
Come on people what does that stupid heaphones button do on your diamond??
Looks like redialling and hanging up is all the thing can do. I was a bit miffed about that too, but then I don't use the wired headphones that much.
HTC has for sale another set of headphones which allow you to control the music player, and also use regular headphones (don't remember if 2,5 or 3.5 jack). They are available in Romania.
Heyhey,
Although there are a few threads on this which I have googled my way through, none of them seemed relevant, or looked way out of date.
I have Microsoft Voice Command installed, and it used to work just fine. Now however, I press the button on my bluetooth helmet, or my bluetooth car kit... nothing happens. A long press results in redialing the last person I called.
Voice command does work if I press and hold the button on the phone itself, but this isn't very practical (if at all possible) on my bike.
Was just wondering if there is a way to make it work again? Perhaps there is a way to remap a long press on the bluetooth device to activate MSVC?
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks a lot,
Chris
its short press for me. really short press. if i press for about a second on my headset it redials last number, if i press it for less its voice command.
Thanks for the reply =]
Unfortunatly it's a no go for me with that one. But was worth a shot!
It really depends on the headset. I've heard of people having problems before, and they usually are due to assigning Voice Command to something other than long-press of the Send key.
Try placing Voice Command back in its 'original' place and press your headset again.
Thanks all for the replies.
It now works with my handsfree in my car (I reflashed with a different ROM, and it seems to get on better).
The bluetooth helmet still doesn't accept voice commands, but I'm starting to think it's a limitation of the helmet, rather than something wrong with my phone.
Thanks anyway.

What Brand/Make of helmet do you own? I was looking at a bluetooth enable helmet, but if it isn't compatible with voice dialing, I'll probably look elsewhere.
Thanks.
Hiya,
Its the Viper RS V121 Blue 2 helmet. You can intercom via bluetooth if the pillion also has the same helmet which is pretty cool - although it is not a quiet helmet for anything above 50mph!
Still cant make it work through voice by using the button on the helmet though.
