Yahoo go 3.0 CAB

Can anyone share the Yahoo Go 3.0 CAB for those of us not fortunate to live in the USA.

V3.0 is not available for me. Its still showing a link to "download Yahoo! Go 2.0 (792KB)".
Above that it says:
NOTE: The new Yahoo! Go 3.0 BETA version is not yet available for your phone. In the meatime, enjoy Yahoo! Go 2.0 and we will update you automatically when it is.
So perhaps it will automatically notify you if there is an update like Microsoft Live Search does.

Looks like it's only for Symbian atm.. Damn, symbian users always get the goodies first I'm seriously thinking about switching back to symbian if the situation doesn't change soon.
Now they also have flash lite 3 which apparently not even will be developed for WM.

It's working perfectly on my device & is also able to work through the wap gateway of my operator.

Its working on my Tilt. But because it is meant for smartphones, the interface is not touchscreen. But otherwise it works well and looks better then the old version.

tried it on my TMobile Wing and it works fine, although as mentioned before I think its for a smartphone and not a pocket pc

Work on My T-Mobile Wing (Herald) but dosen't support touchscreen since it's for SmartPhones.

Windows Mobile version???
Anyone know where we can download a WM6 version? I'm also not in the US so I'm only offered the 2.0 version of Yahoo Go.

Great news! Now Yahoo Go 3.0 is available in a version for Windows Mobile phones with touch-screens! ... however bad news is that it is designed only for phones with QVGA (240x320) display while nowadays several Windows Mobile phones from E-TEN, GIGABYTE, HTC, Asus, Toshiba... have VGA (640x480) and W-VGA (800x480) displays! Yahoo indeed STILL is incompetent about Windows Mobile.
Nonetheless the Yahoo Go 3.0 includes nice carousel-like user interface and apart from reading news, email, mapping, etc. it can also upload and manage (delete, edit comments, edit descriptions, edit tags) photos - directly to your FlickR account (FlickR is a part of Yahoo corporation):

Yahoo GO! 3.0
I installed Yahoo Go 3.0 on my tilt successfully, but I don't seem to have any GPS capability/functionality. Is this normal for the beta version or should I be able to use the GPS to find my location. It worked fine on the older version, but it's gone in 3.0.
Any Help?

Thanks for the app! Just installed now and testing... when I click menu > today I get an unexpected error and the app crashes out. Running TESS 1.7 ROM.

Congratulations on getting this out the door A very nice UI too!
Now for the criticism
1. I'm getting the error on "Today" as well - maybe because I have Manila running detached. Screenshot is attached.
2. "Camera" menu:
- Burst mode is obsolete, no on/off needed since it simply does nothing on Topaz
- Burst picture size is obsolete
- Setting the "Picture Size" for "Sport" mode to 3MB will crash the camera app. The option should be removed. Who knows if this might not even harm the camera itself.
3. Spelling error on "Phone" Settings, on 2nd page you have "Multe Call" instead of "Mute Call"
4. "PushInternet Engine", you're not disabling the underlying service, which saves extra RAM and battery, see my thread on XDA-Devs http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=532948

Sorry to reactivate this topic, but there is still to much bugs remaining:
. today tab will still crash the app
. the entire tool was designed for Touch HD, only the name as been changed (maybe the cause of bugs, not enough converted for Topaz)
Then, could you please post an updated revision of your app fully compatible and especially designed for Topaz (or is this app abandonned)?

It works perfect on my D2 with official 6.5 WWE rom. No bugs discovered.

@radzi: you have to google for NETCFv35.wm.armv4i.cab and install it. Then softreset. Then google for netcfcfg.cab and install it. Go to this app and point all app to use 3.5 framwork. Another softreset. Then it will work just fine.

i had install Topaz Settings tool in my phone,but it seem like some problem there.
when i click menu->Today, it will prompt out an error.
same think if i click menu->pushinternet->on\off key
i wan to disable it because at there mention that (*With PushInternet Engine Disable, you can get back 10mb RAM free)
is that this software not support WM6.1??or my ROM problem??

The most unexpected and wonderful thing happened to Magician user is WM 6.5! (Thanks to Cotulla's brilliance). Thought that we can use this tread to post the list of software’s found working or interesting links for WM 6.5 specific themes/software, tweaks/ registry settings specific to get to once needs or any other related to R1 WM 6.5 on Magician.
1) PIM Backup working nice
2) SPB back up working
3) MS Voice command 1.6 not working properly
4) TCPMP working nicely (using the one posted in Cotulla's 3.03 thread one)
5) Resco explorer working fine
6) Second today working fine
7) Memory maid working fine
8) I used to use pocketnav for closing apps now it is spoiling the beauty so checking if ay other can be used to actually chose between close and minimise

Sorry Xiaojin did not get the context, if it is on missing Magicain set and SD card keep alive, they are like drivers and primary ones for the ROM itself so not listed

Yes this definitely would be interesting and also can be used to lure 64M magician users to upgrade.
At present I see no software I need that runs only in WM6.5 but not 6.1, and I use SPB Mobile Shell 3.0 so shell isn't big issue to me.
By the way XiaoJin and/or other expert with experience in upgrading ram (in China), (1) how much and (2) how many percentage that my Magician will survive with the ram upgrade, in Guangzhou? - Any referral
After upgraded, and if everything works, I think the only problem with Magician is no wifi. Though in China again I don't mind, to make all our oversea friends envy, I use China Mobile CMNET RMB$6/10MB per month package (RMB$6 is less than 1 USD) GPRS and that works great with email and stuff.

In Guangzhou:

Tech for upgrade - 10~~~50CNY,dependented on the man you find.

Unfortunately I have searched detail about Infineon chips before I upgraded to 128M....Also I want a bigger one so I searched many information about this.
The biggest model for Magician and other device with PXA27x is HYB25L512160AC-7.5.
It is a 512MBit(64MBytes) SDR chip,and there are no another stable chips with bigger size
Up to 1024MBit are DDR chips,which can't place in Magician board

Help HTC Touch Pro II wm 6.5

Hello,
I've used to have the MDA Vario III (htc tytn II) with wm 6.1
Now I have the MDA Vario V (htc touch pro 2) with wm 6.5, but I can't get used to it.
At first I really miss the opportunity for changing the soft key buttons (in the left and right at the bottom). I've already donwloade an app, but i doesn't seems to work in HTC sense.
And also want to turn off that annoying touch keyboard (does anybody know how)
I also want the HTC home app back from wm6.1 (but when I install the app I have to do a HARD reset")
And then HTC sense. It's totally not adjustable and so borring. At your home screem you have the right soft key called internet. I want it to open opera 10 beta, but it only opens the standard internet feature which htc has installed.
I've tried SPB shell but that doesn't also work proparly, when i soft reset of restart the phone it doesnt show, it shows htc sense. I have to activate it first in settings.
ALso I've looked a bit around on google and this site, but I really don't get it how to change the skins and what touchflow is, or manilla.
Can anybody explain it to me.
Or can anybody gove me tips to adjust my phone so that I can adjust it to my personal needs.

ps. Is it possible to rotate your screen by using your g-sensor? like the N-97?

TouchFlo/Manila is another name for HTC Sense. If you want Mobile Shell, you should uncheck TouchFlo (or whatever it is called) in Settings>Home>Items, then it should start automatically after a soft-reset.
For other home screen alternatives (Androkkid, iPhoneToday etc.) look in the Dev&Hacking forums (Windows Mobile Applications and Games), for skins and themes look in the Windows Mobile themes section, for device specific things look in the Rhodium (=Touch Pro2) section .

You could use iPhoneToday (mirror if you can't download from RapidShare) for launching apps and TodayAgenda for appointments and tasks.
Also, you can try out S2U2 (Slide to Unlock 2), which adds a customizable lock screen with appointments.

I know S2U2, i don't like the porgramm. also I don't like the Iphone look, if I liked it I should have bought an Iphone.

First of all, demanding is not how it works. If you want to know something, ask politely and thank people for any answer .
Also, you should've checked out my links. You said you want an agenda - you can get this with S2U2 or TodayAgenda. And iPhoneToday can provide you with information about new messages, and also display icons to launch apps - for example Opera Mobile. If you want other things, you can also search for Androkkid or look on freewarepocketpc.net.

Click HERE to download the WMP Skin that matches the theme I have set up for these ROMs. The dialer, the Comm Manager and the WMP will all have the same style with this.
Just extract this to a folder and put it in your SD card. Then go to your Windows Media Player. When in your media player make sure to hit the back button to go to the player. Then go to Menu and then select Options. Then scroll over to the skin tab and choose the skin you just installed. Then put the phone into landscape mode and select the skin again and press OK.

everything works great but the contacts wont show up. I've tried everything but it wont show the contacts but when they call the name and number shows up. If you could help that would be great.

ok i got it.. now how can i make the text and the img smaller.. when you tap on wifi.. its alittle big for my wing.
ps the batt, does not show a time or any thing just all green.. i will post other thing if i see any thing odd..

What do you mean? I'm using C800 and the contact is ok. I think u should re-update this ROM again.

Man, it's been a while since I've seen my own work, lol.
This was by far my most favorite ROM for my old HTC Tmo Wing.
Makes me sad to think I can never update my ROMs anymore now that Windows Mobile doesn't get updated via M$ anymore.
If I ever see an update down the line I will do my best to keep you all updated as well.

Sup. It looks like your megaupload link for your SYS and ZIP files are down. Hopefully you have another copy somewhere. It would really suck to lose the sources for the best ROM on this phone (even if development is now in the doldrums). I am making an archive of XDA's work on their namesake phones, so it would really help me out.
