i noticed for whatever reason my screen rotates to the wrong side. just recently. is there a config or which Registry do i have to change?
Try Schap's new advanced config
Hi Hornet!
Try Schap's new advanced config v3.0. In his tool you will find an option for the rotation angle.
U will find it here http://www.touchxperience.com/ on his page.
So far
Frank
I remember WM5 would let you control whether you rotate right-handed or left-handed, but I don't see it in WM6. The actual registry link that controls it is HKLM\System\GDI\Rotation. There is a LandscapeMode control in there. Do a search and you can find more about it. HTH.
Advanced config works like charm. Thanks for the tip. Got an older version installed with the DIAMOND COOKED ROM :-(
Try this:

Rotation
Right-handed:
HKLM\System\GDI\Rotation\LandscapeMode = 1 (DWORD decimal)
Left-handed:
HKLM\System\GDI\Rotation\LandscapeMode = 4 (DWORD decimal)
thanx for all the helpful advice and links.
This problem is solved then

Hello everybody...
I was looking for some parameters to put tomtom7 in landscape (or not) automatically with gsensor...
Perharps that can help someone...
Here are the good (and working) parameters to put in registry :
Go to HKCU/Software/HTC/HTCSENSOR/GSensor/
In : ModuleName
Create a String entry :
TomTom value : \program files\navigator\tomtom navigator.exe
(change \prgram files\navigator to your personal installation directory if needed)
In WhiteList
Create a String entry :
TomTom value : MunichWinClass (take care, case sensitive !!!)
I don't know why TomTom is called MunichWinClass !!! Everybody knows that Barcelona FC are the best, lolllll....
Do a soft reset (or turn off/on your phone) and... the most important... try it immediatly !!!
Enjoy...
Wow, I didn't think that would work. Will try it later on today. Thanks!
Work great, many thanks, mate.
works really fine - thanks!
(unfortunately this wouldn't work with iGO8 and Navigon MN7 which afaik both do not support switching between portrait and landscape while the apps are running)
Works beautifully, thanks a lot
Works GREAT, even with audiofix.
Now i have a stable device on my dashboard.

Where can I find HKCU/Software/HTC/HTCSENSOR/GSensor/ ?
try g-config
Hi guys,
have you tried the G-config app,
you can enable the auto landscape with tilt option on almost any program, just run g-config, then run the application you want to tweak.
A truly fantastic applcation, a big thanks to makeral.
Cheers,
Martin

But, gsense, g-config and others... are certainly very good applications ;-)...

That's true!
what G-config does is save us from adding mannualy applications to the white list, just like what is written in the first post in this thread.
does anybody know the value for Live Messenger?
TomTom works great with these register thing.

rotation Tomtom 7 works fine, thanks.
Just a question: it only rotates to left? or I did something wrong?
Only In Landscape
Anybody know of a way to get it so it ONLY works in landscape as when I go round a corner it keeps flipping between landscape and portrait - particularly bad on roundabouts!
Also, how do you change the set angle, 90 / 270 degrees etc?

Hey all,
I am currently using the energy rom with TF3D2..
I'm not to good at alterations to the phone and tweaks etc. but i am wondering.. on the home screen where the clock is.. the softkeys are LEFT: Contacts RIGHT: Comm Mgr.
Now my question is.. am i able to change the Comm Mgr. one (as i never use it) to say an action screen that i've installed? I have tried numerous things and they dont seem to work. On the original Touch Flo i knew how to do it but as i said, i cant figure out how to do it on the new one..
Any help would be much appreciated!

My bad. Thats a ROMeOS exclusive thing .
Sounds like you are using WM6.5.
The CHome homescreen takes over the softkey assignments the same way TouchFlo3D does. In order to change the Left and Right Softkey, you'll have to make the change manually in the registry or from a CHome Titanium Customizer.
The registry setting is easy if you know the link url to the file you want
Go to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CHome\CClock\
Find the Strings "SK2TEXT" and "SK2URL". The SK2TEXT is the name the button will display, and the URL is the link.
If you're wondering, in the main CHome Key (folder) you'll find the SK1TEXT and SK1URL which is the Left SoftKey; although I would leave contacts up there.
he said hes using tf3d2. he didnt say he was using chome.
Thanks for that! I found it in the registry.. the only thing is.. how do i create a URL for the program that i want to run when i click that softkey?

Hello again, fellow XDA'ers...
Is there some strings to be added/modified to get CoPilot to switch from portrait to landscape and vice versa automaticly, like the reg edits used for TomTom7 (found somewhere else on the forum)?
If anyone could post them here, I would be very grateful.
Thanks in advance.
no need for that... In teh menu op copilot go to settings, screen orientation and check the 'use device settings' (or something like that).
Iith a tool like gyrator add copilot to the g-sensor applications, and everything works.
i tried this, it worked great for co pilot, but in all, it just doesn't look right, so ill just keep with portrait, till i get my hd2
Hello,
I'm a french user and I want to find a way to remove "slide down for more options" during a call.

"EnableSlideCover"=dword:00000000

no just edit the existing key
Using Total Commander, I changed the default value from 1 to 0, which effectively turns it off by setting the value to 0.

Hi, i've used the Cab you provided and it worked; however it has also disabled the Proximity Sensor that blanks the screen when its next to your face, leaving it open to mulitple touches!
Is there any way to re-enable the sensor (or if that's too difficult) to restore the Phone function to its original state?!
don't use cabs for reg edits.. they really are a waste and you can't change the regkey back by uninstalling it
download and install CeRegEditor onto your PC
http://ceregeditor.mdsoft.pl/
connect your HD2 through activesync/msdc
run ceregeditor..
get to know the windows registry the easy way
if you go to tools/auto "jump to" when ever you highlight a reg key and copy it, ceregeditor will open that key..
so easy and efficient !
Thanks, I'll Try the App and see what's been done
Worked! Re-enabled the Slide to uncover Property, and that re-engages the Proximity Sensor!
Thanks Fard
So...how to disable that slide for more options now, so it dont effect anything else?
I just need to edit registry key from 1 to 0 or...?
This is now an option in the latest version of BsB Tweaks. I can confirm it works a treat.
Kinda OT:
But is there a way to make the "End Call" button to "Screen Off"??? It's stupid having the End Call button, as accidents do happens hitting it.

That's NOT TRUE!
Uninstalling a CAB made for a regedit does indeed go back to whatever registry settings you had earlier.
i understand that you can add lines to the registry to enable aplications to work with the HTC G Sensor like the below 2 reg entrys but how do you find out the key work for other applications, to tomtom its MunichWinClass, is there a default list for others, im looking for one for sky mobile for the TD2

In WhiteList

cheers in advance for you help.
