its a softkey applet issue, it points to wrong file..

But, I have some problems connecting to Active sync. I think its a problem with the usb connection actually. I had this problem before too, but then I could just change the USB connection type in USB settings in "Settings - Connection". Thats gone now... There probably is some registry key to do this, or fix the whole thing, but I'm no good at this, so if anyone know anything...? I cant get bluethoot to work either, so all my files are stuck at my computer for det moment.
HKLM - Drivers - USB - FunctionDrivers <-- There are a lot of setting, but I cant figure them out.
I have the same problem with connecting to Activesync. Tried on two computers (Vista) - same problem. It connects, comes up in explorer, then error message - can't connect. Did not have this problem before I installed this ROM. Even tried hard resetting the phone. Is there a problem with this Rom or is it just jale and me that has this problem?
Regarding USB settings; you will find it under settings - system.

Good for you Jale. If you look for gullum's diamond keyboard you'll find what you are missing - there you will also find norwegian layout.
My problem persists tho. I can't connect using active sync! PLEASE HELP
I am inexperienced in windows mobile, but mine was finicky about connecting through my usb hub - connecting straight to desktop fixed things here.

Tried this too, without luck.

One issue with this ROM.
When I turn on my device, it displays "Enter PIN"-screen, but only stays at that screen for 2 sec, and the phone is busy, so I can't enter my pin. The phone then turn it self completely on, but I have no signal (of course).
Have to enable "airplane mode", and then disable it again to get the "Enter pin"-screen up again...
No big deal, but a little annoying. Not sure if its the ROM or just my phone either.
edit: its not every time either, just some times. but mostly ...

This ROM is fast, stable and it contains useful applications which I need. Follow the upgrade instructions carefully, read the Wiki and search in the thread before posting.
How to Install
Make sure you have hardspl installed before upgrading to this rom. Hardspl for Kaiser can be found here. Read pof's instructions carefully before attempting to flash hardspl.
Download and execute the update. It will bring up KaiserCustomRUU which will flash the TyTN II. Your Radio ROM will remain untouched.
After the reboot, go through the initial configuration setup. Afterwards, let the customization run!
When customization completes, your Kaiser will be reset.
READ THIS
when You do Hard Reset on start CardExport Setup ask you if you want install CardExport and you must click yes and then close all dialogs because if you don't install it you can't use WM Storage function.
If you want enable CUBE you must open Start->Programs->cube->FTouchFlo Config and check box Enable FTouchFLO and Click on "Done" (the left soft key). Then you must open Start->Programs->cube->SCLPF Config and configure buttons on cube and close configure tool.
Im find one issue with theme(not corectly enabled) so you must go into Start->Settings->Personal->Today and select HTC theme and press OK.

If you want enable CUBE you must open Start->Programs->System Tools->FTouchFlo Config and check box Enable FTouchFLO and Click on "Done" (the left soft key). Then you must open Start->Programs->System Tools->SCLPF Config and if you want configure buttons otherwise exit configure tool.
This rom is very fast and stable.

How to Install
Make sure you have hardspl installed before upgrading to this rom. Hardspl for Kaiser can be found here. Read pof's instructions carefully before attempting to flash hardspl.
Download and execute the update. It will bring up KaiserCustomRUU which will flash the TyTN II. Your Radio ROM will remain untouched.
After the reboot, DO HARD RESET MANUALY and then go through the initial configuration setup. Afterwards, let the customization run!
When customization completes, CardExport Setup ask you if you want install CardExport and you must confirm(press yes) and then close all dialogs. After this your Kaiser will be reset.
READ THIS

1.01 - Great ROM
few really not important things:
- IE default homepage file not present? (easy to solve)
- HTC Task Manager not present (but of course can be installed as cab - so I could choose version I like
- keyboard layout 'charmap' (or sth like that - i don't remember) not present - it's not a problem, i never used it anyway.
Rom is stable, really fast, and it's first ROM without short slowdown every few minutes . Slightly less free RAM than in others? (i am not sure..) but Kaiser got enough RAM to forget about it

Hi,
-I know for wrong IE default page in new wersion will be fixed
-HTC Task Manager is not present because Im put other task manager(Look in to Programs->System Tools and you will see Task Manager
-Im not put any keyboard layout because if someone would like have other layout can easy instal it, for me is now this normal layout ok...

[May 10] L26 FF V4 (My Favorit!)
Hi all,
This is the last version and as stable as the Multimedia version I supose.
The 4 flavours I discontinue because it's taking to many time.
This version 4 is the base I continue with and I'm currently running on my device!
It's still the same base CE OS as previous 3 flavours but I'm searching for the 19900 build to port it to Kaiser.

Thanks for the warning - after installing v3 I went to bed and got a text a few minutes later - not usually a problem as I use a subtle text alert BUT the voice reading my text out woke my wife which didn't go down well!

YES you have right i Want to Deleted more files first must found how to Delete the Camera Drivers because is old one
i Fix all ready change the Main screen and you don't need a cab for it
I try know to Delete the "Clear Storage" I think is not necessary because you can have e Hard reset with hard buttons
if any one know How remove something or how create folder inside on Start -> Programs tell me
because is to many programs there and we want folder Like: tools, Internet , Position ...

i wanted to help you out but all i know is dumping a playing around
i didnt try making folders in it
your going the right way
but i want to ask something can the extended rom of the kaiser be removed
or the non accessable memory be used to increase the space
one more thing why are most kasier roms the ram usage is around 50 percent
thx and your rom is super fast and super stable and i cant find bugs to report actually its running like a charm
but my suggestion is try to delete anything that looks un important so we can get the light rom

i have already update the TO DO list
there you can found one file import it to advance config and tell me if you have better result of battery
50% of ram? i think this use only the 33% 62 from 92 is free
but the rom of kaiser is heavy bevause have to much drivers for camera. real keyboard...
if you find how to remove something tell me

This ROM looks great. Is there any initial feedback as to how it performs? If anyone has tried this and any of the other TF3D ROMS, I would be very interested to hear how it compares.
I have been hoping for a 3D ROM I can use but wanted to wait until some of the initial problems were ironed out. This one looks very nice. Could it be time for me to take the plunge? I'm currently liking Sakajati's HyperDragon III. It's pretty solid, but I'd love to move up to the 3D experience.
Incredible piece of work! Very few problems so far and all minor stuff.
I hope this is the start of something good. Definitely an early Christmas present.
Performance is really good considering its 3D.
I have 40.82MB free.
Just to mention some issues I found (really nothing major):
- button assignment seems to be a bit screwed (that was an easy fix)
- first splash screen after reset has old ROM's picture on the bottom (very minor issue indeed)
- can't check audio booster (not a new problem for me)
- weather app uses VGA resolution. Can't see text very well and selecting country/city past letter S is cumbersome. Overall that app could use some more tweaking.
- Start application shows up in task manager - don't shut it down or you'll end up with a soft reset.
- Wasn't able to select my music from SD
Biggest issue I found so far is that even though the apps (task/Email/Message/Favorites/etc.) are there when you slide out the keyboard it doesn't go landscape.
All in all, I love it! Can't wait to get the next update.

no, there no autostandby tou have to press the power button to close manila and turn off the screen!!!
also if manila isn't open power button lauch it...

There is somewhat high RAM usage in this rom suite. The reason for this is many new Topaz ported applications require ResProxy and Preload which loads many useful programs into memory already, though they don't show up, and loads many of the pictures and graphics that will be used for those programs into memory so there's a little less startup time when you open the program. Helps it run smoother.
GoogleMaps and Opera are both installed via built in Customization at startup. Please see the zip files included in each pack to see how you can add any other cab installation you want to your ROM on first boot. You must only know how to edit the config.txt on your storage card. Search up on this site and there's info if you don't know how.
The included version of GoogleMaps in the bundled cab is 3.0.1.6.
The included version of Opera Browser in the bundled cab is 9.5.15954. It can handle Flash, but has been disabled via opera:config for smoother operability. Change back if you'd like.
TomTom is setup as default GPS Navigator in Footprints. Navitel, Copilot or Papago are also supported. NO OTHER GPS APPS ARE! Registry to change for people that know what they're doing is located in HKLM\Software\HTC\NaviSW.

Bugs:
Manila2d doesn't work in Landscape, of course.
Fonts are too big for your liking? Go to Settings/System/Screen/Text Size and set on middle for what you're used to.
Ports from some WVGA Topaz apps were only skinned in Portrait. Landscape wasn't ported as it's too time consuming.
Miss the old style scrolling? (slower, but has ability to scroll messages/sms, etc.) Go to Advanced Config, under Settings. Under HTC TouchFLO section, set Scrolling to Enabled.
Java programs have fonts too big, such as Opera Mini? Install 3LIT3 Java Fix cab here.
Please report any other bugs and let me know.

Volume Control
This rom is very good, i actually wanna keep it, but so far i can't seem to adjust the ring and speaker volume.
When i click on the title bar, i get a list that only have two (2) items:
-Network icon
-Battery icon
There is no volume management at all.
Any suggestions?

I had the same issue. I could only find how to put it on vibrate (hold end key), but that is no good for me as I need to put it on silent when I'm in work. Hence I had to remove the ROM immediately
Ah yes, I forgot Kaiser doesn't have hardware volume button. Will try and fix that.

Okay, fixed the volume issue, added in LargeTitleBar to fix that. Changed the download link to fixed one, so redownload if you had downloaded from megaupload.

I don't normally post in these things, but I just DL'd this ROM, and I'm loving the boot sequence/hardware detection screen. From my first WINMO device I expected that screen... and that was 8 years ago. Bout time it made it over to the handhelds.
Also, quick response time so far, even with the full version. I've yet to hit cell service, so we'll see how that goes, but so far, so good. Thanks!
