Diamond Rom on my Kaiser: OK, but which one? - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Windows Mobile ROM De

I know this is a basic question but I am a bit lost here with all those cooked roms. I would like to "transform" my Kaiser into a Touch Diamond (kind of).
a. Can I install directly a HTC Diamond Official Rom on my HTC Kaiser Tytn II?
b, if not, which is the closest Rom (cooked I guess) resembling the official HTC Diamond Rom that I can install on my HTC Kaiser Tytn II?
Thanks all.

u just go to any of these threads that have "diamond" in it, and pick which one u want.

That does not tell me which one is the closet one to the official Diamomd Rom. I don't need all the extra apps and would rather stick to the default HTC Rom as intended for the Diamond. BTW, wouldn't a Diamond Pro Rom (if available) even be better suit my Kaiser?
Thanks!

HTC P3400 Rom on Prophet

Hello everyone!
This question may sound a little awkward but is it possible to install the HTC Gene (P3400) ROM on a Prophet?
I'm asking this because I read that the P3400's hardware is pretty much the same as S200.
Thanks in advance!
It will doen't work!
Little example:
The HTC Orbit has nearly the same technical aspects as the HTC Prophet but you can't flash a Orbit ROM onto Prophet!

in case you don't know you can install Wizard ROMs on a Prophet i've done it myself, it just doesn't mean it will work well
never heard about htc orbit, but if you're talking about htc Artemis (xda orbit), it doesn't have the same hardware as the prophet: it has gps and fm radio and the prophet doesn't, for example. not to talk about the flash chips and stuff...!
Maybe or maybe not...
Hardware sound similar, but on p3400 no wifi hardware for example...
So might be possible to install, but some stuff will never work.
Wm6 10.0.15342.0
So could we make it with WIZARD's Wm6 10.0.15342.0 ? People having this device is really enthusiastic about this new brand ROm coming straight from Microsoft.
As soon as i get some free time i am gonna work on it.
i think it can work, but D600 look like dopod c858 or M700, but who can fix the rom for D600?

...why

i have a simple questio why all ROM cooker`s make only wm6 and wm6.1 professional instead of improving the standard one wich was made for smartphones non touchscreen? The wm6 and wm6.1 pro are to hard to use because HTC Tornado doesn`t have touch screen..why all of you try to improve the pro version instead of the standard one?
Because 6.1 Professional has a lot more options and is a lot more powerful in general. I encourage you to get hold of a Wizard or Hermes or TyTN or one of HTC's touchscreen PDA phones with 6.1 Pro on it (I have a friend who owns a Wizard that I play with once in a while) and try it out.
If they can get 6.1Pro to work on a Smartphone, I can see how a lot of people would want it.
Of course, on a personal level, I've tried one of the 6.1Pro ROMs currently available for the Tornado and, honestly, I don't like it. It's got a lot of stuff that I want, but the interface just doesn't seem to work for me. I can't find my way around, can't figure out the button layout. If there was a 6.1 Standard that had all the options and capabilities of 6.1Pro, or if there was a 6.1Pro with a 6.1Standard interface, I'd be ALL FOR IT.
In any case, there's at least one person working on a 6.1 Standard for us Tornado users - GnatGoSplat has an *excellent* 6.1 Standard ROM that's been available for quite some time and, we're hoping, will be updated in the near future. GnatGoSplat rules.

I'm with you on this mate... Pro is for touch screen devices. Why the heck would anyone want that on a non-touch screen device? I have an HTC Touch running GnatGoSplats WM6.1 Pro - brilliant... I also have a Tornado running Gregory's WM6 Neo - also brillianr, but I wouldn't want anOS designed for a completely different kind of device on my Tornado no matter how good Pro is! Leave Pro with the touch screen devices, THAT'S WHAT IT'S FOR!!!

Why am I posting things twice? I must have got carried away with my ranting.... sorry!
pro versoon for smartphone rocks
yes but pro isn`t for non touchscreen devices...in my opinion for HTC Tornado make wm6.1 or wm6 better and do not try to make the pro version better...

HolGORE
nopee
sorry dude you cannot use a diamond rom let alone any htc rom on that phone because it was not made by htc... what you need to look for is programs, skins etc. made for 240×400 resolution to work with your phone.. not sure if tf3d works with the omnia.. what ever you find on here make sure you read all the notes to see if it phone specific
Check this out it might help some..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=400313
thanks for your fast answer
which tf3d do i need?#
i found severeal links but i dno which one i need for my omnia ;d
or how can i get at least the same menu than the htc diamond? with the animted things too.. like weather and so on ;c
regards
you may be able to get manilla 2d but your phone is not htc so it will not load tf3d. People are having a hard enough time porting tf3d to other htc phones it wasn't made for.
Ok so how do i revert back to the original omnia rom? im currently using M2D rom..
i got a i900 8gb and got a htc rom on it working very nicely, can't complain

NO...fast route to a paper weight.
a good place to start
First I will say, I don't care why you want to do this, if you want to, good for you, give it a shot. I myself have been working on getting windows for workgroups to run on my tytn II, just for the heck of it, I have had no success yet, but have been able to run windows 3.0.
Second, I would think a good place to start would be with someone who is familiar with cooking for wm5 and wm6, ask them if wm5 is compatible with the tytn II chip set and if the roms build in the same way or a different way. In other words ask them if you cook a wm5 base rom, the same way you do a wm6 base rom.
Third, you have to make sure the way wm5 uses resources is compatible with the way the kaiser shares and stores the os and programs.
A while back a similar question was asked about wm2003 and the tytn, the reason they wanted it was because the wm2003 os uses very little memory which would in theory free up resources pending on your needs. The outcome was that the way wm2003 runs and uses resources, was not compatible with the tytn chip set.
Hope this helps a little, you might want to hit up Erofich in a pm, he has done work on both os's, but not the kaiser.

Andriod 1.5 on HTC Touch Diamond 2

I recently upgraded to a T-Mobile MDA Compact V and having spent a few hours playing around with a customised version of the HTC Touch Diamond2 interface I used the Hard-SPL to flash the ROM with an original ROM, which I would like to add is much better.
I then starting thinking whether it is possible to replace the Windows based OS with the latest version of Andriod packaged with the HTC Hero. The HTC Touch Diamond2 and the HTC Hero appear to have quite a few similarities in terms of specifications so would it really be difficult to install Andriod...???
If any one knows then please enlighten the rest of us.
Thanks,
Khaz

A lot of people are working on Android ports for WM devices. Having said that, I would wait (unless you are a programmer, someone with the knowledge to do this, or simply an adventurer with high chances of getting an expensive paperweight )
Look in the threads (or Google) for Android port +WM or something like that. Good luck
BTW, you should have posted this in the Q&A section...
