i'm trying to connect my jasjar to my pc wirelessly,
i downloaded netplug, i succeeded to create the connection
the issue is that i can open netplug to see the shared folder on my pc, this is ok
now why i can't see my pda on my pc network places?
how can i see on my pc the files on my pda using the same logical process?

I have a JAM and I use ActiveSync 3.8. On a friend's PC I connected my Jam as a guest device and tried to transfer a picture file to his PC by dragging and dropping. The problem is, instead of dropping it to the Desktop to create a copy, I dropped the file in the middle of an open Firefox page by mistake. Nothing happened in Firefox however the file was deleted from my JAM in the operation.
Is there an undelete tool for the JAM?
Please try for yourself: drag and drop a test file from your mobile device to an open firefox page and you'll see the file disappear!!! Where does it go?? How do you recover it?

If you do a paste (<CTRL>V) the file apprears wherever the focus is.
I want to extract my contact file stored in the stg file but can not run this application on my laptop, when running it does absolutely nothing on my PC. Strange ? If I save this file on the flash of my PDA and try running, but it says not application for pocket PC

i already know how to transfer files between a computer and my pda ,because i can enable file sharing on windows pc very easy and it is not a problem.
The real problem is how to enable file sharing on a Folder ON MY PPC DEVICE (WIN 6)?

I have a LG KS20, which I usually connect to my PC through the USB adapter cable provided.
When ActiveSync starts and I want to transfer a file from my computer to my pocket pc, I simply copy and paste it in the explorer window.
But I can't do the reverse. When I try to copy a file from my KS20 to my computer the progress bar shows up, but when it ends nothing happens and the file isn't in the directory I pasted it.
I tried this in numerous ways. I even unticked the advanced tools option where it says "convert files when synched, copied or moved".
If anyone knows how to fix this, or can tell me a tool similar to the explorer function on activesync (so I can copy files from one side to the other) I would be much apreciated.

I have a HTC kaiser with a broken screen and would like to get into the file
system of this device via active sync. The device start up without active sync enabled so when I connect using usb to pc I can't connect.
I was wondering if anyone knows how I could connect to this device and browse the file system.
One idea I've tried that haven't been successful yet it to use
and autorun.exe file in the 2577 folder of the sd card to trigger active sync
to run. Haven't been able to figure out how to do that. Also was thinking maybe could enable bluetooth and connect using a second device.
Finally I tried to get the repllog.exe off another device to place on the sd
and rename to autorun.exe but doesn't let me copy since it on the rom.
