To switch to silent mode put the phone screen side down. It will mute incoming call and SMS. Alarm clock will be workng as usual. For example it is very good when you in conference or when you sleep.

But I cant get it to work

Hi all , I'm using an s7 edge , android 6.0.1 and I'm having a problem with the mute in whatsapp , in whatsapp group settings I set it to mute but I'm still getting a " beep " on my phone , I've set it to silent , no vibration , no pop up , no led and it still " beeps " never had this issue on my Lg g3 using same settings , anyone have an idea ??? Thanks for using my app.
My parent's device ringtone level goes down by accidental clicks, but then this app comes to the rescue. It maintain 100% ringtone volume.
