I have ordered 3 Raphaels in Expansys, and 2 of them came with protocol version: 52.33.25.17W, and one seems to have 52.33.25.17U (notice the last letter). What may have caused this difference in devices from one bunch and does anybody know what is the difference?
No difference - i believe it is just indicating the current 'frequency' band that it is in / last used before reset.

Hello,
always when I'm on battery power and I talk for about 1minute or 2, i get the msg that the gsm radio has crashed, and the dive will restart in 30s.But only on battery power. Is this a battery problem or maybe I should instal another ROM???
I also have problems, when starting the camera, all I get is a black screen and a freez down, also only on battery power and sometimes, when i go to programs, they freeze to.
I bought a used one htc, and hoped it will work fine, and in the first day everything was ok,but then..
Tnx for all answers,
Tilen.

I recommend to reflash your ROM and try with a diferent radio
That worked for me.
Instructions can be found in the Wiki
Good luck
Had Same Issue...
I had the same problem...You need a new battery...On demand; your current battery can't put out enough amps.

Had the same problem. After searching through past posts in here I found out the aging battery amperage problem which would shut/reset device under heavier usage.
Tnx to all people,you're great!!
I was afraid that it's something more...horrible, but that's ok!Cause, I had the Wizard, the the HTC Touch, the Tytn and nov qtek 9000 and the last one is the most amazing for me.
It's big but for browsing and working on it, it's just top of the range!
so? It's working?
I use radio in 1.17 version. I don't have any problems with this version...

Havent bought the battery yet, don't get the time to do that, but when I'll buy it, I report!
Do the still sell new Universal??From stores out?
I got two batteries (1600mAh) and a charger for ten dollars including shipping from the internet. Ebay is a sure source...After receiving my new batteries, my problem went away....Also, the desktop charger is a good idea; I used to charge mine directly from the wall and noticed that my device would retain heat...Can't be good for the battery OR device...Now, I charge one and use one; by the time one runs out of charge, the other has completed....Works out well for me...
Yes,I'm gonna buy it today over the net,the battery for about 50 USD,that's how the prices here are.
Hope it will work well.
I will be getting a new droid charge for replacement because my current droid charge got a red stuck pixel in the middle of screen. Anybody who knows they have the newer hardware version of their phones because samsung is supposed to be shipping new droid charge with a better 4g chip. Check out the link below. This new ones might have better performance of 4g in terms of battery life, 4g to 3g switching vice versa. So let me know guys what do you think.

Based on the article, it's still going to use the same radios that it is currently using, just maybe it is a different amplifier for the radios. For all we know, that amplifier is already in the current phones as companies cannot always announce sales/deals like this until after a product is released.
I don't necessarily get that they are just now shipping the radios. But if they are, I'd feel betrayed by both Verizon and Samsung.

That was my feeling, the article doesn't seem to say anything about a new version, or what is in the phone now, but if they do release something and not replace the "old" model, that is pretty bad.
I wonder if it would be easy to spot on a disassembled Charge. This guy disassembled his Droid Charge, so maybe he can find out if existing Charges already have this power amplifier in them.
Considering it's not that new and already has been used in previous Samsung devices (Intensity II, Gusto, Galaxy Tab), I'm thinking it's probably already there. But if it isn't and would help someone like me get a more reliable data connection (I'm in a slow/weak 3G area and also fringing on 4G/4G Extended, so it's been a battle for me), then I would definitely try to obtain this hardware revision if it exists.
On another note, any way we can get a hold of the service manual for this phone? I imagine that would some useful information/pictures/diagrams in there.
Based on the article they are just anouncing that they are in the Droid Charge. It is what is there now, there is nothing new.
I have 2 Shield Tablets for my kids and recently went through the recall program to receive replacements. I just set them up and nandroid restored the data partitions from the old ones and everything worked smoothly as expected. I just noticed that on one of mine in Settings -> About Tablet -> Status under Battery is listed B01* and the other has the standard B01 listed there. Has anyone else seen that? What do you suppose it means, if anything?
Hi,
I've the same situation, one B01 and the other B01*.
They are both replacement units and I know that the one which has the B01* battery was identified as a Y01 battery before the last update.
Maybe it's related to this:

I've also created a new topic in the Nvidia forum:

Hi! I recently bought an Honor 8 from Bestbuy.com and am very much enjoying the phone. But I did notice that the phone was manufactured over 10 months ago, in December 2016. Should I be worried that the phone was created so long ago? Has anyone else who recently purchased this model noticed the same thing? Should I be worried that my battery life will be reduced due to this?
Thank you in advance for any insight you can provide. It's very much appreciated.
Where did you see the manufacturing date on the box? I just bought my third honor 8 a couple of days ago and I would not mind knowing when mine was produced. Please let me know if you don't mind how you found that.
To answer your question your battery life will be more than fine bcause there has been no use on it to strain it from it's original state. Your phone is totally okay as it just means it was produced new 10 months ago and it remained that way until you first plugged it in to charge therefore starting your true battery life span. So you have nothing to worry about whether your phone was produced 4 months ago or 10 months ago the fact is that it's still brand new meaning nothing has altered it's original new state that it was in until you opened it up and started using it. At that point it no longer remained new free of any usage.
Do let me know where you found your production date. I bought a Pearl White 64g and I'd like to know when mine was produced too. Thanks.
Hi Dconn1975,
Thanks so much for your reply. It makes me feel a lot better.
I found a date 2 different places on my phone, although they were a few days apart. The first place I noticed one was on the back of my phone. There is a very tiny bar code and it says Date: 2016-12-22. But then I researched more and found that the date is found in the phone's serial number:
From the serial number (S/N) you will find:
Pos 6-7: Year
Pos 8: Month (Oct=A, Nov=B, Dec=C)
Pos 9-10: Date
You can find your Serial Number under settings -> about phone -> status
This indicated my phone was made on 12/18/2016. Hope this helps!
Thanks a bunch. I'll have to check and see when my phone was produced. I was still running 5.0 so I think I'll be in a similar situation as you are. Thanks again and I'm glad I was able to help you.

Mine is 1692 , so i guess the month of production isn't necessarily expressed by a letter. Btw, I bought it in late October last year.
Hi! The month is only a letter if it's October, November, or December. Otherwise it's the number that goes with the month. So if you see 1692, that was made in 2016, the month of September (that's the 9) and a day in the 20's. You'll need the number after the 2 to know the exact date.
I wouldn't worry. Mine was manufactured Oct 12, 2016 and it's been solid as a rock.
I bought an edge s several months ago and recently changed the os from the chinese version to the retail version (I found a link to the files in this forum)
I noticed that power consumption in my device has increased, is it just me or is it an actual phenomenon associated with the retail version of the os?, or maybe it has to do with the fact that I unlocked the bootloader?...
