Hi guys... just wondering how I can transfer mp3 files from my computer to the internal memory storage card of the htc diamond? I have managed to transfer to the htc diamond but it goes to the main storage memory! plz help!
not sure why you dont ask in the diamond forum where people have exp with the device
but for other devices if i want to access SDcard from my pc when the pda is connected
i choose Explore device or choose it from my computer
and then i end up in my documents
but there is an icon called my device or device or something like that when i click there
i end up in the root of my pda where i can enter my sdcard or storage dirs and as such copy files to them

Hi,
As you know , ActiveSync syncronises many things and one of them is the files on the my document folder in the memory of the device.
Question : is there a way to make the ActiveSync automatically syncronises my files on a folder in the SD card instead ?
If not , is there other tools to automate this task ?

i think because sd is removable storage and the program cant be sure if it's present and the fact that activesync is free may make this impossible

Hi ... i want to know if is posible how to dump a rom from my htc polaris.
and if some one know why mi SHDC 8Gb Trascend give me some problems about write or read between the PDA and the PC by de USB cable, or also with the TotalCommander inside the PDA, with a 2Gb i was the some problem, but with the Windows Explorer in the PDA i not have these problem.

When transferring data from FAT32 (I think you can transfer up to about a gig when formatted in FAT 32, correct me if i'm wwrong though ...) formatted devices there is a data limit that NTFS does not suffer from, i don't know if the cruise can accept a NTFS formmated card, but it may be worth a try.
Ok .. i formated the microSD on FAT32 in my Windows Vista ... and .. the problem is when i want to transfer any file of any size from the PC to the PDA across the USB and Active Sync or the new Active Sync on Vista.
Also if i copy a file from the microSD to the main memory with the totalcommander it give a error, just if i use the Windows Explorer that came on the PDA to move or copy file inside the PDA beteween the microSD and e main memory i not have an error.
This problem i have also with a 2Gb microSD.
If i put the microSD on the laptop or desktop, with the adapter i can move, copy, etc.etc. with not problem.
Some one know about dump a room from the PDA to can have a backup to reflash to can execute de warranty on the telco ?.

I have my magician with cutulla's windows mobile 6.1 And I have problem. My I have not enough memory for watching youtube for example. I know, that old PDA, but is there posible that all youtube temporary files go to storage card?
I realised that all youtube files going to windows/temp folder. So is there any way to change it to storage card? I searchedd in registry, but no luck.. please help

go and look for the Boot Menu in Windows directory on your device and click, and you will go to the boot menu! there you can change the type of rom, ram, and the page pool. You can change the amount of ram as ram devices possessed you, so also with page pool / / / watch out for this kind of rom you do not select the type R except the memory in your phone's 128 mb,,, it does not matter
I used to have an HTC desire and whenever I plugged it into my PC it would give me the option to mount as an external drive. I have had an HTC one x plus I no longer have this option I have root etc. and was wondering is there was perhaps an app or ROM which would allow me to do this?
What exactly are you trying to mount? The internal storage of the device or the SD card? If you want access to the internal storage of the device (accessing the YAFFS file system), to my knowledge there is no way to directly access that from the interface of your computer, as it uses a different file system. You can however, use a file viewer app on your phone to view those files, but you would be viewing them from the phone's screen. If you just want to access the SD card, it should automatically appear on your removable devices as soon as you plug in your device.

thanks for the reply, I'm trying to mount the virtual SD do as to make transferring movies, music, files and so on easier and faster than having to sync
No problem, this option should be available even if you root your devices, just select mount as disk drive or whichever option is most similar to that and you should be able to view the contents of the SD card.
Hello there everyone i am having a major issue with my one plus one and transferring files from the device to my computer. I hook it up via pc and i have the correct drivers installed but it won't show all my files that are on the device on my computer so that i can copy them to my computer. I have many movies on the device that are taking up space but they wont show up when i look on my pc for them to copy. Also i have 15GB worth of obb data files on the device and when i delete them i still have 2gb of free space on the device when i know i should have more. Can someone help me out?
