Give more info please; like:
do you have memory card?
what programs you got installed?
where do you have programs installed (on the phone or memory card)?
If you don't have memory card then go buy 1Gb card on ebay they are cheap.
Then reinstall your rom and install all programs on that 1Gb memory and you will be fine.

Reset your phone, install your softwares and others in memory-card as far as possible , you can try .

this link might help
This tip frees memory in the phone, moving stuff to the card.

Last week I posted about memory storage v programme. After getting v confused about it i uninstalled some apps from the device and instead loaded them to memory card (was this right or wrong?). That left me with 12Mb of storage memory free, I figured that was fine and so left it at that.
This week my device reported critical memory space - storage memory down to 0.12Mb!!!
I have un installed several more apps which I like and use to get to 3.55Mb of storage memory available, but even this is dropping and I dont know why.
Q have I got a virus? How can I tell?
Q Can I tell what is taking up space in memory? If yes how? please dont direct me to the "find" large files as all it shows me is stuff on the storage card.
Q If I install programs to the storage card, do they still take up room in storage memory? If so what benefit do I get from installing to MC?
All help greatly appreciated
Pete
No such thing as a WM virus. Chances are a lot better IE cache ate it all. Try deleting cache files thru IE's menu.
You gain memory by installing to a memory card but if the card comes loose, pops out, you forget it, etc, you're suddenly without your apps. I don't install anything to the card and generally have no problem. You might want to do a search on how to put your IE cache onto the card, tho. That'll solve a lot more problems than installing apps there will.
Try TreeSize
http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-treesize-v1-00-03.html
This allows you to check the memory in use on your device.
there are a few known wm virus's but never heard about anybody getting one
think they were just made to show it could be don
the market of mw phones / pda's is much too small still for virus's to find their way to devices

Advice on upgrading XDA2

I would like to now the following:
What is the max SD Card capacity that a XDA2 can use
Is there a SD Wifi Card that also has memory (as I'd like to be wireless, and still have the SD Card memory - as I install apps to the SD Card)
What is the XDA backpack and is it still available (a friend suggested i would need this to have SD Card Memory and Wireless - although he could tell me much more than that).
Also is it possible to replace the backup battery as everythime i swap batteries (have 2 batteries I use when out/away) I have re-enter clock/calendar data.
My XDA2 is running WM6.1
Thanks
unless the later 6.5roms change that the largests is 2gb non hcsd cards
unless later roms change that non of the wifi cards with storage works at all
unless later roms change that the last rom that worked with the backpack was 2003
No, Rudegar, you are wrong: the max. SD-capacity is 4 GB (non HC) SD cards, as I prooved with all working roms I tested, yet. (WM2k3 up to WM6.5 and I tried a lot of them!!)
Backpack is still available and some of its functions are working!
The vga-feature is working fine, after installing the driver.
Most ROM use additional battery in the backpack, but not all. You have to test yourself.
The only thing that won't work in roms, other then WM2k3(SE), is the compact flash slot, as there are no working drivers for WM5 and WM6.X (yet)!!!
The backup battery is changeable, you can use the one for the BA as they are the same. Use the search button above, you will find some links on this issue.
Yep, I have a 4GB non-SDHC card in use with my MDAII...works without problems.

[Q] Identify where programs installed to (i.e Main Storage or Storage Card)

Hi all,
sorry if this has been posted already. looked around on google etc but to no avail.
i seem to be always running low on Storage space for installed programs on the internal memory. plenty left on storage card which is fine for installing games and other apps.
however for screen mods and themes etc i.e BSB tweaks, CHT etc. I always install on the phone memory, which is now running very low.
ive tried removing all cabs no longer in use or used rarley and still have little memory, plenty of spare memory under program but not in storage (on main memory)
so im looking for an alternative to the standard 'remove programs' function which will identify what cabs are installed to the internal memory and what is installed to memory card.
or alternativly a way or transfering some of the internal program storage over to the main storage.
this will save me having to do a hard re set to restore all storage space and re install cabs again etc.
im running standard WWE 1.48.405.2 Vodafone ROM, Radio 2.05.51.05_2 on WM6.5, HD2, any help is much appreciated, thanks, Batez
use pocket mechanic to transfer applications (which phone mechanic is able to transfer) from main memory to the storage card. This app is not free though but works a treat. Not sure if there are any free apps out there which can do something similar.
Thanks Mate

Hi guys, I need your help for my Imate Jama 101, there are 3 kind of memories in my cell phone, one is microSD 2nd is phone memory 3rd one is program memory, my question is can i increase or shift my program memory to SD Card? whenever I use Opera mini & open any heavy website, the program memory rapidly increases & it goes shut down.
Also please tell me is this program memory called RAM? like a Pc's RAM?
yes the program memory is the same as RAM. as far ado know there is no possible way to do that. a tip is to close any other running programs when you are using opera. also what WM OS are you on? there are many gerald available to increases program memory depending on your OS.

answer
hey vickywaqas,
it is indeed possible with some tweaks/hacks to use a micro sd card to enlarge your program memory, which is also called RAM on phones
i dont know about how or what for your i-mate Jama 101 but i found a topic which can be interesting for you: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=472798
greets from holland
