Versions of Jump SPL? - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Windows Mobile ROM De

Are there different versions of JumpSPL? The only one I have found was V.1 which was posted by Pof on 2007-05-10.
I can't find the newer versions of JumpSPL and I don't really know which one to use.
Will someone please help this noob?

Yep, I just did this yesterday (always late to the party, am I!) and followed that script. Worked fine.
My path:
AT&T Tilt shipped with 6.0
Flashed AT&T stock 6.1, let it do all the mojo on first boot (updates radio to a valid 6.1 radio...)
Followed script in link, did not need to pull battery (or just forgot to) but did pull sim and sd card. JumpSPL1.56 worked fine.
After that flashed Not A Treo Fan's v 2.0 AT&T rom, which is working nicely...

Ok, thanks for the link. Now how do I change the activesync connection settings?

Ok. Figured it out. Connection settings are in Windows Mobile Device Center (Windows Vista). However, they are only accessible when your device is UNPLUGGED. Did not know that. Thanks guys and gals for your help!

SPVServices.exe Tools showing blank screen.

Hi Guys,
Glad to see WM6 on the Tornado...
Pulled my Cingular 2125 out of the bin and trying to get it upto WM6.
The problem I'm having is that I need to SuperCID it but SPVServices isn't working.
I get the "ALL OK" RAPI init was Successful when I run SPVServices.
Then I click the "CID Tool (Alpha) Link" but it only displays a blank screen.
I have successfully App-Unlocked and installed the Certs.cab
Any help would be appreciated.
What OS no ur PC are you using? FYI, it must be done on XP
OS & IE Versions...
Sorry, forgot to mention...
Windows XP, IE 7. Thought there might be an issue with IE7 so I uninstalled it and tried again with IE 6. Same results.
Try it on other computer ?
Gonna try on my work PC tomorrow (or actually later today).
Just wondered if others had experienced this..
Odd, never heard of a blank screen issue, most errors are saying that it can't write the to the correct memory area or it just wont run at all under vista..
Phil
[EDIT: Good to see you about again kyphur ]
try to supercid with lokiwiz (wizard sim unlock and supercid tool). it works on tornados too
before this make sure that the phone is fully app-unlocked.
ps: skip the enablerapi.cab step
Ah yes, LokWiz my old friend... Wizard was my second HTC Device (Blue Angel being my first).
I used SDA_ApplicationUnlock.exe, is there a sure-fire way to confirm that my Tornado is App-Unlocked?
Success!!
Go figure, worked right off the bat on my work PC, that's just not fair!
Well, thanks you guys have really got your stuff together here.
We'll see how my 12 year old daughter likes WM6 SmartPhone Edition.

Hi vistar,
Hopefully, you will have it sorted out by Christmas!
Yes, it is Vista problem and you need to change the USB Vista driver in your PC to XP driver.
I don't mean changing the Windows Mobile Device Center to Active Sync 4.5!
But the USB drivers. Look here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=313001
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=291723
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Universal
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Uni_Stuck_Bootloader
I believe that the first post should solve your problem. If not try the others. Basically, in Device Manager of your PC, the USB driver should be the old XP driver dated 2004!
Any other year won't do you good!
Merry Christmas!
Happy New Year!

It is highly recommended NOT to use Vista ... even with the proposed driver patch.
I have developed a Radio ROM issue because of this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=347375
If you are using Vista, it is highly recommended for you to use Virtualisation and install XP.
I have been using XP under VMware forever without problems as far as flashing my Qtek is concerned ... until my Vista mis-adventure that is. I know that VMWare is not free, but you may want to give http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/virtualpc/default.mspx a try.
I flash my two Universal at least once a day under Vista with no problems at all.
Flashing Radio, CE ROM and ExtROM with Vista hasn't created any problem for me.
Vista like XP automatically install latest update from Microsoft site, this update also includes drivers too.
Just before flashing make sure that your old 2004 driver is not changed to the latest 2006 or 2007 driver!
That's all folks,

will try the threads above thanks, i have tried in vista, and also i use vmware too, with xp pro spâ. which seems to work better but get error ăđă, radio update error, i think i have wiped the radio??? as when the first screen comes up it says:
from,
Radio:
EXT Rom:
Bla bla:
to:
Radio: 2.?.??
EXT Rom: 2.2.??
Bla bla: 2.2.??
I cant remember what numbers came up, but it was blank at top and version numbers at bottom.
any help would be grateful
ok i got it to work , through vmware, i ran PsiDOC_WM5_20041_Taster, which worked think its WM̀ still but its back on, I want WM̉ though, i'll try again.. some advice wouldn't go a miss. thanks.
Note: If anyone has problems blame vista..... Good OS, Bad PDA Partner...
ok every rom i try fails with the following: Error 114, Radio Rom Upgrade error.
why is this??? i have looked through the wiki and forum, people have had this problem before, but no answers.
I have this when WM5 loads up,
1.09.00
42.42.p8
2.00.41 WWE
and bootloader v2.01 (G4)
just incase this info is needed.
thanks, i will leave it on WM5 till an answer is given, preferably before christmas...lol.
thanks guys for at least helping me.

If you have tried all the links I have given, you could have easily upgraded the ROM to Windows Mobile 6.
Read carefully, my above post #3.
Did you know that you could just flash the CE ROM (Main ROM), if the Radio is not flashing.

KOR support center !!!
How do i Flash that alone? do i just remove the radio file from the WM6 folder and run RUU again??? just to confirm...
Thanks M8 much appreciated.

Read the four links, I have given you.
1. nk.nbf (CE ROM - Main ROM)
2. ms_.nbf (Extended ROM - Storage ROM)
3. radio_.nbf (Radio ROM)
If the ROM is in .exe format, than excute the ROM without hooking your universal to the PC. In the temporary folder, you will find all the files.
Read,
KOR!
sorry what i meant was how do i flash the files to the device??? i have all the files ready..
do i remove radio from folder then execute RRU? or do i use a different way?
Thanks for your support KOR!!!
the later worked perfectly on my G4 device, i ran the update without the device attached, put into bootloader, and found all files in temp directory, then removed the radio file. connected the bootloaded device, then ran the update, it worked straight away, only in xp/vmware though.
Thankyou..... I really mean that KOR..

Hi Vistar,
You are welcome. If you download the drivers from the first link in post #3, then you can use Vista without any problems to flash your device.
Just make sure that the driver is dated 2004 before flashing the device. Check the driver for the Portable Devices ->USB Disk in the Device Manager of your PC.
Best Regards,
KOR!
BTW, I did reply to your PM.

How to Rollback from WM 6.1 to 6.0

Hello, I have unlocked my Cheetah thanks to all of you and saw a link on the site for a "full" 6.1 version, which I did, and it seems to be missing some things to I really want to go back to my original ATT 2.25 (original WM 6.0). I try to do this via the desktop and SD updater but since the version is newer on my Treo it will not allow me to do so. Can anyone help this newbie with instructions on how to accomplish this?
On another note a friend turned me on to your site and this is really awesome and I thank you for all of your time and help with all you do here!
You should not have any problem doing it via the SD card method. I did it on my other Treo. I dont know where exactly the hic up is. You should check your process again.

Use the SD card method, thats what I used to go back to ATT 2.25 wm 6.0
1. have you tried using the KaiserCustomRUU to load the ROM? Worked like a champ for me. just need to be sure to rename the ROM "RUU_signed.nbh"
2. using the official updater you need to modify the payloads.xml
Code:
<carrier_codes>CNG,ATT</carrier_codes>
(of course you may need to modify to match your carrier)
Code:
<revision_range>
<low>1.13</low>
<high>3.00</high>
</revision_range>
3. SD as last resort IMO since it takes forever to get the ROM on the card (assuming its already formatted fat32)

Use MTTY and do a "Task 2a" then flash any ROM you want.

Upgrade to WM6.1 fails repeatedly

Hello,
before I get into my problem description: yes, I did read all (or most of) the upgrade and troubleshoot guides in this forum, but I still can't figure out what's going wrong when I try to flash a 6.1 ROM. So any help is appreciated.
Device: G3 S200
here is what I did:
hardSPL
flash the ROM with a 6.1 ROM found in this forum (I tried 4 or 5 different ones by now)
hard reset
the problem: the device is stuck in the tri-colored bootloader screen after the upgrade (I still have the USB connection)
I can go back to the old AKU2.2 image, but any upgrade to WM6.1 seems to fail.
A more bit of info: I did successfully upgrade my device to an AKU 3 image a year (?) ago (following the instructions from this forum). That worked like a charm.
My PC runs XP SP2 and ActiveSync 4.5.
Does anybody have any idea, what could be going on? I would hate to have to go back to an AKU 2.2 ROM :-(
Thanx a million!
Katrin
successful upgrade
Hello,
just wanted to report back that after some more trying, I finally managed to get a 6.1 image working. I used the "alternative lazy tool" mentioned in this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=353547 with a pdaviet rom.
Thank you to everybody on this forum for all the great work and for sharing it with the rest of us!
Thanx,
Katrin
- I am so glad that I can continue to use my S200 -

Problem to downgrade

Hi guys, i have the palm treo 750 with the wm 6.5 and o need to go back to the original wm 5.0. I've tried everything but no results. i put the rom in my sd card in did the hard-reset, but didn't loading at all, i tried many differents roms, but none of them worked. It shows that tri colour screen with these informations: Palm Tr ( IPL- 0.20)
Palm tr (SPL- 0.24.0000
Another thing my treo doesn't connect with pc, so i have to to do everything with sd card.
I'm using windows 7 64bits.
Please help me i need to downgrade
Thanks
You can't flash a ROM from an SD card without doing a successful HardSPL first. By virtue of your post (SPL- 0.24.0000) you haven't done it correctly yet.
I don't know if there is a way to HardSPL the phone from an SD card. Search this forum to see if anyone has reported doing it.
PS ... don't go back to WM5. There are many official and stable versions of WM6.0 which is much better than WM5.
Thx, but i still not having any result, if anybody else can help, pls, i'm trying everything.
Well, obviously you aren't trying everything ... like doing simple research.
A quick Google search turned up that Palm doesn't have (or plan to put out) a 64bit USB driver for the Treo 750. That would explain why you can't connect it to your PC.
This thread on the subject is pretty old, but then again, so is the phone ...
http://forums.palm.com/palm/board/crawl_message?board.id=activesync&message.id=2978
So, you might want to find a PC with a 32bit OS on it and try getting your Treo to sync to it instead. If that works, then installing a factory ROM will be fairly easy. Keep in mind, you might have to edit the payload.xml file because the installer will see a more recent version of the ROM already on your phone (assuming you really have WM6.5 on it now).
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=345531
There are plenty of official WM6.0 ROMs available. That would be your best option. You can find many of them here:
http://rapidshare.com/users/PJNMEM/?byfilename=1&password=&subpassword=
Problem solved, just install a program that made my mobile come back to the wm 5.0.
Thanks all
You might want to share your solution with the board in case others have the same issue and need help.
