What software are nice on the Sony Ericsson X1? - Touch Pro, Fuze General

Hi guys,
for those whom have had hands on the X1 or happened to have the roms of this device, what apps are nice on them which we can used on our Touch Pro?
I happen to have the roms of these devices. So if there are any goodies in their rom, let me know, i will extract it out.

Mod, please delete this.
Unpacked 4 X1 roms and found nothing useful other than sodoku, bejeweled 2...
not useful at all for a rom with 200+mb in size ...
Thanks...

Omni Pro Samsung Today Screen

Hey everyone.
I was wondering if anyone would be able to extract the homescreen from the Omnia pro, to get it with the Touch Pro 2 or HD or Diamond 2?
Its the one from here:
http://pocketnow.com/software-1/samsung-omnia-b7610-home-screen-interface-tour
NOT the widgets one, but the simpler one.
In this video:

It is at 4:50.
Thanks everyone!
The rom for Omnia pro is available, so if it is simple and someone can tell me how I will try and do it.
it would be great if someone could extract from the rom and make a cab.
+1 here!
Agree, looks very nice...
That's why we need to keep pushing for non-HTC forums here on XDA!

Hard to decide between three phones

X10, N900 or HD2.
So now I need you guys and gals to help me solve this problem; which one to buy ? Last one I had was Kaiser, and it was god awful, but I loved it anyway and HTC made phones has got this site as a plus side and ehh... TOO HARD
just a good list of pros and cons would be good because I don't know any of them, since I have been out of this scene for a long time and haven't had time to follow any reviews. Has there been any problems with drivers or anything with any of those phones ? How is the build quality etc, can I upgrade X10 to A2.2 ?
Personal experiences are more than welcome, specially if you have tried all three phones.
like a hard keyboard: N900 runs with Linux and nice interface
wanna play around with an easy interface: X10 running android combined with sony ericsson games and apps
like a big screen with big processor: out of the three i would go with this devices because of it's big screen making it good for watching movies and browsing xda also it is very fast with it's 1Ghz processor!
I would go for Leo with no doubt as it´s HTC and very powerful device with nice big screen!
Have a look here to make a detailed comparision
Can I upgrade Android like Winmo ? Just flash it and it's done ? I read somewhere that this isn't like in WinMo and I would hate to wait until SE releases new version to their devices : / And I also read that there is some hardware related multitouch issue with X10 ?

Android is a bit different in that you have to obtain 'root access' before flashing a custom ROM - think 'run as administrator' on a PC. You also get a recovery partition which you can flash and put enhanced features on, which can be nice.
Basically, once you get root and flash a HardSPL then you can flash a new ROM as easily as WM - easier in fact, as you normally do it by SD card.
Anyway, you won't be able to flash a HardSPL or a custom ROM until that root is available, which it currently isn't for the X10 (although it's only a matter of time, really).

Android on the Vivaz Pro

Sorry if this is in the wrong place.
For Christmas Santa was very kind to me and gave me a Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro. It has a great keyboard, can record HD video, and has built in wi-fi. The one thing I absolutely hate about this phone is that it runs Symbian.
Some quick Googling showed me that it has not yet been done.
My question is, can android from some other Sony Ericsson Android phones be ported to the Vivaz pro?
Thanks,
Matt
I have the same probem. Symbian sucks;p
Sorry Guys. But There will never be a Android-Version for Vivaz. Maybe wait for Vivaz 2. This will be sold with android.
maybe when the vivaz 2 is out someone will port it to the original vivaz. hopefully
Can anyone post Android from Xperia PRO to Vivaz PRO ... I mean they both have HW keyboard so ... or is even anyone working on porting any Android on our Vivaz Pro? I d love to have android there ...
My friend has SE Vivaz mobile.. Is there any custom Android OS which can be installed on it.??
I've got same problem... I've found out that we can't install Android on our Vivaz, because it needs more than 74 MB of phone memory. I'm sorry to know it and I'm affraid we have to give up

[Q] Porting for Xperia mini to HD2

Hi I have a HD2 with custom Winmo Rom and an android sd setup. It's all working fine and great but my wife has an xperia mini pro and I really love the UI. The homescreen and general layout are so clean and looks good.
I was wondering if it's possible to port the mini pro's os and make it compatible with the HD2?
If so some advice would be helpful. I followed the sticky to the guides but the links wouldn't work.
Thanks in advance

[Q] Kernels/Roms?

Hi guys I recently acquired the xperia M2 (D2303) and a previous owner of the xperia L (C2105)
I was looking around the forum and noticed there is not a lot of kernels or roms for this device.
So I was wondering is that because it is an unpopular handset or is there another reason?
Thanks
From what I know, Sony took a while to release the sources needed to start development. After that, work on CM started almost immediately.
But yeah, it's not really a popular device. Which is kind of a pity, I'm really satisfied with it (except for that bluetooth issue, but it seems I'm alone on this, so it's probably a lemon).
On the other hand the Sony ROMs are really not that bad, so I don't know why I'd want to switch to a custom ROM atm...
