original HTC ROM

probably already asked before but cant find a thread. where can i find an original version of my ROM for HTC (own brand) S710 (currently running 1.15.405.2) or can i make a copy of it. i am about to flash it to a 6.1 version, but just want to make sure i have a fail safe option just encase i brick it.

I use HTC_S710 of Russian, but when i up rom wm 6.1 keyboard qwerty are ERRO. when i click i -> o , u -> i , y -> u.....
May you help me to keyboard fix.

Touch Pro Hardware-Keyboard: How-to switch language?

Hi,
First of all, SORRY for posting here, I know it´s not okay. But I simply can´t get any answer at all to my question.
I want to know how to switch back to german hw-kb layout after flashing a WWE ROM. I already tried a CAB, but it didn´t change all of the keys. And reassigning every single key with some tools is possible but just annoying.
What about extracting this from a Stock ROM ?
And in general, what about doing such CABs for all languages and make a Sticky Post, like done with all Stock packages?

It seems as Schap's Advanced Config changes another registry key which only applies to older devices.
The above worked for me, Elite RC3 ROM on a german HTC Raphael.

You can modify the hardware keyboard layout in this Registry Key:
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\KEYBD and change the value in the CurrLang attribute.
Go here http://msdn.microsoft.com/de-ch/goglobal/bb895996(en-us).aspx and find the desired value for your layout.

Would this tweak work for WM 6.5 hardware and software keyboard key mappings? At the moment I have official FR 6.1+2.1 on the phone (no cooped ROMs).
I want to download an English WM 6.5 ROM but keep the FR layout.
Please help me.

Its simple bro,Just Flash your desire rom and install This :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=490290 to set up keyboard for your device fuze or raphael...
Then change this key:HKLM\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\KEYBD\CurLang
CurLang=1036 (look out to be in decimal)
With you registry editor(im using CeRegEditor)
Then soft reset your device and you are ready...
Im using also Fr layout in my raphael...

hahahaha...Like it bro....:

It worked like a charm, all the keys are working, but I still have 2 things I would like to solve.
1) I would also like to have the soft keyboard changed from EN QWERTY to FR AZERTY
2) Is there a way to install the T9 dictionary for French too?
I have been searching for the .cab but I was not able to find one for WM6.5.
Any help would be appreciated.

i have patched my phone with: HyperDragon IV IOLITE

It genraly it works great but.
I have createt an new imap account and can reseave mail over this account (now after reboot it works)
but i can not make any settings for it.
The Mail profile ins to find under tools -> options
there are only the settings for sms / mms
have someone an idea how to fix this?
An other Problem i have is.
That the Hardware Keybord now hase an english layout.
z and y are swapped. Can i tel the Phone that i have an german layout printed on it.

The z and y are right but all FN keys are wrong.

Fn fix??

I recently installed Windows Phone 6.5: HyperDragon IV Mega 6.5, and I am from Sweden and I successfully fixed so that åäö work with "XDA_JCEspi2005_Sweden_Input_Kaiser.cab" but now I ran into another problem. Only keywords that works through Fn are åäö, and it was like that before I installed "XDA_JCEspi2005_Sweden_Input_Kaiser.cab" too so it wasn't that one that ****ed it up. Anyways I've read somewhere how to fix it but I can't seem to find it again, so now I ask here instead.
Does anyone know how to fix support for Fn button keywords? (? # ( ) = - ! % * etc.)

How to change keyboard layout from QWERTZ to QWERTY:
- HKCU\ControlPanel\Keybd\DefaultLayout -> change it 00000409
- HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Layouts\e001ffff\Keyboard Layout -> change to 00000409
- Reboot... you now have the latest and greatest wm6.1 english rom!

no, they are very much different. don't ever try, it will break your q8.

When i try to change with other software does not save the changes after reboot.
I have a Portuguese Motorola Q9h.
Someone can help me? With this firmware i have the "y" and "z" error...

dude, you need to scroll down towards the settings and try to like read the choices as if it is in english. you need to go to language settings and select us english or something like that then after reboot you are in for a ride... goodluck!

I dont like this wm6.5 verson. Still have some things in chinese after change language, just like the "new sms" and "new mms". Other problem on this firmware is the branding...

but that chinese windows cant change font to standart and change became kanjui font and i dont understand

I wrongly flashed my Q9h with WM 6.1 AT&T updates with sim lock from motorola software update site. Now my device is locked. How to remove this lock? Anyone can help?
