New discovery ! HTC Diamond charger - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV Accessories

Hi all,
Just a small discovery ; or maybe someone had already realised it !!http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/eek.gif
Anyway, posting for all to benefit.
I was looking to buy another charger for travelling and discovered that you can actually fit the mini-USD charger (those meant for Motorola) to the HTC !! There is no resistance and seems to plug and fit well too !!
(think those chinese made phones are also using mini-USD charger, so there is plenty in the market... not just Motorola.)
Had tried charging the HTC Diamond with Motorola charger and also used the Motorola data cable with success too !!
Anyway hope it helps save some cost.
PS : HTC charger are too expensive anyway.

Wanted: XDA2 or Hi Capacity batt for XDA1

Hi all,
The battery in my dads XDA1 has gone up the shoot, it no longer holds it charge well so it needs to be replaced, he asked me to look up how much a high capacity battery is but I can't seem to find them anywhere - as he wants a higher capacity internal battery, not the pack that fits on the back of the case.
I'm thinking maybe he should sell the XDA1 and buy an XDA2 - then he would have bluetooth which would be usefull to him, and the battery problem would be solved.
The only thing is cost
Does anyone have an XDA2 they want to sell - if so how much ?
or
Does anyone have / know where I can get a high capacity XDA1 battery in the UK ?
Cheers
Hi there, my XDA II is currently on Ebay and is unlocked,

Solar charger

i just bought a solar charger with a mini usb conector for my htc viva.
i'm in hollidays so i will not be out of battery in beach. eheh
Solar energies are allways wellcome.
Was it a good thing to buy? the price was 30€
it was at www.diplaza.com
please pm me when you get this! i wanna know how good it is! obviously its not a very good soloar cell because the good one's are expensive...but it would be really useful all thesame for a small price!!!
great
it is very good, i had no problems until now i've been using it for a couple of days, and i am really happy with it, it is very small and compact. my girlfrind keeps asking me to order a pink one for her ehehehehhe
I am also planning to buy a solar charger so that i can charge my mobile when i am out without the help of electricity..

Word of warning/advice... Don't leave it out in the rain, I know this from experience.
waterproof
i really don't think they are waterproof, but they have a waterproof mp3 player eheheh

groove3x: How much time it needs to fully charge your device? Because I have quite bad experience with solar chargers. They need to be on direct sun (every cloud really lengthen charging time) and for example my Vox needed about 9 hours to charge.

[Q] Bluetooth Headphone and Bluetooth version

which bluetooth headphone?
According to SGS Spec, our phone support v3.0 bluetooth (not sure how it benefit us compare with version 2.0)
I'm regular jogger, listen to music during my jog is what I like to do, unfortunately, I just had my expensive (to me at least) wire earphone torn apart , might be due to extensive movement during exercise, hence I'm looking at sporty bluetooth earphone/headphone.
I found Motorokr S9, but it's not available in my country (Asia). any other suggestion?

any suggestion?
I got the S9-HD
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16875982274
and they are pretty much the best I had! I used to have the red ones like on the pictures but I got it from a chineese website, so I'm not shure if they are the real deal or an imitation, but the HD's are wayyy better!
please use search next time. there's already a long existing thread for this... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=770339

[EDIT] HDMI out 8 pounds, ok? - It does not work, forget it

I found this cable in deal extreme for HDMI. There is a comment saying that it works in evo 4g, so it should work in our Sensation, right? Any one has bought this article? It is pretty cheap, I am just not sure because I cant find any reference to "MHL" in the specifications
http://www.dealextreme.com/p/gold-p...ale-shielded-connection-cable-1m-length-41524
Don't buy it, it won't work, I did this mistake the day I got my Sensation....before reading a little more about its HDMI out function.
i got mine i bought for my evo. lemme see if it works
*edit* different size man no dice, wouldn't even fit
Thank you, you saved me 8 bucks, I was about to buy it.

no problem man. lemme kno if u find one for the sensation at a good price id like to pick one up too
For the Sensation it's not "just a cable", the cable includes an "MHL module" (kind of a plastic small box) in which HDMI cable is plugged
Like this one, for example:

A bit late to the party..
Would this one work? Both phones have micro USB.

[Q] Fake Chinese HTC Charger?

Hi,
I wanted to share a photo of probably fake HTC charger:

}
Could anyone show me how original looks like ? Because this one above makes really nasty touch screen interference on my i9000
I too have got this charger, I got it from amazon and this is I think the 4th item I have got from them that I suspect to be counterfeit. Mine gets really hot and smells like the components are burning inside. I do have a original charger the same style but I'm reluctant to take it apart, I can confirm that it is very different looking, also the plug section should twist to come of and be replaced by euro or US adapers I suspect. I also get unresponsive touch screen while charging too.
Sorry for posting in such an old thread. I have a very similar fake charger. Mine was marked "For Samsung", despite being an imitation of an HTC charger. I'm also having problems with it (calls end unexpectedly while charging and music stops playing after a few seconds).
Can you show the rear of your charger's PCB, please?
Thanks in advance.
