About new ROM's and stuff...
As much as I love to see new roms appearing on the site and beeing very curious to test all of em. We learned from the past that we would like to know what is actually new or improved in these so called roms (aspecialy the PDAVIET) If it is just 2 new folders with a better flashy icon than most of us don't bother updating.
So when you post a new cook, built or whatever, can you please be a little more specific?

Tried this image. Works fine, no bugs so far (although my GSM stack is dead on my M5000, so I can't test call-related stuff).
Base install (which puts a lot on there) gives me:
Storage:
- Total: 43.50 MB, In Use: 4.38 MB, Free: 39.12 MB
Program:
- Total: 48.88 MB, In Use: 20.45 MB, Free: 28.43 MB
(Only thing running is ActiveSync in the background on the phone, as by default).
Version-wise,

OS 5.2.318 build 15341.0.0.0
ROM version: 2.10.05 PV
ROM date: 04/16/07
Edit: grrr, listed the entire set of programs/utils etc, but the forum didn't post it. Oh well.
There are a few sloppily removed programs on here, namely Terminal Services Client, ClearVue PDF (has been replaced with Adobe Reader LE, but icon not removed), Help, Java and PVPlayer.
The PocketSecure installed is an expired demo and will not run.
The 'Microsoft Reader' is not activated.
There's a program called 'Eye On Privacy' installed which requests a password. The password is not provided, and all tested entries are invalid.
You may also want to play 'Spot the ROM-makers URL' which seems to pop up in various places (device information, etc )
All in all I'd say that this is not a very good ROM - it should have been polished far more before release!

"Not Working" is as it should be when the demo has expired!

Could you somehow make the HTC Home plugin (http://www.smartphone-freeware.com/download-htc-home-plugin-smartphone.html) available for mpx200? It needs to be changed to 176X220 i think.

could you please give a short explanation, how to flash it?
i tried it several times now and it looks like it doesn't work at least for me. It always stucks after I flashed the two files and made the HR in the blank screen and nothing happens (even after waiting more than 20 minutes!)

I've tried this rom to my MPx200, and I found that this is the most stable WM6 rom for MPx.
Other roms have problems on the Pocket Outlook, and they need third party software to send SMS. This one doesn't need it. Altough I can't send SMS directly by pressing the left soft ke (send), I can use the option 'send' from the right soft key..
a better one...

great rom.but i have a problem with the compact framework that i already had with wm5 proffessional rom.impossible to run nscontactbackup.the program will ask for a newer version of the framework.tryed to install the 2.0 one but it failed asking me to uninstall first the previous version.since this is automatically installed with the rom i dont know what to do.do anyone have an idea?

i would like also to know how to integrate the vpn and dial up modem settings in start->settings->connections in order to configure my internet connection.I never been able to configure an internet connection on that phone using my operator wap settings

Is this correct? You guys managed to port WM6 to one of the FIRST WM Smartphones out there? I'm curious, how old a MPx200 device would be old now? Like 4 years or so? I'm wondering that the hardware is still working, this is quite a long lifetime for such a device. Sorry for offtop, but I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the title of this thread.

I have tried this launcher which seems to have the new Windows Mobile 7 design combined with CrossMediaBar-Icons and Sliding Panel. It works well on Classic and Professional devices (5.0 - 6.1) - tried it on my Touch Diamond and works fine. There is also a QVGA version available.

It basically looks and works like the new Windows Mobile 6 Standard today screen which I find a nice clean looking interface
I tried the QVA version a while back but I found it really slow and unresponsive didn't look right on the TyTn II, I may give it another look as it may have changed now.
To install it you net Net Framework 3.5 installed, which is a pain in the backside for just a homescreen IMHO

It works out of the box for me. Since Windows Mobile 5.0 the .net compact framework 2.0 is pre-installed and you only need the version 2.0
This seems to be the version 1.2 from SHBT MyHome and look what I found for Change history:
- Improved speed performance
- Optimized Calendar Panel
- Optimized skins
Now the performance seems to be good.

But compared it more looks like Windows Mobile 7 but 1/4 year earlier
I found also other skins from the developer (they are available on the community):

What device do you have? I have 6.1 Prof on the Diamond and on the Acer n311 and it works well on both.

Yes this must be the problem, but there is also a QVGA version .

It never used to have a qvga version, if you check the home page I don't think it even mentions a qvga version. These is one available though.

O.K....So I purchased & installed it. Works great thanks !! Just one question...When you try to change the theme colour....it just stays on the default blue colour ?

As far I know the theme color changes the theme of the windows mobile and not the skin from MyHome. But there are some skins in SHBT's community for download. I have also purchased it but the skins available are for MyHome 1.0 and not 1.2 - I asked the developer and they told me that they will update the skins for VGA and QVGA in their forum soon.

The skins should be easy to modify because the images are all *.png and saved under "img\" on the device. In the skins section it is also allowed to post "own skins"

Hello again...for those who are looking for "locking the device" - I have found it:
If you press and hold somewhere on the screen then you get an option "Lock Device" which activates the standard Windows Mobile lock.
Hope to see in future some customization there.

Click HERE to download the WMP Skin that matches the theme I have set up for these ROMs. The dialer, the Comm Manager and the WMP will all have the same style with this.
Just extract this to a folder and put it in your SD card. Then go to your Windows Media Player. When in your media player make sure to hit the back button to go to the player. Then go to Menu and then select Options. Then scroll over to the skin tab and choose the skin you just installed. Then put the phone into landscape mode and select the skin again and press OK.

everything works great but the contacts wont show up. I've tried everything but it wont show the contacts but when they call the name and number shows up. If you could help that would be great.

ok i got it.. now how can i make the text and the img smaller.. when you tap on wifi.. its alittle big for my wing.
ps the batt, does not show a time or any thing just all green.. i will post other thing if i see any thing odd..

What do you mean? I'm using C800 and the contact is ok. I think u should re-update this ROM again.

Man, it's been a while since I've seen my own work, lol.
This was by far my most favorite ROM for my old HTC Tmo Wing.
Makes me sad to think I can never update my ROMs anymore now that Windows Mobile doesn't get updated via M$ anymore.
If I ever see an update down the line I will do my best to keep you all updated as well.

Sup. It looks like your megaupload link for your SYS and ZIP files are down. Hopefully you have another copy somewhere. It would really suck to lose the sources for the best ROM on this phone (even if development is now in the doldrums). I am making an archive of XDA's work on their namesake phones, so it would really help me out.
