You good folks!
I was wondering if someone could take some pictures of the pro with they keyboard slid out.
Basically I want to see the back of the screen, when the keyboard is extended. I can't seem to find any pictures like that in any reviews, they all seem to be "glamour shots".
I wanna see what the sliding mechanism looks like!
Please! Help my sanity!
Take a look at this review. It has a 360-degree zoomable view of the unit with the keyboard open, so it might show you what you're looking for. (You have to wait a few seconds before the 360-degree view finishes downloading and appears.)
Nice, thanks!!!

Hey everyone, the Touch functions on my Prophet are working great for the most part, but I want to know how big the pictures for the contacts have to be. I find that when I let the PDA resize pictures automatically they become blurry or just too sharpened to look good. I really would like to have good looking pictures in the cube.
Does anyone know the best resolution or mode to place pictures in your contact list?
I've searched and searched but I have NO IDEA how to word this.
Basically, when I had my iPhone, I loved looking through my photo gallery and sliding my finger from one side to the other to get to the next picture, and pinching to zoom in an out.
I know multitouch works in the browser, so has anyone done this with the photo gallery yet?
flash hero rom to your g1 and you'll get what you want.
my recommendation is mlign 3.0!

I have been wanting this for awhile but idk how to port. If you really want the multi touch go with a Hero Rom. If you want to stick with cyanogen checkout picture viewer its free from the market. You can swipe left and right to change pic and up and down to zoom. It isnt multi touch but it works nicely. Good luck.
Dear all,
Thanks for all the useful tips over the past few years, I've finally done something worth giving back to the community.
I noticed the HD2 and diamond skins but there wasn't a skin available the correct resolution for my QVGA Touch2... So I decided to make one using the existing skins as examples. The process was pretty straightforward and took me about an hour playing around to get it right.
I know that there will be some issues so let me tell you what I already know before you come back to me to tell me.
Anti-aliasing is a bit rough around the edges, it looks best on white backgrounds. At any zoom level other than 100% it does not go transparent and you have a white edge (which looks a bit ugly). According to other similar threads this is due to a bug with MM not the skin itself.
Also if you switch the skin into landscape it goes wrong. I am hoping that somebody may have some ideas as to how to get MM to rotate the skin, or be able to set a landscape skin up. I could not find any examples of this.
Also I don't think the start button works, although the button is mapped out.
Enjoy, let me know if you have any ideas about rotating it. I don't have much time to adjust but thought other people may well want the same as I did, so here you are. Feel free to improve on it.

Edit: Attaching screenshots
Hei, can you post screenshots, i dont understand whats that...
Apologies for the confusion, I have appended a screenshot as requested.

That is the point! But there was not a skin for My Mobile which makes it look like the Touch2 until now. Those screen shots are actually displaying my phones screen, not an emulator or static screenshot.
Have a look at this site: fuzemobility.com/mymobiler-skins-for-htc-hd2-tp2-and-more/ and you should catch on.
Ok, thought that the screen was "automatically" displayed by mymobiler.....
And since I use direct mobile device connection, never had the need for mymobiler .....
Will give it a try.....thanks for clarification!
I know no one has the keyboard yet, but does anyone have links to videos that show how the touchpad/dpad works?
Specifically I want to know that I won't have to reach up and touch the screen when i'm using it in laptop mode.
Is there a cursor present? Does it work everywhere or just the browser?
I dont recall where I saw it, but I can confirm that a cursor is present. It works the same as the lapdock for the Motorola Atrix. Clicking is like tapping the screen, click + drag is a swipe. Pretty simple concept.
There was a pretty good video in Italian by HDblog or something like that. I'll see if I can find a link, but you could probably find it pretty easily on YouTube.
It showed a cursor on the homescreen, plus multitouch gestures on the trackpad (pinch-zoom, two finger scroll, etc.)
Edit: I think this is it, but can't confirm because my office blocks youtube.
Thanks for this. Exactly what I was looking for.
You can also 2-finger scroll through your homescreens using the touchpad.
This thread has a couple of You Tube videos of an actual user with the keyboard dock. Look at the second one for the main overview of the keyboard in use. I have to say I can't wait for my dock to come through, it really does look awesome.

This series of videos by Asus does have some examples of keyboard usage, particularly if you scroll down it will show the dock being connected to an external hard drive. Nice!

OK so I'll be straight forward.
Hi, this is my first time on XDA developers starting a thread.
I have NO knowledge over programming, i just came here to share my idea.
So recently I found out about Google Cardboard and I see loads of potential.
Then the idea struct me, and maybe loads of others too.
How about we merge the camera and widgets together which would look like this:
If we can control the phone with our fingers in front of the camera,
(sorry cant post a link now)
Then we could wear this all around with a heads up display of our app's widgets.
Swipe your finger from right to left to open the mini widgets drawer:
Use your fingers to instantly take a photo:
Hope someone out there would find this a good idea and work towards this direction, I would try to make this come true too.
Please give me some suggestions by commenting, thank you.
