This ROM is fast, stable and it contains useful applications which I need. Follow the upgrade instructions carefully, read the Wiki and search in the thread before posting.
How to Install
Make sure you have hardspl installed before upgrading to this rom. Hardspl for Kaiser can be found here. Read pof's instructions carefully before attempting to flash hardspl.
Download and execute the update. It will bring up KaiserCustomRUU which will flash the TyTN II. Your Radio ROM will remain untouched.
After the reboot, go through the initial configuration setup. Afterwards, let the customization run!
When customization completes, your Kaiser will be reset.
READ THIS
when You do Hard Reset on start CardExport Setup ask you if you want install CardExport and you must click yes and then close all dialogs because if you don't install it you can't use WM Storage function.
If you want enable CUBE you must open Start->Programs->cube->FTouchFlo Config and check box Enable FTouchFLO and Click on "Done" (the left soft key). Then you must open Start->Programs->cube->SCLPF Config and configure buttons on cube and close configure tool.
Im find one issue with theme(not corectly enabled) so you must go into Start->Settings->Personal->Today and select HTC theme and press OK.

Issues

1.01 - Great ROM
few really not important things:
- IE default homepage file not present? (easy to solve)
- HTC Task Manager not present (but of course can be installed as cab - so I could choose version I like
- keyboard layout 'charmap' (or sth like that - i don't remember) not present - it's not a problem, i never used it anyway.
Rom is stable, really fast, and it's first ROM without short slowdown every few minutes . Slightly less free RAM than in others? (i am not sure..) but Kaiser got enough RAM to forget about it

Hi,
-I know for wrong IE default page in new wersion will be fixed
-HTC Task Manager is not present because Im put other task manager(Look in to Programs->System Tools and you will see Task Manager
-Im not put any keyboard layout because if someone would like have other layout can easy instal it, for me is now this normal layout ok...

Im forgot add shortcut into programs, I will add you tomorow... If you would like see/use album now you can start it trouhgt camera(Start camera and then click into icon on left-down corner...

Known Bugs:
There's one actually that I can't figure out! It seems to be a WM6 issue only and reported on most roms already published here. Maybe something from HTC or Microsoft waiting for a hand! Anyway, it's related to the Wifi icon on the startbar.
When you connect to a hotspot or an AP, the icon changes to that static "antenna" figure just after seconds. Sometimes you have to manually connect from settings even if you had launched from Commmanager. Then, it keeps in that way for some time. You feel like you aren't connected but it is. So, it's more about visual than use itself. Need help here...
This is the only one I came up with. Hopeless!

General Notes: (Please Read before updating)

- Before asking, attention to details
- There is no IPL/SPL, extended rom and splashes screens... JUST OS!, so I think its safe for G4 users.
- Extended Rom + Splashes Screens are available separately. Links in this post.
- Radios 2.19.11 UK more stable and fewest issues and no missed calls.You can also try this newest one 2.71.11 which I'm using on mine device.
I haven't had major issues like misssing or dropping calls not even loss of signal, etc...So, I consider a good one as alternative to 2.19.11.
- You MUST have an IPL and SPL at 2.xx or higher (BOTH not just one or the other).
- High recommend to reflash an official rom before flash this one.
- If you want to improve A2DP; edit it by any Tweaking app like this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=291770 or search for that
- If you change some thing, you have to wait for a minute before restarting to make sure the device get your changes.
- If you have any issue with A2DP visit this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=308752
- Are you a new cruiser searching for Cooking glory?? You'd better go to Howto flash a Wizard... a little tutorial first! (Sticky Thread).
- Last but not least....again, do not ask me why I did not put such app or why I chose this or that. If you feel like I am missing something cool or left an application behind like HTC home Plugin, PM a message that I cook a special one. No problem.

Fantastic rom. I dont know if its stable, cause i have been using it for an houre but i think it is. It is very fast, nice looking,, about 29 mb free rom , many preinstalled themes and usefull programs, except large start menu. Very satisfied. GREAT WORK

Regarding the Start Large Menu, I really decided not use cause on mine didn't work properly. It looks nice but not functional....at least on my device.

Have downloaded the file and when I open it - I only get a file named nk.nbf
When I try and open it, computer gives error - cannot read file ??

U need ruu = rom update utility and u have to know if u have g3 or g4.read all the tutorials about flashing a wizard.
RUU is the file that comes packed in most of the roms on here right ??
I know for a fact that I have a G3 - have been trying out the different roms here to see what is what, and what I like and need.

Found the thread, files and tutorial on the RUU set up. Followed the instructions - and have now successfully flashed this new impressive rom.
I like - no errors, no issues at this point.
One thing - cannot find the battery status set up screen to make some changes, etc - can someone please let me know where it is

You don't actually need to change anything regarding scrolling. It's already enable by default. I only usually change pressure field from 11000 to 20000. That's all. Schaps tool is showing what features and settings are configured already. Normal.

Alex's v6.01 ROMs
based on AT&T WM6.1 3.51.502.0 w/o radio

It's been fun folks, but it's time I moved on. These ROMs have been left here for historical purposes only. No further changes or support will be provided.
this rom and every rom can be UC compliant (see post #2)
Cube v6.01 has been uploaded, with v6.01 Lite, Clean & UltraClean to follow within the next couple of days. Make sure to see post #2 for cube beta bugs & fixes.
UltraClean to Lite ROMs differ from my previous ROMs because I decided to leave out all the touch skins. These will be present in the fuller ROMs (Multimedia - Cube).
If you have any suggestions for the fuller ROMs (Multimedia - Cube), please post them before I release them, and I'll see if I can add it. I will be adding similar packages found in my previous ROMs, found on Alex's v5.2 ROM wiki
The only radio that works other than 1.65.17.10 (the radio from hell) is 1.65.14.06, which has been included by default in the v6.01 ROMs. You can find 1.65.14.06 radio only in the folders for v6.0.
I use Bepe's All-in-one RGU & DSM for a faster ROM and therefore cannot be extracted easily. The kitchen and all the extracted applications will be released a week after all the ROMs have been released.
Donations are encouraged if you enjoy what I do.
Cube Beta v6.01 looks similar to the image below. Pocket CM has been removed in favor of HTC Random access. The dialer & PTT has been left as AT&T default for video sharing purposes. Batti has also been removed and was replaced with VistaHide Battery Gauge w/touch-like skin. Today Agenda has also been removed.

Thanks I've been looking for a ROM stripped of everything including the camera (have the Tilt NC which doesn't have a camera) so we can pick and choose apps individually.
Plus as AllTheWay said, we know it works with the radio some of us are stuck with.

Odd I don't have anything .. When I hit the button I get a target shortcut error. Button 5 (That is the camera button right?) doesn't have anything assigned.

Radio not to bad.
Just had a 46 min phone conversation. Battery went from a 86% to 82% in a EDGE coverage area.
...and while driving home the phone conversation that I was having didn't drop at the normal spot.
...but I still want to be able to change this radio

I'm confused about your post... This ROM is released w/o a radio, meaning you can flash this and use any WM6.1 radio.
As for wanting to try out the radio that did ship with the original ROM, it's very ill advised

How-To Flash the HERALD-USPL-beta3:
Download and extract both files.
Place the extracted Open Touch v2.5 Biggy.nbh into the Herald-uspl-beta3/RUU folder.
Move the entire Herald-uspl-beta3 folder to the root of the c:\.
Follow the simple readme file.
Break down of how to flash this rom:

II. How do I flash an NBH file?
a. USPL
Step 1. Download Herald-USPL-Beta3. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=A4N36HLO
Step 2. UnZIP the file into a folder on your Desktop. Let's call it "MyFirstROM" for simplicity's sake. Notice that there is a folder called RUU within this folder now. Keep that in mind.
Step 3. Download your NBH file and unZIP or unRAR it into that RUU folder. Make sure that that NBH file ends up in the RUU folder, not within a folder inside the RUU folder.
Step 4. Place your phone into flightmode.
Step 5. Go back to the MyFirstROM folder and then run USPL.exe
Step 6. Follow the directions on the screen. EXACTLY.
* Your screen on your cell phone will go white around the 75% part of the "second step" now.
* ActiveSync will LOOSE its connection.
Step 7. One step 3 on that black window, the RUU flasher will pop up. Just follow the steps.
That's it. Welcome to the flasher's world.

Disable Random Access and Enable Scrolling
With random access you must do the following to enable contact scrolling.
Click on the contacts button at the lower right hand side of the screen.
Click on the Menu button
Click on Options
Uncheck "Show alphabetical index
Click on the ok button to exit
Now I know the following will sound strange but it will enable scrolling in the contact menu.
Repeat the following steps again, and the random acess bar on the right handside will go away and scrolling will work again.
Click on the Menu button
Click on Options
Uncheck "Show alphabetical index
Click on the ok button to exit
If you want to enable random access, just go back and uncheck the "Show alphabetical index"

It will prompt you with "Exit QuickMenu?
Choose yes and it will not startup again even after a reboot.
Things to do after flashing your device:

Choose your location and provider, do not reset the device when prompted.

Choose your view mode from the drop down menu and if you want sound while scrolling then check the Enable sound, if not don't worry about it.
Click ok to save, do not reset your device.
Go to \Start\Programs\TouchFlo
Click on Touchsettings
This part has already been filled out for you, just click on the save button to exit.
This step is needed so please perform it...
Now your ready to reset your device.

Okay first off I would like to say thank you TTran for all your hard work on this superfast,superbad rom called OpenTouch 6.0 Diamond Lite ( Spb version ).
Im gonna make this one quick and painless cause its a great job on the rom.
At first glance it seems looks like its gonna be slow being that it has spb mobile shell on it ( making a very nice looking diamond look ), But low and behold it’s a very fast and stable rom. No need to overclock unless you have some Hot Sauce for your wing.

Activesync.. - Works great no problems just make sure you set up the Connections Setttings first
Battery - Seems strong, and you have indicator on the first screen of spb.
Connection Settings ( Network wizard ) - Use this to set up your network settings based on your carrier, already installed in the rom so no need to do anything else.
Contacts - You have 2 options in the rom, Icontacts and also Spb contacts, both work great.
Calender - Have all the important stuff right at a touch of the screen.
Camera - Works great, no issues.
Dial pad - looks good, very simple and diamond like… easy to use and while incall the interface looks great.
Messaging - works great out the box, threaded sms works, MMS WORKS - NO HACK NEEDED.
Bluetooth - Works great, easy to ocnnect to device.
Weather - Works, great display for it on spb shell ( configure the weather by installing the weather cities database or install spb weather and it will carry the settings over to spb shell ).
WiFi - Not tested ( I don’t use ).
Internet - works enough said.
Games - bubble breaker and solitare ( basic cause it’s the lite version )
Office - No office ( Lite Version )
Internet Sharing - ( not Tested - I have total internet )
Media Player - Windows Media Player - Nice Skin

Great work Ttran even though it has Spb mobile shell on it, still good work. Fast rom no need to overclock, no bugs that I found so far ( the little stuff was easy to fix - like the weather was easy ).
Config the buttons on the device to what you want with no problem. Even though im testing this rom I might leave it on my wing for a few days cause its so fast. But have to move on to testing the Throttle Launcher Version.
Will update review but its late.

Please have HardSPL installed before flashing. You may sometimes get a bad flash, and HardSPL helps.
I recommend latest 1.71.09.01 radio.
There is somewhat high RAM usage in this rom suite. The reason for this is many new Topaz ported applications require ResProxy and Preload which loads many useful programs into memory already, though they don't show up, and loads many of the pictures and graphics that will be used for those programs into memory so there's a little less startup time when you open the program. Helps it run smoother.
GoogleMaps and Opera are both installed via built in Customization at startup. Please see the zip files included in each pack to see how you can add any other cab installation you want to your ROM on first boot. You must only know how to edit the config.txt on your storage card. Search up on this site and there's info if you don't know how.
The included version of GoogleMaps in the bundled cab is 3.0.1.6.
The included version of Opera Browser in the bundled cab is 9.5.15954. It can handle Flash, but has been disabled via opera:config for smoother operability. Change back if you'd like.
TomTom is setup as default GPS Navigator in Footprints. Navitel, Copilot or Papago are also supported. NO OTHER GPS APPS ARE! Registry to change for people that know what they're doing is located in HKLM\Software\HTC\NaviSW.

Bugs:
Manila2d doesn't work in Landscape, of course.
Fonts are too big for your liking? Go to Settings/System/Screen/Text Size and set on middle for what you're used to.
Ports from some WVGA Topaz apps were only skinned in Portrait. Landscape wasn't ported as it's too time consuming.
Miss the old style scrolling? (slower, but has ability to scroll messages/sms, etc.) Go to Advanced Config, under Settings. Under HTC TouchFLO section, set Scrolling to Enabled.
Java programs have fonts too big, such as Opera Mini? Install 3LIT3 Java Fix cab here.
Please report any other bugs and let me know.

Volume Control
This rom is very good, i actually wanna keep it, but so far i can't seem to adjust the ring and speaker volume.
When i click on the title bar, i get a list that only have two (2) items:
-Network icon
-Battery icon
There is no volume management at all.
Any suggestions?

I had the same issue. I could only find how to put it on vibrate (hold end key), but that is no good for me as I need to put it on silent when I'm in work. Hence I had to remove the ROM immediately
Ah yes, I forgot Kaiser doesn't have hardware volume button. Will try and fix that.

How to Install
You first MUST BE HARDSPLED (More detailed HardSPL guide, courtesy of Apreincher!)
* Flashing on Windows XP, Vista, 7:
1. You download the ROM and RUU.
2. Uncompress RUU Folder and ROM file(.NBH). Copy Rom file to RUU Folder.
3. With your phone. While holding the camera button, press and release the soft reset button. Keep holding the camera button until a new, Tri color screen will appear.
4. Connect your phone to your computer using the USB lead.
As long as the Tri-color screen is showing, the PC does not recognise the PDA Phone as being connected, even if the USB is connected.
5. Run ROMUpdateUtility.exe
6. follow the flashing process (Check the "I understand..." and "I completed..." boxes and update!). Wait... 10 minutes.
7. Welcome to your new ROM!
* Flashing through SD:
1. You must be HardSPL, first!
2. Your storage card will hopefully be lower than 4 GB, or else it might have trouble locating the file. If your storage card is larger, you can partition it to be smaller. Also, no SDCH cards will work.
3. You must format that storage card to FAT32.
4. Now, you download the ROM (and uncompress it if it’s a .7z, .rar, or .zip file).
5. Place the downloaded and uncompressed ROM file (.NBH) into the root of your storage card. Also, you must rename it HERAIMG.nbh. (Captialized)
6. Put the SD Card into your phone, and with your phone turned on, hold the camera button down. While holding the camera button, press and release the soft reset button. Keep holding the camera button until a new, white screen appears.
7. This screen that you’re on will have a white background, with blue letters. It will search for your HERAIMG.nbh file, and once it finds it, it’ll give you 10 seconds to answer yes.
8. To flash the ROM, when it asks you if you want to flash this, press down on the volume slider. Weird, eh? Just do it.
9. Now, let it flash for a good 10 minutes.
10. Success! Press any key. Press down on the volume slider again, and you’re on the color screen now. Hold the power button to turn off the phone, and then turn your phone back on. Welcome to your new ROM!

Goto Start -> Settings -> Connections -> USB to PC.
Uncheck "Enable faster data synchronization"

LZX? flash through sd cardz, could it be flash using the flash center? any modifications on pagepool?
By default, all ROMs cooked in my kitchen will have a 6mb pp unless the cook changes it.
And to find out if a ROM has to be flashed through SD, just see if the nbh is larger than 50mb. This one is 49.78 MB, so it has to be flashed through SD.

All Herald ROMs are Wing compatible but the keyboard will just not fit.
In fact, I may enact a rule where all cooks have to write the devices supported within the thread title.

Good idea ivan. All of a sudden everyone is a cook(not a bad thing mind you) and people are in such a hurry to get there ROM out that they forget to tell us details like that. We need a ROM release template or something.
I won't keep taking this thread off course, but everyone will see a sticky on it later.
This looks awesome. I'm gunna give it a try and I look forward to your future one with omap clock and the finger keyboard. Now if someone could cook this build with Manila.

Edit: OK, I tried it and I love it so far. This is the fastest ROM I've had on my phone yet. Also Win Mobile is finally starting to come together where everything is touch friendly. But it would still be nice to have Manilla or the Moto UI on top of this version of windows.

I love this rom it is fast but my only problem is that I cant get my contacts of my sim card can anyone help me with this problem?????

It's on Contacts:
menu --> copy Contact --> To SIM
| --> To Contacts
--> send Contact --> Beam
--> SMS/MMS
Or You can use SIM Manager 6.55

was wondering if it is possible to autolock. current settings force u to enter a password which i do not want since it is a problem while driving.

hey, I don't know what happened, but, after I finally got my hands on a 2gig micro, I redownloaded this rom, and after spent 2hrs reformatting, re hard spl'n, and resettin' my phone, (just to be sure I did everything right) I noticed that the .nbh file is over 61 mb's!
So, I used flash center, and no prob. BUT, the rom on the download post doesn't look anything like the info of the one posted above the download link. Just FYI. I don't know if the download is for another rom, or what, but that one at the beginning of this thread looks awsome!

Just tested some hours, but I like this ROM. Once again, our Vietnamese friend creates good ROMs. (And using JustKitchen, this is another sign of success)
There are some apps I don't use and some menues I would like to have differently managed, but it's good. I customized to my uses and everything OK.
I like Thanhy25's ROMs, they work fine, excellent in my Herald which always has problems - they work better than the stock ROMs (even my Herald did not freeze during 2 months, this is good 'cause it froze everyday till I used Thanhy25's ROMs). My Herald gives lots of problems it can't be managed like the others, some hard keys don't respond, randomly!!)
I'ld like to know where can I find the SIP keypad in black (or Thanhy25's WWE WM6.1 with the keypad in grays), because I'ld like to include it in my Kaiser ROMs.
